Company is supplying machine and with that it also supply no of Tools at extra cost.while displaying in the report, they want to display seperately under seperate heads.
For ex
First header
Sr.no, Rating,Voltage ratio,winding,Ex-works price per unit
Second Header
Sr.No,Optional Accessories,Rates per unit

If the Optional Accessories are also items and if they are entered along with your regular items in the Sales Quote, you would create a additional repetitive area and add a formula field to repetitive area0 and repetitive area1.
There would need to be an idendifier for the optional goods (example: a specific item group, or any other value in the item master uniquely identifying the optional goods)
You will then add this unique identifier field to both repetitive areas
In your formula field on repetitive area0 you will check if the unique field is not equal to value identifying optional goods and in the repetitive area1 you will check if the the unique identifier field matches a specific value.
Last step would be to link all fields (use link to in the field properties) in the repetitive area0 to the formula field on repetitive area0 and link all fields in repetitive area1 to the formula field on repetitive area1

Email text not displaying normally / links within email not functioning

All of a sudden, emails are not displaying normally; symbols and numbers are interspersed within words of emails, no graphics, no functioning links within emails on my BlackBerry Curve 8530. Verizon Wireless suggested I upgrade to a different phone. That's helpful.

Have you sent HTML emails to GMAIL, HOTMAIL and YAHOO accounts successfully before? Are those services capable of handling HTML formatted email? Not all email clients can handle that type of email.

What is the difference between a trading good and a finished good?
My business contracts the manufacturing of surfboard to third party manufacturers. We then distribute the surfboards out as our product to customers. Would you describe our surfboards as a trading good or a finished good?

First of all, I am not sure which is the right forum for this question
Coming to your query, a trading goods can be a finished goods or semi finished goods but not all finished goods can be treated as a trading goods. Hope you got the difference.
From manufacturers point of view, whatever they produce and sell, it can be treated as a finished goods. Whatever they procure and sell, that can be treated as a trading goods.

Flush displayed ALV and display normal posting messages on same screen

Hi,
I have a requirement wherein i have displayed ALV with execute button on same screen with FI data displayed in ALV.
Now when user select one particular row and excute it , the requirement is to flush that ALV displayed and display normal
message such as POSTING DONE
How can i achieve it ? I am using REUSE_ALV_LIST

What do you mean by "Now when user select one particular row and excute it "???
Meaning you do some event like double clicking on that particular row or after selecting it, you will trigger some button?
For 1st condition, make sure you've created an ALV event.
If 2nd one, either you create/modify the ALV toolbar.
Then you can do a simple call screen to exit from that ALV. Or a simple pop up message.

Photos on the phone in the DCIM folder are those located in the camera roll. Photos that are synced to the phone from the computer cannot be accessed in this manner. They are synced and the only way to manage them is to connect the phone, go to the photos tab and un-select the folders you want to remove or go into the folder photos are located in and remove the photos you no longer want to sync. Then sync the phone and the photos will be removed.

Can Not Display Normal Chinese Chars in JSP

Hi,
I am displaying some chinese chars in a normal JSP file but it show me some
funny things. If I get the data from the oracle and the information is chinese,
then it display correctly. And I try another thing that I save the noraml JSP
(without any java code) to a html and it is working fine. Same content, if saved
as HTML, then ok. If saved as JSP, then got problem. I am using weblogic 6.1.
There are somewhere need to be configure or... Any idea for this? Thank you

object?In the past, I've carried the font file around with me. Given the number of graphics files, properties files and
other assorted garbage that apps are already carrying around, it's not too unreasonable to have to add a
TrueType font to the list of hangers-on (unless it's the size of Arial Unicode MS - 23Mb is a big ask sometimes)!
Given that TrueType fonts themselves are essentially platform-independent, I don't see it as too much of an issue. But that's just me and my experiences! ;-)

In the Production Order, Sales Quotation is displayed not the Sales Order

Hello to All,
I need a kind help from you.
My scenario is as follows
There is a Configurable Material (Finished Product)
Sales quotation (VA21/2/3) were made for this material.
Sales Order (VA01/2/3) with reference from the Sales Quotation were made for this same material.
Now when I run the MRP (MD02) for this material, Planned Orders were created.
Planned orders were converted to the Production Order.
In the Production Order (say in Display mode), under the 'General' tab, there is a segment called 'Sales order'. In this segment, the sales order is being displayed if the Production Order is created for a sales order (MTO scenario).
But, in my case, the Sales Quotation number is being displayed instead of the Sales order.
My Issue which need your answers:
Is it a standard SAP scenario?? I mean, if the production order is created for a sales order and again if the sales order is created earlier with reference to a sales quotation, then in the production order, the Sales quotation is displayed. Is it a standard?? Or it is showing wrongly? I mean, is it like that, always the sales order should be displayed in the Production order and not the sales quotation??
Please suggest so that I can overcome this problem, if at all it is a problem.
Some More Inputs (For your analysis/research):
1. After the MRP run of the material the Planned Order is created. I have checked the planned order, and found tha the assignment of sales document (in this case Quotation) is done in the Planned order itslef. It is visible wthin the "Assigmnet" tab of the Planned Order.
2. For the analysis purpose, I created one stand-alone Sales Order for the same material. I mean, without reference from any Sales Quotation. Then, when I run the MRP (md02), the Planned Order and then production order were created normally, with reference to the Sales order. This just for your kind information.
3. I have checked the pegged requirement of the Production order in the MD04. It is showing the Sales order itself. But, if I see the production order (CO02/O03), it shows sales quotation.
User Requirement:
Evenif, the sales order is created with reference to a Sales Quotation, after MRP run, in the Planned and thereby subsequent production order, the Sales Order should display and not the Sales quotation.
Please suggest.

Since your scenario is configurable material, the system takes the reference of sales quotation only. Because the in case of configurable materials the sales quotation is the base and based on the sales quotation the sales order is created and subsequent production order.
This is std SAP and for configurable materials the sales quotation is deciding factor

Powerbook 17" display issues: posterization and other psychedelia

Hello,
My Powerbook 17" has, since it's purchase in June 2005, a problem with the display that occurs periodically whereby the display suddenly posterizes and becomes extremely hard to read. I have found that adjusting the display angle, that is, moving the Powerbook display hinge can make it worse or can cause it to revert to normal. It seems to me that there is a short in or interference with the wiring that must pass through this junction. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their Powerbook 17"?

Your PowerBook is the same generation as the one most people are complaining about, although the majority of affected users that have been reporting the problem have machines that were manufactured around the end of the first quarter of 2005 at the factory described as W8 in Shanghi. There are ways to find out if yours is one of these machines by doing some web searching. Stating site names here my go against Apple's usage policies for this discussion board ... sorry, but info is easy to find with a little searching.
I am glad to hear that you have not as yet experienced the dreaded lines or blanked-out areas. It is still a good idea to call Apple Care and get a case number if you have not already. Explain your problem and they may be able to help. Even if there is nothing they can do, your problem will be registered. This case number may come in handy if heaven forbid your machine starts developing more severe screen problems. Good luck!

I have several calendars that are under my user name in Google. They all work as delegates and life is good.
I'm trying to set up the local school with a calendar for the sports schedule as well as a separate one for district events like school board meetings and would like to be able to add one for the holidays, exams and things of that nature. The sports calendar works but I can't figure out how to add the second caledar to iCal or my iPhone. It shows shared but doesn't appear as a possible delegate in iCal and will not load on the iPhone.
Google has the output to allow more than one calendar to display on a website but syncing at the level I want with the "i" apps isn't obvious.
Am I missing something? I really don't want one very cluttered master calendar for the school. Being able to turn on and off the various types of calendar will make it much easier to manage.

My Upgrade to Froyo Experience: The Good and the Bad.

I received a phone call that Verizon was pushing Froyo out, so I was happy, got home from work and started the download, It stated a size of 100 MB and an estimated download time of 15 minutes. The first clue that things may not be quite right was the 45-50 minutes it took to download. I tried to install and within 30 seconds my little droid friend gave up and told me update failed. I tried twice more same results and gave up that night.
Next day during a break I stopped in what I thought was an ideal area my 3g reception was at a max 5 bars and downloaded the update in 16 minutes, Again my little droid friend quit after 30 seconds, again the update failed, reason previous update failed. Yes, I am very disappointed but I have to make a living, so back to work. Later same day I called Verizon Tech support and I am told to do a Factory Reset: Beware when you do this your phone goes back to the state it was in when you opened the new box it came in, you have nothing; EXCEPT THE CONTENTS OF YOUR SD CARD REMAINS INTACT.
I tried to install and again my little droid friend got tired after 30 seconds, now I have lost everything in my phone but I also know it is inevitable because the phone is "cursed". I went to Verizon after work, early evening and put my phone in the hands of a very courteous and helpful Verizon man. He said: Please be patient, I will take care of you. I was really tired after a hard day's work so I found a comfortable chair and dozed off, the A/C was really cold and it felt great. When he returned he handed me a new phone and said, I am sorry for the delay your old phone was defective, I already installed your contacts and then together we reinstalled my paid apps and set up my email accounts.I walked out with my new phone with Froyo and was finally feeling better. Since then I have systematically been testing the phone's functions and have being happily surprised with the improvements both small and large:
GPS locks under 1 minute every time.
Flash works very well in almost 100% of the sites I chose for testing.
Phone is faster during transitions, searches and OS functions.
Average Quadrant Score Before: 890 After 990.
Camera and Recorder have added little features that are nice, try it and you will see,
The extra fonts are nice, but for my poor eyesight original is best.
Battery life remains a question mark, my normal pattern was phone on for 12 hours, light to medium use I return home with 60-70% left. My first full Froyo day was yesterday and I was trying to restore my "looks", apps and testing everything I could think of. With what I consider to be heavy usage I came home after 11 hours with 41% remaining in my battery, it seems to me acceptable.
I will update this post as I discover both good and bad, so far life after Froyo has been all positive.

I like the new notification background and the ability to turn mobile data off and auto rotation if I like
I like how when receiving text messages it notes a count on the icon as to how many new are there
Not sure if this was the way it was before but in contacts if I swipe a contact in the list horizontally it brings up a quick call or email icon. Kind of cool
New scene modes for dawn, dusk and such is nice in the camera
having a timer icon in the camera menu is pretty cool also
Ability to limit video for MMS option is very nice
Not to mention the fact that I can now take pictures much easier in both portrait and landscape orientation
I can view pics in a stack by thumbnail or by month the pic was taken.
Having the ability to add a numerical PIN screen password is also a nice feature
Did a benchmark test and now getting 51 fps after Froyo. Best 48.7 fps prior on my device
Still playing and trying to figure out a few things but will touch back. Hope you all enjoy the upgrade.

Are you referring to the Date and Time some cameras put right on the image? If so there is nothing really good in iPhoto to do this. You could try the Retouch tool and see how that looks but I think you will need something more precise and powerful, like the clone tool in Aperture.
Also something like PhotoShop or GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program (free) should do what you want also.

My iPhone 4 fails to restore. Using iTunes, at step 3 of 4, displays "Restarting Sync" and goes to step 1 of 4, and then forever.

It all started with a blank screen on a frozen iPhone. Doing the sleep and home button reset seemd to solve the problem, but then the apple logo started to show in the middle of calls, and finally, mail, camera, facebook and pulse apps failed to start, returning to the home screen after a few seconds. So it looked like a restore with ITunes was the solution. I was able to back up the iPhone. The restore process sems to start fine, but the process cycles forever, at step 3 of 4, display "Restarting Sync" and goes again. It seems it can´t pass from step 3.
I have tried doing the restore from recovery mode with the same result. IOS is 6 and ITunes is 10.7.
An interesting thing, is that as I kiled the restore process and disconnected the iPhone from the USB cable connected at the Mac Book and then used the phone as "Normal" it seemed that all the data and settings where restored, but not the apps; camera and mail keep failing to start, but the interesting thing is that the battery drains very quickly, in a matter of 4 hours.
Any suggestions or ideas will be very welcomed.

Try Recovery Mode:
1. Start iTunes.
2. Plug phone into a USB port on the computer, not an external hub or keyboard port.
3. Press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes detects the phone in Recovery Mode.
4. Follow the prompts to restore.
If recovery mode doesn't work, you likely have a hardware problem that needs service/replacement
