Playlists song all have different levels

I have noticed that since moving over to a mac from a wondows laptop, itunes playlists in my ipod are all at different levels.
Plus should I consolidate my library? Will it double up the coverage on my harddrive?

When you write 'different levels' I presume you mean different volumes?
If this is the case, check that the iTunes Sound Check option is set on your Mac: goto iTunes -> Preferences, click on the Playback section and tick the box labelled 'Sound Check'. When you next transfer songs to your iPod, the Sound Check settings will come across too.

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

Please help.

Anyone else at your university complaining about the same thing? It is more likely someone is stealing passwords by sniffing traffic over the university wifi or with a man-in-the-middle attack or by other means external to your phone. Try a Google search on "steal password" (without quotes) or "steal SSL password" and you'll learn more than you wanted to know about how passwords get stolen.

All my songs are at different levels

when i hook my nano to the boat system each song has a different volume so im constantly changing the volume settting, how can i get a base volume setting ?

Use the soundcheck feature to level out the volume somewhat.
Apply it in iTunes using the edit/preferences/playback menu (Windows).
iTunes/preferences/playback (Macs).
Turn it on on the iPod using the settings/soundcheck/on menu.
After applying it in iTunes, sync your iPod to reflect the changes made.
There are 3rd party programs that do this more effectively (at least in my opinion).
For Windows there is mp3Gain.

This petition is to have Zen Players to include different levels of backlight lighting so it does not deplete the battery as quickly. Also this is for EAX to be put in from Zen Micro and other zen players. Plus a new battery life extention in the firmware.

I have created a playlist of songs from a particular group
however when I play the list or burn a CD of the playlist the
volume levels go up and down. How do I get them to play and
burn a CD closer to the same volume level?

Have you tried soundcheck? There is a sound check tick box in Edit>>Preferences>>playback.
When you select a playlist for burning the is also a sound check tick box on the burn preferences popup.
I haven't used either myself.

Do you mean you all have different AppleIDs? But, do you also have different user accounts on the computer?
Simplest thing is just give everyone their own user account on the computer - they log into their account and sync their devices from only their account. Keeps everything separate and neat.

Essbase cubes with different levels of detail - OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 on LINUX

Hi all,
I have BSO and ASO cubes which contain broadly the same information, but with the ASO cube at much higher detail. For simplicity sake, they only have 1 dimension, and 1 fact. The dimension a date and is structured like:
Gen2 = year
Gen3 = year & quarter
Gen4 = year & month
Gen5 = year, month & day
Only the ASO cube has Gen5. the BSO cube only has the information to Gen4 level.
I've imported them both into the RPD and dragged the ASO cube across into the BMM. and then taken the fact column from the BSO cube and dropped it onto the BMM, selected its new source ( the BSO cube ) and set the
Content tab and set the logical level as Gen4.
I then dragged the key items from the BSO date hierachy onto the date dimension in the BMM.
I purposely had a slightly different date hierachy and data content in the 2 cubes so I could tell where it was getting the data from.
If I select the year only...it gets the value from the BSO, and if I drill down to quarter and month it also gets the dates from the BSO cube.
If I select the data fact, it will switch to the ASO cube and retrieve the value from there.
Same applies if I select just the year - data comes in from the ASO cube.
So my question is this, how do I get it to select the data facts from the less detailed cube when the details is not required and only switch to the ASO cube when the extra detail is needed?

Playlist songs converted to 1 of 1 status

Since a recent upgrade, all of my playlist songs are showing "1 of 1" and only play 1 song at a time. The songs all have a check in front of them so that is not the problem. My playlists are now worthless since I have to push a button for every single song! Help.

Chris, thanks for the hint. sadly, when I did that all of my playlists already had the "no" option enabled so that doesn't look like the root of the problem. It seems when others had this issue it was always related to the check boxes but again, mine all all "checked".

IMac, iPad, iphone emails all with different names when sent?

Recently, my emails sent all have different names other than mine , I.E. when I use [email protected], my name is Stephen... After I Sent it, different names appears in "from" I.E. Sam's, Southwest Rewards, etc etc ??? I am extremely puzzle. Can someone help?? Tibia just crazy and weird??

Can't play songs that have a "old" account name?

i have a number of songs that have different account names.... some have my user name and then some have my user name plus "@.mac.com" at the end of the name... the ones without the @mac.com will not play? any ideas?

I'd suggest you start a new topic with your issue (use the "Post a new topic" link at the top of each main topic page).
