Playlists not updating automatically
I can't seem to think of a reason why this might be, but playlists are not consistently updating automatically on my iPhone 5s. For example, Recently Played usually automatically adds the songs you last played on the device but lately it doesn't always do so - sometimes it requires restarting.
I don't sync my entire iTunes library onto my phone, just a few of my playlists plus top 25 most played, Recently added and Recently played. Just now I added some more songs, synced my phone twice, yet none showed up on the Recently added playlist. Then I restarted my phone, and they were on there. Recently played also updated after the restart.
Obviously this isn't a major problem, but it's irritating and and any help would be appreciated!

ITunes: podcasts are not updating automatically
Hi,
My podcasts are not updating automatically in iTunes as they as they should.
My Mac and iTunes are running 24/7, so iTunes it always running. The update interval of the podcast is set to hourly, latest iTunes, latest Mac OS X.
The podcast actually does update if I re-start iTunes or, if I manually update the podcasts (there is always the latest 1 or 2 daily episodes of say NBC nightly news available, but not yet downloaded)... (but this is not a great solution as I am using iTunes through Plex, the Mac is mor a TV/Mediacenter for my family; Plex can access playlists and podcasts in iTunes, but obviously it cannot trigger iTunes to update, so I have to go out of Plex to update iTunes, very annoying)
How can I ge my my podcasts to be downloaded automatically by iTunes.

Time stamp does not update automatically
Hi, All. I want include the time stamp (yyyy-mo-dd-min-sec) in the file name. However, the value of the time stamp does not update automatically/synchronizes with the computer clock at each new run. I need to do it manually with the right click and update the time to the current.

What language are you using and what function are you using to get a timestamp? If the language is LabVIEW, then all you need is Get Date/Time in Seconds. If you are using a front panel Time Stamp control, then you are using the incorrect function. -

What exactly are you trying to do?
Have you been editing photos in iPhoto and want to add them to your camera rool or photo stream?
Then do exactly as the article describes, that you lonked to:
iPhoto for iOS: Photos in Camera Roll are not updated automatically with edits from iPhoto
Use iPhoto's Sharing to save a copy of the edited photo to the Caera Roll, or explain on mor e detail, what you want to do.

Dates in Events do not update automatically
After iPhoto made events out of my photo library during conversion from from iPhoto06, there are often photos from several days in one "event". I can live with that most of the time, but in several instances I split events. Unfortunately, the dates of the original, unsplit event do not update automatically. This often results in a wrong order of events. If, e.g. I take out pictures from August 10th from an event with photo dates August 10th to August 13th, the original event still shows the starting date of August 10th, and orders the event between August 9th and August 11th.
The expected behaviour would be that the starting date of the modified event would change automatically to reflect the changes. This does not occur, and, worse, there is not even a possibility to change those dates manually.
Am I missing something important here, or is this an VERY annoying bug in iPhoto08?I agree - but this is a user forum and we can NOT fix anything - only try to help either follow the correct procedures of (as in this case) identify a work around to use until Apple fixes the problem.
As far as I know the work around of creating a new event form one photo and moving the remaining photos to the new event is the ONLY way arround this problem right now.
Using the work around will accomplish what you need even though it should not be necessary. Complaining about on this forum will not accomplish anything - compalining directly to Apple might -- iPhoto menu ==> Provide iPhoto Feedback.

Passbook does not update automatically
passbook not updating automatically i have to go to each app and manually add updates.
The only updates are those of amounts for Starbucks, since that is the only one I can comment on. Is that what you are referring to, is the amount, or the number of cards? You didn't answer my other question. If you update the amount in your card, either by purchase to decrease, or reloading to increase, it is those amounts that are not updating? Is this correct? If you purchase a new card, it will not automatically be added to Passbook, you have to manually add it. Since I don't have the Cub foods app, can we just concentrate on Starbucks, since I have it and use it regularly. I will be able to understand what you are doing and maybe not doing that way. To be honest, at this point, I'm still not sure exactly what you are doing.

Recently added playlists not updating
Am getting quite frustrated. My recently added is fine on iTunes on the computer but via match on my Apple TV it's not showing recent added songs. It's like the playlist stopped updating as any songs added in last 10 days are not showing on the playlist. They are showing in the main library on my Apple TV so it's just the playlist. I created a similar smart playlist called recently purchased with similar rules, only diff is songs must of been purchased and this is behaving exactly the same in that any songs added last ten days are not on it. Sonething is working because I changed the rule to must if been added in last thirty days and it updated Apple TV playlist in as much as it then displayed a lot more songs in recently added going back that far but still none if the very recent ones in last ten days
Why is it not mirroring itunes and updating - any else see the same?I've been having this same exact issue since updating my iPhone to iOS 8.2 - didn't experience this issue prior to that. I normally sync my phone via wifi, and I thought that might not be working. But just connected my phone directly to my computer, and still experiencing the same issue (playlists not updating).
Until Apple can fix this bug, the only workaround I've found that actually works is this - on your iOS device, go into settings and then scroll down to the Music sub-section and open that up. There is a slider called "iTunes Match". I turned it off, waited a second or two, and then turned it back on. At least for me, that seems to cause a proper sync to happen, without causing any side effects. Again, that's my personal experience. -
Why is my playlist not updating as i type in the search window anymore?
why is my playlist not updating to reflect what i type on the search window anymore? just searches in the same window as you type i want it to reflect and show location on my plylist instead as it did before.
I have code within the FLA, but I am also using .as files (with classes and such). The code does not update when I try to use it, or will not run. Currently I am getting 4 errors, all of which were related to syntax and have been fixed. I know this because I hit the check mark button at the top of code field and it confirmed that all syntax is okay. I believe the error may be due to a lack of understanding on my part regarding the source path and document classes.
For example: I am using the code found here: http://www.learningactionscript3.com/download/45/ in the particle_system folder. My .as files and SWF are set up exactly the same as theirs, the example, but I can run theirs without error and mine with a perpetual 4 errors at runtime no matter how I fix it. I have made sure that the source path leads to the .as files being used ("Particle" and "ParticleDemo"), and confirmed that it should work by hitting the check mark next to the Document Class under Advanced ActionScript 3.0 Settings.
Edit: So in short, yes, I run the SWF and my code not update. If I close out of Flash and open it up again with the same SWF and .as files, then it works. However, this is an extremely inefficient thing to do. I am thinking that maybe downgrading down to CS5 may do the trick, but not sure if it's worth the time. -
RG1 is not Updating Automatically

RG1 is not updating automatically in the system due to data migration on cutoff date since February; they are maintaining parallel in the legacy system (in Excel or any other), though here is updated project from 5.0 to 6.0.
I am unable to understand, how the system is going on in the lacking of this.
From Accounts Department side: Still Cenvat duty posting & statement (57AE) are done manually by dispatch/stores department. As per ECC6, system generated report should be available to the end users to avoid duplicate work & mistake.
As per observation from SD side _no Opening Balance is uploaded while data migration_.
I have got information through SDN about table J_2IRG1BAL but I am unaware of using this.
Please provide me complete solution for this to do the needful instead of OSS Notes.

Dataset not updating automatically

I have a graph that is dynamic. I already have a variable set up and also a dataset. This file is saved.
Basically, I am trying to write some code that will open the document, import the variable file (with the new data from the xml file) and then update the graph.
Using the code below, the file opens and also the import of the variables is succesful. However, the graph is not updating automatically. I need to actually select the value from the dropdown in the variables window. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Smart playlists not updating live after 3.0 upgrade
I have a smart playlist: 'songs I've not played in a while'. Before the upgrade, if i had 100 songs in the playlist and played one, the playlist would update and the next time I'd access it I'd have 99 songs in it. however, after upgrading the playlist is not updating itself. It will stay at 100 songs and the only way to make it update itself is to sync with itunes. The placounts etc are all being remembered, but my playlist is no longer updating by itself.
Help! What can I do to fix this?First, downgrading the firmware is not something that Apple will support, so if something does go wrong (not likely, but remotely possible) you could end up with a device that does not work.
Second, in order to downgrade to an earlier version of firmware, you have to already have it on your computer. If you never did a firmware update prior to installing 3.0, then you don't have a 2.x firmware on your computer to install. While you might be able to find a copy of 2.x, there have been reports of problems with the copies people are finding. But if you ever did a firmware update, say from 2.2 to 2.2.1 then you would have 2.2.1 on your computer already. If that's the case, then follow these instructions:
1- Connect your Touch to your computer and put it into "DFU mode" (Google that for instructions). Getting into DFU mode is a little tricky to get the timing just right, so pay attention to the instructions and what to look and listen for.
2- iTunes will tell you that the Touch needs to be restored to factory conditions (this is expected). Instead of clicking the Restore button, hold down the SHIFT key as you click Restore (on a Mac I think it's Option-Restore). You'll see a navigation window for you to locate the firmware. Navigate your way to where the firmware is stored on your computer, which on a PC is:
C:\Documents and Settings\(account name)\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates
(on a Mac these files are located at: ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates)
Select the proper .ipsw file for your device. For 2.2.1 the file is "iPod2,12.2.1_5H11aRestore.ipsw"
3- Your Touch will go through the Restore process. When you get to the point where you choose to re-load your last backup or set up the Touch as a new iPod, choose the new iPod selection since the backup contains 3.0-specific information that may not work with earlier firmware.
4- You'll then have to re-load your Touch's contents, including music, video, web links, settings preferences, etc.
