"Playlist is too dense" error
21 audio instrument tracks in my arrangement. Never seen this error before. Have frozen tracks but they won't play and this message comes up. Could this be a corrupt song or another variation of the disk too slow message?
Anyone had experience with this?
What are the differences between and Audio CD and an MP3 CD?
When you burn an audio CD, the tracks get converted to .aiff (they will not stay as .mp3 or aac) This is an uncompressed format. In other words, the .aiff has a larger file size than .mp3 or aac. Of the shelf CDs are formatted .aiff.
A MP3 CD is just that, a CD that contains .mp3s. Some CD players cannot play a MP3 CD. All CD players can play an Audio CD (the native format for a CD.)
Hope this helps...

This FM have only an import parameter as structure, the last field of this structure is 16000 characters long.
When I start the application if the long field is empty all works fine, but if I fill it the java compiler send me this runtime error:

Disk Utility: Creating a new blank image receiving "file too large" error.
Hello All!
I'm trying to create a 10GB non-encrypted, non-compressed RW blank image via the disk utility. The DU runs for a few minutes then barfs out "file too large" error. I have over 30GB free on my HDD. I tried with a smaller size of 6GB to no avail. Also tried unsuccessfully to create from a file (about 4 GB). My ultimate goal is to create a case-insensitive image to run an extremely important program needed for high priority work productivity (i.e. WoW). Thanks in advance for any advice! You will be my new best friend if you help me resolve this. =D

Have you created images before successfully?
Is this to/on your boot drive, or an external drive?
Have you done any Disk/OS maintenance lately?
We might see if there are some big temp files left or such...
How much free space is on the HD, where has all the space gone?

Restore-DfsrPreservedFiles "Path Too Long" Error
I'm attempting to run this on a file server where all replicated folders live in the D:\data drive. I am not sure why I would get a "Path Too Long" error and the exception does not provide any clues as to what it doesn't like -- or if it does,
I am reading it wrong. Ideas anyone?

Logic Freezes During Playback w/ Disk Too Slow Error
I'm trying to mix a song in Logic 9.1.7, but it has gotten to the point where Logic immediately freezes as soon as I hit the playback button in order to actually listen to my project. Before this I was occasionally getting the Sudden Motion Sensor/ Disk Too Slow error. I have increased the buffer size to 1024 and set the buffer range to large. I haven even disabled the sudden motion sensor, just incase this was the problem. I am currently using a Macbook Pro which is not connected to the interface, so this shouldn't be a problem. However, I use a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 interface. The only third party plug-in that I am currently running on the project is the Focusrite Plug-in Suite - which I think might be the issue, considering that my other laptop is runing the same plug-in and having the exact same error. I already tried downloading every relevant software patch and update from the Focusrite website, all to no avail. I have been running Logic along with this plug-in, for over 2 years now and have never once had this problem. I haven't had any problem running Pro Tools, so obviously this problem is specific to Logic. This is incredibly frustrating, and I need this resolved soon. I have a deadline that I must meet by the end of the week.
Update: I just tried running Logic in 64-bit mode. It played for maybe a second and then gave me an error indicating that the plug-in suite was indeed keeping it from running properly. Guess I was right. It will play properly now, but contantly pops up with errors, not to mention that the HD and CPU meters are both constantly riding the red. I will put the most recent 64-bit error report log before the first one I got. I recieved the first one while still running 32-bit.
Here is the 64-bit one:

No Reason For Disk Too Slow Error, any ideas?
Ok,
So I've used Garageband for years from iLife 06 and up and I've never had an issue with any Garageband until now. Here's the deal, I still get the disk too slow error, and there is no explanation. Below is my computer config:
COMP I'M USING:
Macbook Pro 13 inch
OS X Mavericks
Intel Core 2 Duo (1st unibody)
4 GB of RAM MAX
BRAND NEW Hybrid 7200 RPM Drive Installed 500GB total, 300 GB FREE
NO Other programs are open.
I use Garageband for recording songs but mostly now for recording podcasts. So the track I am using is normally 1 hour in duration. I can't seem to skip around, from minute 1 to minute 54 and edit at my whim without beach ball and timeing out getting the disk to slow error I never had this issue before, I either get the disk to slow error when trying to navigate large gaps of time in the podcast as I said earlier or even during RECORDING a podcast it'll simply say disk to slow, stop recording and occassionally say there are too many tracks in use, when I only record using 1 track of audio.
How can this be possible? Even my old G4 allowed me to jump all over the timeline with no issues. It seems there is some kind of flaw in the software. And yes, I just restored OSX Mavericks to my brand new Hybrid Hard drive, so there's no explanation as there are no disk errors or permissions errors of any kind.
I'd rather not hookup an external drive to record too as that seems silly when I've never had too before. If this "modern" computer can't do something that my old G4 ibook can do, don't you think we're going in the wrong direction with this program?
I've heard of so many people having this issue, and I thought upgrading my OS and getting a new HD would help but it hasn't. I'm at wits end with this issue.
Any advice would be helpful, thank you. There are a few other reports of problems with 10.6.7
Some audio device(s) inputs have ceased working, a few disk to slow messages...etc. I don't see the wisdom of upgrading a working DAW system if that's it main function. OSX has to support a lot of different hardware now, many, many Intel motherboard and/or processor revisions... it's not going to be as smooth sailing as it used to be.

Disk too slow error when using M-Audio Oxygen 49 keyboard
I bought the M-Audio Oxygen 49 keyboard. And when I plug it into my MacBook Pro to do some playing, the project will record for maybe a minute but then I get a 'disk too slow' error and the recording stops. This happens every single time, no matter if there's 30 tracks or 1 track on the recording. I know that it is the keyboard causing the error because I am currently working on a 59 track piece that has effects on almost every track and my setup doesn't even blink. (well it'll pinwheel for a second when I hit record sometimes, but the CPU and disk meters don't ever get near red-line levels).
What on earth is causing this stupid keyboard to cause this problem, and how do I fix it? It's clearly the keyboard. When I unplug it and record a live track on a project that just gave me the 'disk too slow' error, everything works just fine!
Grr...
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Edit: I have the MBP plugged via firewire into an Echo Audiofire and then into a WD hard dtive (at 7200 RPM). The keyboard is USB into the MBP.

i spoke with Apple pro application support staff who confirmed that the Tascam 1884 patch for 10.4.10 is the cause of the problem. The apple boot drive can reliably record 1 channel of audio under normal circumstances. Apple staff described the situation as "unfortunate" and recommended to wait for Tascam to release 10.4.10 compatible drivers.
For anyone interested in the technical background, the Tascam 10.4.10 patch DOWNGRADES the audioFW component (messing with kernel headers etc.). This compromises the OS's ability to correctly communicate with FW devices.
I had tried recording to a firewire 800 drive, but all FW IO is affected by the 10.4.10 Tascam patch: Logic simply didn't record anything to disk when I tried this, and the machine became unresponseive. I do not recommend anyone attempt recording to a FW drive with the Tascam drivers installed.
I have recorded circa 400 hours of single channel 96K 24bit audio to my internal Macbook Pro boot drive using the same software/configuration under 10.4.9 without a single glitch. I do recognise that when requiring heavy disk IO it is not advisable to record to the boot drive. However, 1 channel of audio can be reliably recorded if the system is well maintained.
Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions. -
Snapshot too old error occured, kindly need solution for it...
Dar friends
I got snapshot too old error on most used database
Kindly give me the solution....
my solution was
Alter rollback segment <rollback segmnt name>
datafile '<path>/filename.dbf' resize <no>k;
or
alter rollback segment <rollback segmnt name>
add datafile '<path>/filename.dbf' size <no>k
storage(initial 1k nxt 1k minextnts 2 maxextents unlimited)
Kindly suggest me wheather my code is currect or not...
Ur
FriendI don't know what version of the database you are running? I'm only using 8.1.7.4. But where I come from, you add datafiles to the tablespace, not the rollback segment.
alter tablespace rollback
add datafile '<blah, blah>'
size 147m
autoextend on next 100m maxsize 2047m;
Make sure that you have a suitable number of rollback segments that are well-sized extents. But mostly, listen the Tom Best, and try and introduce some best practices (no pun intended) to reduce the likelihood of this situation arising. -
a friend's ipad got the too hot error message earlier this afternoon, despite the device never having been used outside and having been inside in a 68 degree house at the time. was being used to watch YouTube videos primarily.
let the device cool down.
then they got the blue screen, and now the device won't power up, acknowledge power cord plugged in, or reboot at all. no apple screen, no slider, nothing.
i'm guessing the device is totally bricked.
anyone have any other suggestions, before we call tech support (it's a company-owned device, not personal, and only purchased in september 2012 so still under warranty).
thanks!Hi Buddy! Well I was up 'til 5am and NOTHING changed on the indicator lights OR the computer...gave it 'til I got up today (11am ish) and still NOTHING!(Just my power bill going up LOL) However, if I turn it off, back on, off, back on THEN press alt+f10 BEFORE it starts 'circling' I get: "preparing repair" right away which gets my hopes up BUT nothing.OK. So I have gone to look at the option of buying repair discs like you suggested, but the bleeping store web page keeps coming up "sorry ...we are aware of this problem...we are working on it" all in red ink. Yup, right, like you have great customer service too, yeah? grrrrrAnyhoo, wondering about this:a) could something be LOOSE? A neighbour told me her son had the EXACT same model and problem and just the RAM was loose. He had to pay $$ a technician just to fix that which took about 5sec. Could that be the case here? Something loose?b) Should/could I open the computer and check myself? What does the RAM board look like? Can I find a diagram somewhere that shows me a map of the inside of the computer? I am a craftsperson (jewelry) and I am quite confident I have the tools to open it and look inside...What do you think?

Too large error troubleshooting jdev10.1.3.3- jhs10.3.2.52
Hi, how are you? I have in my jheadstart application definitiion cases where one detail or detail-detail group has list of values, when I run the application I take the following error: • Error: code segment of method _jspService(javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest, javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse) too large
, then I set the generate groups in region file- generate search area in region file properties- generate and run the application , but I cannot open the detail groups or both the list of values in master groups. Then I uncheck these properties and run again but sometimes I take again the above too large error, which prevents me from running the application. i' ve heard that if one buys the jheadstart license can have access to one patch that faces the too large problem successfully, we have the jheadstart license by oracle, could you inform about any possible solution that could solve this problem?Yes, if you have a JHeadstart license, you can download the latest 10.1.3.3 release from cso.oracle.com.
Can you download this version and see whether it solves your problem?

How to find the exact coloumn which fired the column value too large error
Hi all
I have a procedure which has a insert statement init.
I have encountered an column value too large error in that procedure.
I want to know exactly in which column the error has come
Any ideas,

Advanced Queues Snapshot too old error
I am using the advanced queues to submit work for parallel processes running through the Oracle Job Queue.
I have attempted running anywhere from 1 to 5 simultaneous processes (in addition the the process which submits them to the Oracle job queue and populates the advanced queues) and I am getting sporadic Snapshot too old errors when the other processes are attempting to dequeue. The Advanced queues are populated before the other processes are submitted to the job queue, so I don't see that there could be conflicts between one process enqueuing while another is dequeuing.
The reason I am attempting this is to try and gain some performance by running processes in parallel.
Has anyone else had problems like this? Is this a bug in Oracle 8.1.6? Is there a parameter setting I need to adjust? Are there any suggestions for getting around this problem?I don't know what version of the database you are running? I'm only using 8.1.7.4. "result too large" error when accessing files
Hi,
I'm attempting to make a backup copy of one of my folders (using tar from shell). For several files, I got "Read error at byte 0, reading 1224 bytes: Result too large" error message. It seems those files are unreadable. Whatever application attempts to access them results with the same error.
The files reside on the volume that I created a day ago. It's a non-journaled HFS+ volume on external hard drive. They are part of an Aperture Vault that I wanted to make an archive copy and store offsite. Aperture was closed (not running) when I was creating the archive.
This means two things. The onsite backup of my photos is broken, obviously (some of the files are unreadable). My offsite backup is broken, since it doesn't contain those files.
I've searched the net, and found couple of threads on some mailing lists describing same problem. But no answer. Couple of folks on those mailing lists suggested it migh point to full disk. However, in my case, there is some 450GB of free space on the volume I was getting read errors on (the destination volume had about 200GB free, and system drive had about 50GB free, so there was plenty of space all around the system too).
File system corruption?
Mac OS X (10.4.9)Here's the tar command with the output:
$ tar cf /Volumes/WINNIPEG\;TOPORKO/MacBackups/2007-05-27/aperture.tar Alex\ -\ External\ HD.apvault

Here's the "ls -l" output for one of the files in question:
$ ls -l IMG_0187.jpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 dijana dijana 3840 Mar 24 23:27 IMG_0187.jpg
Accessing that file (or any other from the above list) gives same/similar error. The wording differes from command to command, but basically it's the same thing (read error, or result too large, or both combined). For example:
$ cp IMG_0187.jpg ~
cp: IMG_0187.jpg: Result too large
The console log doesn't show any related errors. -
I have an iBook G4 and I am running Numbers '08. I tried to open my budget document today and got an 'The document can't be opened because it is too large' error message. I just opened it a few days ago and it was fine, and my other Numbers documents are opening fine. It is a spreadsheet with about 5 sheets - not really THAT big, especially considering some of the Excel spreadsheets I deal with at work. Any ideas? This is (of course) the most important document on my computer...
(1) comparing to Excel documents size is meaningless.
Given the fact that Numbers uses xml, its files are huge.
(2) Try to close every application including Numbers then, double click your document.
Doing that you will have the maximum memory available for the document.
(3) check the quantity of space available on your HD.
Numbers make an heavy use of virtual memory so, it need a lot of free space available on the HD.
If these tracks don't help, you may send the document to my mailbox (use the free YouSendit if it's too big for a attachment)
I would try to open it and scan it to see if there is a way to reduce its memory requirements.
Click my blue name to get my address.
Don't worry if it contains personal infos, i'm neither the KGB, nor the CIA.

Hi,
I have an enum with about 3000 values in application. When I add some more items I get "code too large" error during compilation.
Is there any workaround for that problem? (Some configuration change?)
What exactly does compiler want to say? Where can I find info about what limit do I exceed?
I will appreciate any kind of help :)
Greetings
Michalwhat can you kno? Model of the form is not hardcoded, it is in DB, it is modifiable by user(admin). Only elements which have specific business validation have identifier (i mean enum identifier). They must be somehow identified, not just by number. Number may change if sone adds a question before this one.
