Playlist Order vs Track Number

Does anybody know of a way to have a playlist play tracks in a certain order without changing the track number? I don't want to do this because some of the tracks in my playlist are from albums and changing the track number in the playlist obviously affects the source album as well.

Just click the first column heading to sort by number (not the track number column). You can then drag the tracks around to setup the play order and they will play that way.

I recently updated my computer software (iTunes included, obviously) and have come to realize that this new version does not give me the abilities that the previous versions have. I wiped my iPod clean to start from scratch, as it was full and I was hoping to put newer material on it, and when I went to load a playlist and shuffle it for playback order, I realized that the shuffle button, which is what I used before, is no longer available. How do I shuffle a playlist order or track order or whatever, within a playlist, so I could copy it to the play order and sync it to my iPod?

I'm still not sure what this option (to shuffle a Playlist and then Sync that to the iPod) was or where it was in iTunes 10. This is despite your question having been raised by other people.
Surely, since you can shuffle a Playlist on an iPod, it's not necessary to shuffle it before Syncing, is it?

Problems with itunes library and order of tracks

I downloaded the new update, and I'm having a problem with my library when accessed from the browser. Before itunes 7, my tracks were in order that they appeared on the album, now they are in alphabetical order. Is there a way to make it go back the way it was before the update--in order by track number?

I was having the same problem and I knew there had to be an easy answer. I knew it for sure when I saw your topic unanswered. Just right click, or control click on the bar where it says name, album, genre, etc. and select "track number," this will give you the option to put them in their original order.
You can also access this under "view options" in the view pull down menu.

Sad to see that people have been complaining about this since last year (although not many seem to care, which is odd). For classical music listeners it is a total slap in the face.

Why does itunes 11 not sort the songs properly unless I am in a playlist when there is no track number

I have lots of audio files that have names in the format of a Date (eg. 2012 01 23) with no track number. The old I tunes always sorted them perfectly. Now they are all out of order when I look at them under anything but if they are in a playlist.

With using any version of iTunes, whenever I import songs into my library using the "add to library" function, iTunes adds those songs in songs' alphabetical order. This is pretty annoying since it does not preserve the logical track number or album.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.
(A different rep I talked to said all iphone 6 plus pre orders had a ship date of October, all of them - I asked what Verizon is going to do when they advertised iphone 6 plus for 9/19 delivery and your telling me they never had any available - at this point he transferred me... *****)

Go to the Apple Store webpage and in the upper right go to Account and select Track an Order. There you will find the status of your order. You only get a tracking order when the items ships.

How to Grey out the field "tracking number" during change mode in the order

How to grey out the Tracking number (AFVGD-BEDNR) at Order -> Operation tab -> external tab ->tracking number.
during creation IW31 = not grey out and allow entry.
for change mode IW32 = grey out
if i set grey out at config OIOPD, it will grey out even during creation mode.

I Can not see the default value button anywhere.
I need to get the Tracking number in PO.
However when I am trying with different vendor with Pur. Org I am able to get the Tracking number in the PO but I am unable to get the Tracking number with other Vendor and Purch. org combination.

Were you sent an email or confirmation that your order has been shipped? That should have the tracking number. If there isn't one, contact the store - we are just other users here unfortunately.

Tracking Number Information in B2B sales order line item

Does anyone aware of the settings to be done to get tracking number (e.g tracking number given by DHL, Carrier Company) displayed on sales order line item.
Following steps has been followed, but we can not see the tracking number at the line item level:
Tracking the Shipping Status
You can enable customers to track the shipping status of their Web shop orders using an external shipping provider. If the external shipping agency offers shipping information on the Internet, customers can access the shipping status directly via a hyperlink from the order. This enables customers to track their delivery during the shipping process.
Prerequisites
u2022     Your appointed haulage firm offers the shipping status tracking service.
u2022     The haulage firm has assigned a bill of lading for each order and informed you of it.
Activities
1.     Call transaction VL03N in the ERP system.
2.     Choose Display <-> Change.
3.     Choose   Goto Header Partners . Enter the data of the corresponding carrier.
4.     Choose Shipment. In BillOfLad, enter the tracking number.

Most of the settings that are required to display the tracking number in the web shop are ECC dependent. The function module that gets the tracking related information in the Run Time is CRM_ISA_BASKET_STATUS_ENH.
In the above function module at line number 383 contains the relevant logic to get the tracking related information from the ECC system. At this line number the function module BAPI_XSI_GET_VTRK_G is called remotely in ECC.

Need order status and tracking number please

Long story short, I need an accurate order status and an actual UPS tracking number for my order please.
Lenovo phone support has been unavailable since yesterday, and I've spent over 12 hours on hold on the webchat so far.
I ordered a Yoga 2 Pro on Feb 5th. On Feb 11th I received a shipping notice that my order had shipped on Feb 10th. The tracking number provided is a 10-digit UPS reference number that I cannot find on the website (even when searching by reference number).
On Feb 12th, the online order status page changed to indicate that my order was delivered on Feb 11th. This is not the case, as I have yet to receive my order.
Can someone from Lenovo staff please help?

Well, I have received my laptop in the meantime, despite not having a tracking number.

Ordered 9/3 got tracking number today

Ordered my Droid X on the 3rd of September with a ship date of 9/20 and just got my tracking number and says it will be here by 4:30 tomorrow.
Looks like Verizon is getting the phones out quicker then expected.

I ordered on August 27, with a ship date of September 10, and have yet to receive a shipping notice (though I did get a confirmation email). When I log in to check my order status, it still shows it as scheduled for shipment on September 10. I'm excited to have a new phone, but I think I'm going to wait until the 10th before I start getting worried.

Does apple supply tracking number for reseller orders?

I bought an iMac exactly a week ago (Monday 23rd July) from the reseller my girlfriend works for. I managed to get everything at cost price and bought it under my company so I could write the tax off, all up managed to get $1100 off the retail price. Deal. My girlfriend gave me the order number that was sent to the reseller she works for so I could track it on the order status website, which I did. It's showing that it was shipped on the 25th July, however. There has been no tracking number update, and no carier update either. So I was curious as to whether apple even worries about updating these because it was probably ordered with a whole bunch of stuff, so to track it would mean having to track the whole shipping container etc..? Am I on the right track? Or should I be worried as to why there hasn't been an update?

HI trent, not sure, but I suspect they don't provide any Reseller Tracking, only the Reseller would/could.
