If you have Apple TV you may connect via it or use Lightning digital AV adapter and HDMI cable if your TV has HDMI.

I did find an error log related to the error code and tried all suggestions on the list of recommendations, still no luck
I definitely am running OS X10.5.8 (hopefully will be updating later on this month)
I tried several brand new discs from the same box, still no luck.
My last option is to go out and try a different brand, guess I'll go with Verbatim this time but I think I'll poke around some more before buying 20 more new discs.

How to transfer video I shot from iPhone5 to my Mac?

Sorry to be such a dolt, but I don't get it. I don't see anything explaining in the iPhone5 manual really how to get the videos you shoot in the phone into your Mac (in my case an iMac). I have iCloud, I have a photo stream. iPhoto does not make any of my videos show up. I see some things say "email it" - I know of no ISP that would allow something the size of a video to be emailed. I thought iCloud would make it stream or appear in some way to my computer.
Can anyone please shed some light on how we get the videos we shoot from the iPhone5 into our computer, so we can save them or load them onto YouTube?

You can transfer songs from iPhone to Mac in 2 ways.
1. Through bluetooth.
2. Through USB cable.+++ Steps to transfer songs from iPhone to mac:

Can't play video with Extreme from NAS. Help.

I have bought AirPort Extreme 2013 and now I can't play video on my Home Theater. (Can't play video. This video file is not supported).
Before I had ASUS RT-N66U router and video were played fine. The most of them. I mean *.avi, *.mkv and other codecs.
Video files are on LaCie 2big NAS. It connected to AirPort Extreme with ethernet cabe (1Gb). Home theater connected to AE router with WiFi. I can browse all the files on NAS, view photos but cant play any video now.
It plays video from USB stick, but cant play the same video from NAS with WiFi.
There no any setting on AirPort utility. What should I do? Whats wrong?

Can Apple TV play videos on TV from NAS Drive?

I have a problem playing transferred home movies on a flat screen tv through the “TV Out” feature of my Iphone 4.
I have captured about a TB worth of various home movie videos from VHS tape to my PC hard drive. I then converted these AVI files to M4V to play on Iphone & Itunes. I then copied these M4V video files to a Western Digital “My Book Live” NAS Drive which allows me to view any video using my Iphone, via a WD app, without using Iphone internal memory.
The problem is that I cannot play these videos through “TV Out” on my Iphone when connected to a flat screen TV. Apple techs told me that TV Out is only good with videos recorded from Iphone and stored in the internal memory of Iphone.
So my questions are:
1- Can I access my NAS drive (which has all videos stored) and play those videos on flat screen TV using Apple TV and Air Play?
2- Does Apple TV only play videos stored on the internal memory of Apple products (Iphone, Ipad, Itunes) or will Apple TV mirrior my NAS Drive videos, via Iphone app, onto the TV?
Any advice is greatly appreciated .

Good news; you can access Movie files directly from a NAS without using iTunes.
Well, at least I can...
I have a WD MyBook Live Duo NAS. I also have an iPad/iPhone app for to access this NAS (WD 2go Pro).
From my iPad I connect with the NAS, select a movie to play, and stream it to my Apple TV (I think the WD app uses the standard iOS videoplayer, so streaming to AppleTV is supported).
That's all there is to it.
The movies stored on the WD Nas are in .m4v format (MP4) and placed in a share that is capable of streaming (DLNA). Most modern NAS devices let you set up one or more 'shares' for streaming.
I keep my iTunes Library only for music and apps, and is not stored on my NAS.
So I play movies without iTunes and from my NAS.
I don't know how all this technically works, but it works. I can even use the Apple TV remote-control to pause and play the movie, without using the iPad again.
Maybe you should check if your NAS has an accompanying App for smartphone and/or tablet, and trie it out.
p.s.: In my situation it only works with my iPad. I've tried my iPhone, but the WD App crashes as soon as I try to play a movie.

You can certainly stream video from the video app on your devices. You can also stream video from many other apps, but not all. There are some providers such as Sky GO or HBO GO, that deliberately block AirPlay.

Video import problem from iphone5 to PC giving error

I have iphone 5. I try to import my videos but am not able to import all, its giving error. I tried also using windows live photo still same prob. the imported videos have problem in playing. I tried with vlc, quick time, the frames are broken and audio video lag. Please help me how i can import all and rum smoothly.

Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).

Airplay is a wireless streaming protocol. It allows content to be pushed from the iPad through the Apple TV onto your connected HDTV.
If she wants to see the iPad displayed on the big screen and/or play games that involves mirroring. As long as it's an iPad 2 (or later) then you will be fine. More info on both has been referened below

Keynote 6.0 shows will not play videos, only sound from clips

I have upgrader to Mavericks and KN 6.0
Now when I try to play previous KN presnetations containing video clips, some play fine, others just play with sound + no video, and other play sound + video, but with loud "ehcoes" making them unusable.
What do I need to do to corret this.

Playing slideshow on tv from ipad cutting off picture

I am connecting my ipad 2 to my TV with a RocketFish Composite adapter and trying to play a video slideshow on my TV. I am able to play the video/slideshow just fine, however both the top and bottom of the videos (and pictures) are being cut off by several inches. When played directly on my iPad the size is fine ( no cut offs). The videos were converted to Ipad compatable (.m4v) using Aimersoft Video Converter and the iPad presets. The resolutions of the videos are 720 x 480. The TV I am connecting to is 1080P LED TV. I have tried different aspect ratios in the TV's settings but there are not much to choose from and each setting changes the size of the video a little, but the amount being cut off from the top and bottom is consistent. What can i do to correct this problem. Also, I need this slideshow for a trade show I am in tomorrow afternoon, so a quick response would help a lot.
Another thing... In my research so far, I found that iPad 2 can mirror its display (meaning what you see on the iPad you see on the TV) onto the TV. But I cannot seem to get that to work either. I can only play videos and slideshows from the apps that allow you to. How do I go about mirroring my display to my TV? Does it only work with a HDMI connection?

What adapter are you using? I have the Digital AV Adapter that connects to the HDMI input of a small Vizio HDTV. It seems to work OK, and has stereo sound. My only problem has been the weight of the HDMI cable pulling the adapter out of the iPad.
Apple also sells VGA, Component and Composite adapters. I also have the VGA adapter which works on the HDTV and one LCD monitor. However it doesn't work on a couple of older monitors I tried. Also VGA is video only. You would need to run a separate cable for sound on the TV.

Elements 10 - play video files

Elements 10 with Win 7 installed on a new HP desktop PC will not open or play video files uploaded from Nikon camera. Error messages say: file cannot be palyed because your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor (codec) installed; and go to Apple.com to download Quicktime. At Apple.com, Quicktime would not download.
