Go to the "Documents" view (From a document, tap "Documents" or "Recents" in the toolbar and then choose "Documents"). Then, tap "Edit" and you will see a folder with a "+" in it. You can add a folder here. Subsequently, you can tap "Edit" and use the move button (the folder with the arrow in it) to move a document to your new folder.

Add ability to create bookmarks within iOS app

It would be great to have the ability to create bookmarks within the iOS reader app. That way I can go directly from a PDFs download via website/Dropbox and not have to first edit the document on my computer to add any bookmarks.

My main email address linked to the mail app in my iPad is with Yahoo. When I add a test group on my iCloud, my iPad keeps asking for my Yahoo password repeatedly and no sync seems to have taken place. Can't understand why. Might have to troubleshoot a little bit more.
I agree that it is a pain to add a group of names individually and I generally use the Gmail on the notebook for the Gmail app - much easier and faster too.
It appears that the standard mail app is geared towards individual personal mail rather than for professional use. Even then...it could have been better.

LR 5.7.1 will not create folders on a network connected Drobo.

LR 5.7.1 on IMac2 (OS 10.9.5) will not create a folder an a Drobo that is USB connected to IMac1 (OS 10.10.2). The two IMacs are ethernet connected through a router. When attempting to create a folder on the Drobo from LR on IMac2 an error message from LR is displayed: "Could not complete the folder move. The folder named “2014” could not be created." A folder cannot be uniquely created from LR on the Drobo. Folders can be created on the Drobo from the desktop of IMac2, image files can be moved between already created folders on the Drobo and new images can be added to existing folders. Read and Write permissions are set for all users on both iMacs. Looking for some help on figuring this out.

Have you successfully Signed Out and back in to CC (or do you still have an error message on CC)?

If not and you can't I'd guess it's still the CC that is the problem. There have been similar issues preventing LR starting here on the forum in the past (do a search, it might help)
After that I'd try the Technical Chat if you can't find anything on the CC forum (IMHO the forums are more likely to be able to help but it might take time).

How do I create folders to organize my bookmarks on Firefox for Android?

I have folders created on my laptop version but I can't figure out how to create them on the android version.

Why can't I organize bookmarks on 7" Tablet Android 30.0 version? This was addressed on your support forum 5 months ago with no response from support. Thinking of bailing to Google Chrome or something else. ????? Thank you in advance for taking the time to give me a well thought out, reasoned response. I really like your product for Windows and have used it for over 10 years, but I'm not opposed to going with something else if necessary; including using another product on my Windows version computers eventually. Can automator create folders and organize files?

I produce a large number of files that must all be moved into appropriate folders manually, but in a consistent manner every time. The files are titled with a keyword for the folder that needs to be created for them. There are just five consistent folders.
Can automator be made to automatically create these folders and move the appropriate images into them? Perhaps from the right click menu?
I've tinkered a little bit, but only been able to produce erratic behavior. In all my experiments it always stalls on the 'create new folder' step, although it does create a folder, though usually not where I needed it to go.
Any advice would be really helpful! Thanks!

Exactly. That's kinda the definition of a backup. When (not if) something awful happens, like your Mac being lost or stolen, or the HD failing or getting corrupted, or you accidentally change or delete some stuff, you have a backup you can recover.

Don't let it. Delete things you don't need. If you can't delete enough, as Neil says, get an external HD for the "overflow" that won't fit, then let Time Machine back up both your Mac and the external. See Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #32 for more info.

Bookmarks will not allow me to create folders and organize bookmarks doesn't show the bookmarks I have

I go to "Bookmark this page" then click on "Bookmarks menu" I get a drop down menu that gives me a solection of files to go to and within that is "choose" selection.
When I go there the "new folder" option is greyed out. Therefore I cannot set up a new folder. I am aware that I can create a folder within the bookmarks drop down itself.....but I have always used the above mentioned facility.
Can anyone help please.
BTW I have uninstalled and reinstalled latest version.

Add ability to sort folders in the library by date (Like Picasa has)

Sometimes I just want to find a specific folder and edit pictures in it. The problem is, you don't always remember what you named that folder you need. By allowing the folders to be sorted by date, it's usually a lot easier to find the folder because you know about when it was.

Sounds like you should organise all your folders by date order and give them a descriptive name, That way you can find things far more easily. Then you should keyword the pics so you can find within entrire library.
here's a fictitious set of folders to demonstrate.
2008/
2008-01-January/
2008-01-29 Gardening
2008-01-29 Night Out
2008-01-31 Trip to Zoo
2008-02-Febuary/
2008-02-01 Dog's birthday
2008-02-03 Cat's Birthday
2008-02-03 Race Meet
This structure as shown above is also good in that it will survive different programmes and even different OSes. Are you going to rely on Adobe, let along LR being around in 30yrs time? One should never let a programme dictate your fundamental filing structure - iPhoto, iTunes yuck, messy.
I also try and separate out differing shoots from each day as I'm hardly likely to want to look through gardening and night out shots together and it also speeds up individual folder rendering.
This specific structure is designed so it will always correctly arrange by date, do this and your problem is solved as LR simply imports your folder structure.
I've used this for a long time now and it's very robust.

I use Bridge to import from Cards [LR sucks at importing as it doesn't copy all file types] and you can set Bridge to place images in folders by date shot automatically.

Voice recognition creates text twice over RDP connection

Using an IPad 3 to connect to a Windows 7 Pro desktop and text repeats each time using voice recognition to create text in Outlook or Word. It only creates text one time locally. Just happens over RDP.
Any suggestions?

Rus, I've had similar issues on my iPhone 5. I was having issues that some people on my contact list just weren't getting my texts. I could text them before I got the iPhone and they received them no problem but now it wouldn't go through. Like you the phone said it went through but they never received them. I could receive their texts and even if I replied to their texts, they didn't receive it. I could call them though. I contacted Verizon and Apple but they we no help. What I figured out on my own was that if I deleted their contact from my address book and added it back in fresh, the problem was solved. It's happened to me with 4 different people that were in my contacts already and I deleted them and added them back in and it works fine now. What I believe was happening was I came from a non-smartphone. To transfer my contacts over I downloaded Verizon's contact transfer app on my old phone and uploaded them to it. When my new iPhone 5 came in I downloaded the same app and used it to transfer my contacts to my new phone. I think some of them got corrupted for some reason during the process. I don't know for sure if this is what was happening but since non of the new contacts that I added in after I got the iPhone have any problems I'm guessing I'm right. My concern still is that I will continue to find people in my address book that wont' get my texts and I just won't know it for sure. Good luck!

When I open my email account on the Internet it shows all my emails in their respected folders that I created and organized. Unfortunately, when I try to open my account on the desktop email app they provide for us (the postage stamp with the bird) it does not show any of my folders and just has all my emails under ?not junk" and "junk"..... First off, how is your email configured in Mail? It sounds like POP (if you just have one folder) versus IMAP. Is that correct? Are you familiar with how to determine that information? Secondly, who is your email provider? Do you know if they offer IMAP access?
POP will download only the content of your Inbox to your Mail application, you'd then be required to create local folders and manage your email (organize it). IMAP, if you like to work with folders would be the preferred solution here. This way the folders that you see on the web will "sync" with the folders in your Mail application.
Not all free email providers offer IMAP, GMail is the only one to my knowledge, at least of the popular ones. Most ISP emails or work/corporate email providers offer IMAP but you'd need to get the appropriate server settings.

Can I create folders in iCloud?

I have not used iCloud very much because I can't tell where my documents are. I know that sounds silly and I do know literally where they are. But it seems you cannot interact with them via a finder window. You must go through individual applications. However, I created a new document on my mac mini recently and when I opened my laptop several hours later it was sitting there ready to be worked on. This is a great feature and I am interested in using it further but not if I can't create folders and organize iCloud like the rest of all my files. Does anyone have any insights on Apple's plans for this?

If you want to create folders in iCloud to organize your documents, it's much easier if you are using OS X Mountain Lion and iWork '09. Just open Pages and you will see the iCloud window. Drag one file to another one to create a folder in iCloud.

Thank you for your recommendation. I understand the challenges of managing large numbers of files on the My Files page. I also understand the need to preserve project files.
Perhaps a compromise would be to create an Archive tab under My Files. Previous versions and retired project files could then be automatically moved into this holding area when a new version is published, thus preserving the files in a separate area that is still accessible to the author.
I will submit this suggestion to our product management team to consider as a future enhancement.
