After going through two Apple 23 inch cinema displays, I threw in the towel and purchased a ViewSonic 23inch cinema display. I am very pleased with it. Absolutely none of the backlight bleed that was a problem with the Apple monitor. They accepted the return without any restocking fee, leading me to believe Apple is aware a problem exists with them.

Why is the Playlist printing function broken in version 11.2. It worked fine in 11.1

How can I re-install version 11.1? Apple has managed to break the Playlist printing function again with the version 11.2.

I am having the same problem that Bobby is having. I also had the problem when I installed 11.1. Now I am receiving a message that reads there were errors in my installation. I received instructions to re-install. The problem with that is i Tunes will not let me re-install.

In 11.0.2 playlist printing is broke AGAIN. It was broke in 11.0.0, then was fixed in 11.0.1, and now it is back to broke. Any playlists scrunch text and lines overwrite. I wish I hadn't trusted this update. Searched for information on this problem, and I believe it is universal (at least for the Windows version of iTunes). How long to iTunes 11.0.3????

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Deskjet 6940 pdf docs are printing as jumbled up letters and symbols

I have a deskjet 6940. When I print pdf docs they are a jumbled up mess of letters and or symbols. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the adobe program more than once and the problem is still ongoing.

Hi - Check out this support doc on the Adobe website. It offers a number of different solutions to this type of problem including an option to "Print as Image".

i did a software update today to 11.02 and now my playlists for jewel case dont print correctly.It prints over the top of itself

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have been unable to get into the forum and I am probably not showing as my original name. I was unable to follow the suggestion re print image as once I hit a print button everything cleared and adobe reader shut down. I was getting desperate to get a printed copy of what I had returned to the originator. So I used an old netbook machine (with Windows 7 starter) and loaded Adobe Reader 9.5 on it. I then sent the file to the netbook and opened it. The form appeared exactly as expected. When I tried to print it, the normal screens became available and I was able to print two-sided copies to my great relief. As the file behaved properly with Reader 9.5 but not with 11.0.2, I can only surmise that there is some bug in the latest version that precludes printing when opening an Adobe file of the type I had been sent.

I reported this issue with Apple and it was fixed in iTunes 11.0.1 .. however the issue has reappeared with the latest iTunes11.0.2 ...you would think they would have learnt to test this function after breaking it the first time :-|

I know I am not the only one with this problem of not being able to print CD Jewel Case without songs printing ontop of each other, but I can't understand why with this lastest release they couldn't keep the fix for this problem from the previous release from last fall. It took months for them to issue a release to fix this printing problem and now we are back to where we started from. I doubt I will ever download a new release from ITunes unless it fixes the printing problem. I know many have contacted technical support with really no help. I wish I could take all my purchases from ITunes and move to another service. Does anyone know if that is possible to move to another FREE music service? Let's hope they get this fixed soon again!! I just needed to vent and thanks for reading this.

I just up graded to the new iTunes and now when I prints playlists, they are jumbled. It's not my printer...........only happens on iTunes.

HT1923 ITunes new release does not print a playlist to my printer correctly. It will print the header, but all the songs are printed on top of each other. I didn't have this problem until I downloaded new version of ITunes. Does anyone else have this p

ITunes New Release - Printing a playlist to my printer the header prints, but the song list all print in the same place. I am able to print from any other source. Does anyone else have this problem? There is another discussion of this problem under "can't print cd jewel case inserts"--about 20 people on that page have the same problem.--I have a "band-aid" fix for anyone is in a hurry. When you go to print, choose the option "large playlist" (I think it is the last option). You can then print at least the songs that are on the playlist. Then, you can print a mosaic copy to get the album art work. Then you get out the scotch tape & tape them together! This is UNACCEPTABLE but it will do in a pinch. Someone on the other page suggests we all write in "itunes" feedback & complain.

extra info.. The print playlist works for about 12-14 lines then the printing job hangs foever?!

Printing of song lists results in unreadable mess.

Printing iTunes Jewel Case "Long Playlist" results in jumbled mess with songs printed on top of each other. For years I was able to print without such problems, From what I'm reading and hearing it's a problem that only Apple can fix. Come on man! Fix it, waht happend to the great service that Apple use to provide?

First, make a custom print template (Print dialog box->page setup->manage custom sizes). I use 3.5 X 4.5. Then, print the song list using print to pdf. Use the scale option in the page setup dialog box to make it fit your template. Get some Avery 6878 or similar shipping labels. Use MS Word mailing label wizard to print by selecting the Avery template for your label. Drag the pdf into the MS Word template & print. Stick the label on your jewel box.

IOS5 Playlist Sort Order Issue (not smart list just normal playlist)

So i cant figure out why my music wont sort thwy way i wanted to in each of my playlist. Before IOS5 i can sort my songs in my playlist to what ever i wanted and not it just stuck at oldest song added to newest song added.. i want it the other way around...
What happen apple? it was fine in the last OS... am i missing something here.
I would like the ability to sort my music any which way i want to!

Ugh.. This is driving me crazy! Yes, the adding of the rule "playlist is music" fixes this issue when you're syching an ipad or iphone, etc. BUT, that very rule causes iTunes Match to fail! So for any of my devices I have iTunes match enabled for...which is all of them now, my playlists are all jumbled. Here's an example of how weird this issue is:
On my iPad I can see my playlists. When I click on the playlist the music order seems random. I have to select a track to play. Once I've done that, I can click on the picture of the album up at the top where it lists how far into the track you are, etc. and that changes the screen to a full sized picture of the album. At the bottom of THIS screen is another playlist icon (bottom right of the screen). If I tap THAT item, suddenly my playlist is listed CORRECTLY. I can then select the first track of the playlist and tracks will play in the proper order after that.
This is absolutely insane and so opposite of Apple's "it's simple" and "it just works" mantra that it's not even funny. To play my smart playlists in order on my iPad or iphone with iTunes Match enabled, I have to select a playlist, get a track playing, change the display to show the album cover, tap the playlist icon at the bottom of THAT new display, and THEN I can select the first track in my playlist and everything is good. Something needs to be done about this. It's been an issue since iTunes Match was activated. BTW, iTunes Match won't synch smart playlists with the "playlist is music" rule selected because it says that 'playlists that reference other playlists' cannot by synched. It was crazy to have to add that rule to begin with but I could live with it. Now, there's simply no apparent way to fix the issue.

Why won't iTunes 11 play well with my printer.

I made the mistake of downloading 11 before reading feedback. I will not do that before 11.0.1. Has anybody tried this update? Have they brought the old search feature back...unless there is some way to set it back to the way it previously worked and I just haven't figured it out yet.
In addition to the loss of ease in manipulating and searching for my music, I'm having problems with iTunes communicating with my printer.
Is this unique or typical for the update? It always played well with my printer before!
Since the 11 update, my laptop crashes while waiting to print or it prints with all items of the playlist printed on top of each other in a big sploch, rendering it unreadable.
Any solutions???.

Whilst it's possible there's some obscure setting somewhere, I _really_ doubt it.
My Apple history dates back to a, then current, Mac+ and I currently do embedded [Android] fw development... so this is more of a bug report than flailing user.
