Playing the iPhone/Morphwiz with my band!
Hey guys, how are you?
I play keyboard in a band called VRA!. The ideia behind the project is to collaborate online to record good music with good people. It's really fun and the feedback has been great!
In our latest video, we covered Dream Theater's "Constant Motion" and I also used a cool app called Morphwiz (created by DT's keyboardist, available to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) to play some sections of the song. Here's the result:

(3) Apple didn`t include video support because of the quality of the 2 MP camera, they are known as being the best in video and photography, so enabling video would result in a poor quality, Apple`s approach on this was all or nothing.
(9) It supports loads of attachments such as PDF, DOC, images, that can be saved to the phone, or attached right after making them from the Camera Roll, and actually it supports push email, via the "Mobile Me" service from Apple (.Mac). This requires a anual payment, but it`s not that expensive, considering that you can use it with PC`s, Macs, and your phone.
(10) The iPhones keyboard is the best I`ve ever used, i takes about a week to write fast, and about 2 to be a pro, and I mean really fast :))

On the Apple website, I read that you must run OS 10.6.8 in order to sync the iPhone 5 with the computer. However, in the tech specs on the "Buy the iPhone now" email I received at my .me email address, it listed the OS sytem needed as 10.5.8. Which is it?
In Reply to all fellow Apple fans: It is great that someone found a work-around to the iTunes 11.4 no syncing problem. I think that is fine for the short term. And I am really glad that we customers have a forum to share information and experiences regarding Apple's products. However, as someone here said, we are all customers; and posting a problem here "IN HOPES THAT APPLE READS THESE POSTS" is NOT a way to resolve this issue or any issue.
PLEASE CONTACT APPLE: Apple Service Center: 1-800-275-2273 - Once you get a ticket number then and only then is this documented and then Apple can follow-through and alert the engineers who will fix this.
The "CWA2" work-around band-aid does several things in addition to reverting back to iTunes 11.3.1. :
1) It ensures that Apple continues to know nothing of the problem.
2) It ensures that the faulty code that is within 11.4 remains there and is perpetuated into future versions.
3) It ensures that YOU can never upgrade to future versions. (If the resident faulty code remains and perpetuates)
So once you have reverted back to 11.3.1, the problem APPEARS to have gone away (FOR YOU) but you have not solved the problem.
Again, respectfully,
1) Sending feedback to apple (using the "Report Bugs To Apple" menu item in Safari will get the information to someone, somewhere and add it to the pile of issues, complaints, suggestions, etc.
2) CALLING the Apple service/support Center at 1-800-275-2273 will put you in touch with a real APPLE person who will begin the process of documenting and forwarding this issue on to those who will fix it.
and
3) emailing Apple directly will make sure that they get the information.

Is the iPhone compatible with the Music Link I have in my 2006 Honda Accord

Welcome to the forums.
It appears that update 1.1.2 (or perhaps even 1.1.1) "fixed" some issues with the iPhone not working with certain iPod car stereo systems. However, not all seem to be working. As others have suggested, trying it may be the only way to know for sure.
If you haven't bought it yet and this is one factor then perhaps you could borrow a friend's iPhone to see. However, I wouldn't make this the primary reason to buy an iPhone. -

Will I need to purchase iWork for my iPad if I purchase an iPhone 5s? Everybody knows the iPhone 5s with IOS7 gives iWork for free. I assume that if I buy an iPhone 5s (or 5c) then iWork would be listed as a "purchased" app in my itunes store under my account. My iPad retina is in the same account... or are keynote, pages, and numbers completely seperate between ipad and iphone? I know they would be a seperate purchase for my Powerbook. I spend good money for my iPhone i have the iPhone 5 with the new charger slot which is smaller. I have been through at least 3 charging cords and this is not acceptable to me. i never had a problem with this on my older phone. apple needs to correct this and reimburse me for this cord.
Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement. -
I have two children each with an ipod which has FaceTime - I have the iphone 4s with FaceTime. All of these devices are connected to itunes through the one account. How do I set up the FaceTime on the two ipods so as it doesn't ring both of them?
I started to do that then it said that this will become their apple I.D or similar and then I thought that will disconnect them from the same iTunes? I want them still on my iTunes as they are only young (8 and 10)? Or have I got this all wrong and even if I do set them up with a different e-mail will they still be on my itunes? For example if they want to purchase an App will it still go through my account even if they use their ipod?

On the moment that I connect the Iphone 5 on Windows 8, it is not recognized by Itunes, but actually it appears as a usual USB cable, or as a camera. And then I can't synchronize the Iphone 5 with Itunes. So, what do i do?

If your iPhone is recognized by the computer, but not seen by iTunes, you may need to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service, as described in this article -

Once iTunes recognizes the iPhone you should be able to sync it with iTunes. See this article

Normally the screen of the IPhone turns with you when you turn the phone on it's side. Mine has stopped doing that. My phone works fine, the screen just wont turn. How do I fix that????
Check to see if the orientation lock is on. Do you see what looks like a small lock with a circular arrow around it near the battery icon in the status bar? Swipe upwards from the bottom of the phone to bring up Control Center. The orientation lock is the last icon on the top row right. It is a toggle, white is on, black is off.

I am going to japan with an Ipod nano and Iphone 4. Do I need a converter? or does the one the iphone comes with that plugs into the wall enough? I know i wont need an adapter because it will fit into the wall outlet, but voltage wise, will i need a converter? Japan runs on 100 V. I am so confused on all of this...
As long as the adapter is 2 pronged, then you should be able to use it without any problems.
