Plays previous played podcasts over and over again

Hello,
I like the new feature in update 1.1 for the nano to play podcasts in sequence order. However I have found that it plays the podcasts over and over once played. Also if there are two podcasts in the group and I start with the first one it plays the second one after finishing the first one which I would expect. When it start playing the first one again(which I did not expect) for the second twice if I check the nano interface the second podcast still shows the blue dot indicating it was never played. If I sync up with iTunes the blue dot is removed and it shows a play count of one.
Any idea what is up with this?

I am not seeing this.
Can you run through what your settings are? Go into the settings screen and then go into music and general and check to see what your settings might be to explain this.
Also, if you go into settings and at the bottom select to reset settings, it would likely solve the issue.
I know in my case, I have the default settings going and it is working correctly.

It sounds like you have paired a Jawbone Icon bluetooth device to your iPad mini, but you do not hear audio through it.
First, take a look at the AirPlay setting in Control Center to make sure that the iPad mini is sending audio to the device:
Open Control Center. Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen (even the Lock screen).
Stream content. Tap the AirPlay button , then choose the device you want to stream to.

If this option is set to the Jawbone, but no audio is heard, try these troubleshooting steps:
Follow these steps first:
Check that you are in range of the Bluetooth accessory with which you are trying to pair your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Most Bluetooth accessories have a range of approximately 30 feet.
On your iOS device, tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your device in the list. If your device says Not Connected, tap the name of your accessory to attempt to connect it.
Tap Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power.
Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is in pairing mode.1
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Bluetooth and locate the Bluetooth accessory you are currently connected to or attempting to connect to. Then tap and "Forget this Device". Try to pair your Bluetooth accessory again.
You may need to enter your Bluetooth accessory PIN again if your accessory requires one. Some common PINs are 0000, 1111, and 1234.
Restart your Bluetooth accessory by turning it off and then on again1.

Previously downloaded podcasts prompt to download again on iPhone

Whenever I sync my iPhone to iTunes, my previously downloaded podcasts get removed. Any podcast that was downloaded prior to the sync prompts to download again when I go to play it (which is typically when I commute and I don't have wifi access). Unfortunately, I have one podcast that requires me to sync via iTunes. Otherwise, all the others sync great with the podcasts app. I am hoping there is a setting that is causing this issue. Any help would be appreciated!

How do I play podcasts sequentialy and continously? (Bug/Feature?!)

My new 5th generation Nano plays one podcast, then stops.
I have to actively click on the menu to start a new one.
It is really annoying and dangerous on top of it.
If I am listening to a podcast from one source, lets say the economist, and driving in my car I have to click on this ** thing every 5-15 minutes..... this is totally insane!
I got the iPod because of the Apple's great reputation for usability but I guess I will have to look for alternatives since this issue seems to be around since ages: http://www.danandchoka.net/?p=50
Please tell me that people have come up with a "workable" fix which does not involved editing and creating some play lists all the time.

Library Copies and Podcast Entries and Files

I had two iTunes Library directories on separate volumes with identical sets of files. I followed the directions about "Using multiple iTunes libraries" from iTunes help without realizing there is also a Preferences setting for the iTunes Library location. When I looked at the second iTune library through iTunes after switching to it. I had no list of Podcasts and the Podcast files were not visible. When I re-subscribed to one Podcast and downloaded the files, I got duplicate copies of the files in its folder under Podcasts in the iTunes Library. Why does this happen? Is there a recovery path so I can use the previously downloaded Podcast files and Podcast settings?

Are you saying you split your profile between C and D drive, perhaps through specifying a location in the account settings.
BTW.
*.mozmsgs useless duplicate files created for windows search integration. Simply wasted space on the disk.
*.sbd a folder indicating the presence of a sub folder (contains no mail at all.

Since the lastest update, videos will no longer play. They start and stop over and over again.

Turn off repeat.

You may want to do a Restore on the shuffle in iTunes. The Restore button is on the shuffle's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the shuffle, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If it's a software or data corruption glitch, the Restore should fix it. After the Restore, reload or resync your songs, and try it again. As a test, you may want to initially select a small number of songs to put back on the shuffle.

Itunes only plays the selection over and over again. It won't move to the next song.

I have an iphone GS3 and it works fine other than in itunes. I can select any song and it palys that song over and oveer again and won't move on to play the next sone. I have rebooted several times but nothing helps. I see nothing in the general settings that would account for this. Can anyone help?

You have repeat on.

Genius Mixes: Mine keep playing the same songs over and over again!

Am I doing something wrong? I constantly update my Genius but each of my mixes continually play the same exact (like 20) songs over and over again! It's so annoying!
Also, is there anyway to change up the mixes? For instance, if I don't like the mix (aka I don't like the bands that the mix was based off of) can I change it and have iTunes base the mix on some other bands?

This problem can be solved selecting manually the video resolution.

ITunes plays the same song over and over again.

I have created several playlists on my Itunes for Windows. I want the songs to play at Random...but it plays the same song over and over again. If I hit the random button, it will play a different song, but it will then play that song over and over and over again. So, if I want to go to the next song, there is always a requirement that I manually set it to the next song.
It's odd because I have been using Itunes while listening to music on my computer and this never happened before.
Any thoughts?

Ok i can play one song but if im trying to shuffle thru to another song it just starts the song over again that was just playing. I hope someone can offer some solution...

Under Settings > Repeat, does it say anything other than "Off"? On the iPod Classic, the options are "Off," which plays the current playlist through once, "One," which plays the current song repeatedly, and "All," which repeats the current entire playlist.
