Playlist not updated after music was deleted
I have been wanting to delete my music from my iPhone, so I turned to this iExplorer software which lets you access the iPhone's root directory. I managed to find the folder which the music was stored in, which was "/Root Directory/User/Applications/Media/iTunes_Control/Music" , where I found several folders named FXX (e.g. F01, F27), and in each of them there were some music files whose names were all four characters and was some jumbled up combination of text and numbers (e.g. G8J1). Listening to all the files, I realised those were all the music that my iPhone contained, so I proceeded to delete all the FXX folders. However, when I tried to open up my iPod, the track list and playlists remain intact. When I selected any track, it would then randomly jump to about 2-4 other tracks without playing them and then returning to the song list. When I tried to sync the phone with new songs in my iTunes, it would just start and finish syncing without doing anything. So how do I clear the track list of the songs that are not there anymore and also how should I get my iTunes to sync with my iPhone?
Other things to note:
- When I went to the "About" section under Settings > General, it still says that I have songs inside the phone
- When I double press the home button and slide to the right to show the music player, when I press Play, similarly, it just jumps through about 3-4 tracks then stops doing anything.
Restore it from a backup, or purchase it again, or fill out and submit this form for iTunes Store music. If the music came from CDs, reimport those CDs.

hi, updated my iphone where in the middle of updated the screen showed i must connect to itunes. after connecting to itunes my iphone was updated but everything was deleted. was first time on itunes , so have no backup. can i recover my pics and contacts? please help

Music should be in your iTunes media library - sync with iTunes.
Purchased music - go the iTunes app - more - purchased - hit cloud to redownload. -

My complete music was deleted automatically. I inserted everything in iTunes again. Next day it was gone again. I couldn't find anything at the support.

Just a little additional information to supplement the advice you have received above.
You may already be using the iPod in manual update mode in which case you can ignore the rest of this post. In manual mode, your iPod is safe from being accidentally erased. However, if your iPod is set for automatic update, when you connect you will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, click *No*. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list. Change the update setting in Preferences>iPod to "manually manage songs and playlists" Managing Your Songs Manually
You can also use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys (on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘) keys). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 30 seconds depending on your computer. Then go to Preferences>iPod and check the "Manually manage songs and playlists" box.
Keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync again.
Just to reiterate the iTunes Warning.
If at any stage iTunes brings up a dialogue window asking whether you want to replace the songs on your iPod with the songs in iTunes, press "No". Pressing "Yes" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. -
Node.length not updating after removeInstance
I have a dynamic form where line items can be added dynamically. I also have a button to remove the last line item. The code worked fine until Acrobat 7.0.7 now I get an error that the index in the removeInstance method is invalid. After doing some debugging it appears that the node.length is not updating after a removal of an instance.
For example, the form starts with 1 line item. (node.length = 2, index = 0)
I can successfully add a new line item (node.length = 3, index = 1)
I then can add another line item (node.length = 4, index = 2)
I can successfully delete the last line item (index = 2) using the following code:

At this point the items.node.length property should be 3 but it remains 4 thus causing an error when running the above script again because there is no corresponding item to remove.
This appears to be a bug - but if I am doing something wrong please let me know. If it is a bug, please fix it.This sounds like a bug I recently encountered. If it's the same thing then calling xfa.form.remerge() after the removeInstance() should correct the problem. If it is the same issue, it's already been logged in order to get it fixed.

Infostructure S502 not updated after certain date
There is an infostructure S502. It is not updated after a certain date.
It should be updated after saving in C011N.
This problem seems to have propped up after upgrade to ECC 6.0. Before that it was working fine.I have tried a lot but still S502 is not properly updated. Basically the field for date i.e SPTAG is empty. Due to this when we try to select from MCRQ based on dates, no data is selected.
Is it because of some setting in MC23? -
Recently added playlists not updating
Am getting quite frustrated. My recently added is fine on iTunes on the computer but via match on my Apple TV it's not showing recent added songs. It's like the playlist stopped updating as any songs added in last 10 days are not showing on the playlist. They are showing in the main library on my Apple TV so it's just the playlist. I created a similar smart playlist called recently purchased with similar rules, only diff is songs must of been purchased and this is behaving exactly the same in that any songs added last ten days are not on it. Sonething is working because I changed the rule to must if been added in last thirty days and it updated Apple TV playlist in as much as it then displayed a lot more songs in recently added going back that far but still none if the very recent ones in last ten days
Why is it not mirroring itunes and updating - any else see the same?I've been having this same exact issue since updating my iPhone to iOS 8.2 - didn't experience this issue prior to that. I normally sync my phone via wifi, and I thought that might not be working. But just connected my phone directly to my computer, and still experiencing the same issue (playlists not updating).
Until Apple can fix this bug, the only workaround I've found that actually works is this - on your iOS device, go into settings and then scroll down to the Music sub-section and open that up. There is a slider called "iTunes Match". I turned it off, waited a second or two, and then turned it back on. At least for me, that seems to cause a proper sync to happen, without causing any side effects. Again, that's my personal experience. -

WHy do apps not update after installing iOS6?
Each time? every day? Just plain crazy! Updates happen automatically on your mac....why not the same thing on ipad/iphone?
If the app was purchased on my phone with my account, surely they do not need to "verify" my credentials each time. If my phone was stolen and someone purchased a $20 app surely my $300 phone is more important?
They need to come up with e better solution...when we all have hundred or thousands of apps on our devices what then? -
I have a problem with the iPhoto not updating after the hard drive recall.
The iPhoto with not update after doing the Hard Drive Recall. It keeps saying I don't have the right ID. I have tried resetting all my passwords and no change. What do I need to do to fix this problem?
Which OS version did you have when you acquired iPhoto and was it on a DVD (iLife) or did you download it from the app store initially?
And, last question, did you skip Mavericks? Mavericks owners were given the opportunity to update iPhoto to an app store version free of charge; if you skipped it and do not have a backup or the installer DVD or purchased a new computer recently, then you'll need to purchase it. -
IPad Air Apps will not update after ios8.0.2
I Now have 17 apps that will not update after I updated my iPad Air to 8.0.2. What gives? Some apps are stuck in mid update, so i can't use them. My wifi works. I have restored my iPad twice using iTunes. I have plenty of empty storage. I have reset my iPad. I'm out of ideas.
I have been having the same problem but was able to get around it by updating the apps in iTunes on my Mac then syncing my iPad to iTunes on my Mac. Certainly not an elegant solution but until Apple gets this fixed it is the only way I have found to get updated Apps.

Final Cut Pro will not update after new os and compressor will not run until the update is done. System shows no updates available
Sorry for being unclear.
When I am using the update in the App Store App, there will be a list of various applications that have updates to be installed (Final Cut Pro will be in this list). I will already be logged in with the Apple ID I use for everything (my dev account). I will be able to update all of the other various applications needing updating except for my Final Cut Pro. When I click the update button next to the FCP update, it will give me an error saying "This download is not available for this apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled"
I have not had any applications refunded or cancelled and this has only happened since my update to Yosemite. FCP was working fine until the upgrade. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? -
I have an ipad mini, i took a videoand then it was deleted. 2 other videos where taken right after it was deleted. How can I recover the deleted video please!!!!! There was no backup done as I was not in wifi at the time.

All of my music was deleted. What do I do?
My sister was an absolute genius and deleted all of my music. What do I do?
Do I have to re-download all 1,500 songs over again? Is there a way I can keep the songs on my iPod and still have them updated (for play count, etc) when I update my iPod?
P.S. I'm really obsessive compulsive about the play counts of each song and although my music was deleted, I've continued to use my iPod so the play counts have changed. I don't know what to do about that either.Deleted from where exactly?
If the music is still on your iPod, try a 3rd party program like CopyPod.
It transfers music from iPod to computer and preserves playcounts, ratings etc.
