Playlists scrambled with Match in new iPhone 6

Itunes match has totally scrambled my carefully organized playlists and spewed them all over my new iPhone...have Match and re-synced to store/cloud several times....its made my music a mess...
See playlist stricture on itunes on my computer versus how it looks on my phone (50 or 60 playlists shoved out and spread around main menu...

iTunes Match is a subscription system that allows you to upload your own music (e.g. coped from CDs) to the cloud so that it shows (in the cloud) on your devices and computers without having to sync/copy it.
Automatic downloads allows to, for example, buy an app on your computer's iTunes and have it automatically download on your phone without having to connect and sync it or go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your download and download it yourself - but doing that, going to the Purchased tab and redownloading an app, should get it associated.
But no, I'm not aware of any problems that not having it associated causes.

When we talk about the size of a program or operating system we mean the size of the Code division. The Data division will be of variable size, and can change dynamically. So the size of iOS when you download it is the size of the code. Other includes the data division of iOS, plus the data divisions of all apps that come bundled with iOS, plus the Safari cache, plus all email messages, plus all texts, plus all contacts, plus all calender events, plus all notes, plus all reminders, plus the music catalog, plus album art, plus data used by the iTunes & App stores, plus data used by the Genius feature, pus data used by Game Center, plus data used by Apple Maps (but not Google maps if you have it), plus a few things I've probably forgotten about.
Immediately after a new phone is activated, or after it is restored as new, Other still contains the data divisions of iOS. And if you have logged in to the iTunes and App stores during setup it contains the information from your account for those apps. And if you have logged in to iCloud it contains all of your iCloud contacts, calendar events, notes, reminders and email.
I've explained this several different ways. I'm not going to try again.

What do you mean they do not match? Are the songs wrong, are the names of the playlists wrong, are they not all synced? Do you have iTunes set to sync all songs and playlists?

Mesh data in old iPhone with data in new iPhone}

Hello!
How might one mesh the data in an old iPhone with the data in a new iPhone?
I made the mistake of using my new iPhone for a while before transferring a backup from my old iPhone to my new iPhone. I was hoping to find a way to selectively transfer data to reduce the possibility of transfering gremlins that have built up in the old phone for the past three years. Now there's a bunch of important data on the new iPhone that will get deleted if I do the restore process with iTunes.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Problems with SMS after new iPhone update

After downloading the new iPhone update my SMS messages started getting scrambled up. A few of my friends that also own iPhones are having the same problem and i was curious if there are others out there? And also if there is going to be anything done about it?

What to do with a defective NEW iPhone 5c?

I just recently purchased an iPhone 5C - it was shipped to me October 1. And I immediately knew I was sent a defective unit. First and foremost, the button is not working--the only way I've been able to navigate it is throught the assistive touch and by literally forcing the button 'till my thumb hurts. Second of all, the battery kept dying on me---and is still dying on me for the last 10 days that it's been with me. What I mean by this is, I'll have it charged to 100% and by 70% it shuts down. I repeatedely try to turn it on and it will say that it has no more battery on it. But once I charge it, it says that it's 70% -- but then it dies again. This has been pretty much the situation for the last 10 days. This is supposed to be a new product right? But I don't think I was actually given a new one. I've been researching on how to have this phone replaced. But I can't seem to figure it out. Hope someone here can help!

Problem with setting up new iphone

Hi,
I recently upgraded my iphone form a 3 to 4S. I backed up my old phone before connecting one. I followed all the steps I should have but it has not worked. The back up has worked for my calender and notes and contacts but mu music and aps have not trasnferred across. I have tried to complete a normal sync after this but cannot navigate to the sync options. It just keeps asked me to chose my new phone back up options all over again.
Any ideas???

It says on the iCloud support website that, if some of the files in your backup was from another apple ID (example: your cousin sent you music attached to her account), you are required to provide the password to that account. A potential fix is to contact the person who has that account and ask them for their password (which will only work if you know that person).
I am running into the problem that I can no longer contact the person whose account password I need, and thus the popup to sign them in keeps appearing every time I open up the phone.
I am going to the apple store to try to figure out my problem, and will post an update in a few days with their solution.

I am new to the Iphone and for the life of me I am not able to download ANY apps to my phone. I have tried what I think is everything, but I'm sure I am missing something. I have have changed my setting to try and download off the cellular network, I have tried to download from my home network, I have tried at different locations, and nothing seems to be working. I have not been able to download anything.

Make sure your wifi is good on another device, go into the App Store app, tap Search to find a specific app, typethe name of the app after touching the text feild at the top, press Search, tap an app, press the button that says FREE or $.99, etc. then press it again to INSTALL. Now you wait for the download to end.
Unfortunately this process maychange this fall when the big App Store renovation hits, of course you have to choose to upgrade (for free). STAY LOYAL ...lol, I creep myslef out sometimes.

Problems with Itunes on new Iphone and I touch

When I try to use synch my Iphone 5 and my daughters Ipod Touch, I get an error message saying i need ITunes version 10.7 or later, so I go to download it but I get another error message "requires Mac OS X Version 10.6.8".
I've checked and it seems my current version is 10.5.8. What are my options pls? , as when I do software updte check none are available.

if he cant do it from his computer but he had ios5 before and setup icloud backup...factory reset back to out of the box. then restore from icloud...or reset and set up as a new phone and a new owner on your computer.

I have two problems with my brand new iphone 3gs...

The first question I have is how do I get my phone to accept photos in text messages? I can send them but not receive them.
Second, I keep having No Service on my phone when my husband can be sitting beside me and have service on his. We both have Telus as a provider and he has an iphone 4 and I have the 3GS. Anyone else encounter similar issues? Thanks. I just got this phone so it's frustrating.

I did have one on it, and I thought the same thing since then I have took the case off. Didn't help. The Apple phone support tech even asked if the on off button was stuck and had me press it, so I did and you can feel it push in and release fine.

New iPhone no longer syncs with iTunes or charges via MacBook

seen that there are quite a few varied posts concerning iPhones that aren't syncing but none that have the exact problem that I've currently got, which is:
I have a week old iPhone 3GS, I have connected it to my mac a couple of times and it worked and charged fine via the usb cable, however it is now not doing anything when attached, if the handset is turned of it automatically turns on but doesn't show that it is charging or syncing.
I have followed all of the trouble shooting advice via mac support but still no joy, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I was hoping that my new toy was going to be a little more user friendly than this, I'm an experienced Mac user and am a little dismayed at problems so early into the honeymoon period with my shiny new iPhone.
