every time i want to download an app something appears and it says that theres a billing problem with a previos purchase and im stuck with it for 3 months and i dont even have a credit card and i didnt purchase anythin i swear i only download free apps and now i have 43 updates and i want to download clash of clan my sister once gave me her user to download temple run 2 but shes not telling me her password so please fix it apple

Please Apple Fix Itunes Backup!

I have been waiting for four hours to backup, when I could be using my Ipad.
I have been a windows pc user most of life and what drew me to now be a Mac Owner, Itouch Owner, and now a Ipad Owner was the ease of using your product except Itunes Backup and Sync.
Please give me some options like incremental, full, time to do back up, the ability to have a option to turn off backup when I connect to my Mac, Ipad, etc.
I have never even written to Microsoft once, because I didn't care.
I love Macintosh now and I am getting rid of all my Windows Machines for Macintosh. Please, change this horrible backup software to something more usable.

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

I was very happy with the SL update and following 10.6.2 regarding color management under OS X.
The problem is that Safari's own color management is broken. It reverts any untagged content to Monitor RGB. This is a huge problem on wide gamut monitors as they'll render over saturated colors (almost neon-like).
Apple should follow Mozilla's steps and see what they did with Firefox 3.6. It manages all colored content (whether it's images or CSS colors) and reverts everything to the ICC monitor profile you set on your preferences.
I cannot rely on Safari (or Chrome for that matter) anymore.
I know this issue is well-known and was reported before, but Apple has to fix this.

From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Report Bugs to Apple.
They will not respond but developers do read the reports.

HT204409 I keep seeing "change my router" as a solution to wifi problems, I cannot change hotel routers! ***, please Apple, I have been a big fan but this is crazy, only my Apple products are not working on wifi!

This wifi issue is bad, all other products I have work fine, but my iPad (fully update, re-installed, re-booted, etc...) will not work. Time to return it and switch to another vendor? Many of the solutions I see are change your router. I cannot change a Hotel router, a companies router! Please Apple fix this ASAP prem price and not working!

the iPad should work with most wifi routers. There are some old wife routers it may not. Your ipad coiuld have a hardware problem.
Does it work with some routers? Have you hung out in the lobby of the hotel and asked if other ipad users are having a problem. What does the hotel staff say?
You could carry a mini wifi router with you and connect the mini via ethernet cable.
Find the make and model of the wifi router. We can check if other ipad owners are having problem.

Did Apple fix the video quality issue in iMovie '09?

I am a casual video editor and iMovie 08 had the perfect user experience / functionality for what I want to do.
However, the known video quality issue (throwing away interlaced scan lines) made the result unacceptable since I archive our family video on DVDs. I have been forced to use iMovie HD for that reason. I have tried tricks such as converting the original DV files to AIF and deinterlace prior to import into iMovie08 but that did not seem to work either.
So does anyone know if Apple fixed the video quality issue in iMovie '09.
MESSAGE TO APPLE IF YOU ARE LISTENING:
Please fix the video quality in iMovie09 if not already. Yes, the quality is ok for YouTube or Internet video but for those of us who want simple editing to archive our family video we cannot accept poor video quality. Dropping an interlace field effectively halves the vertical resolution. Thank you.

Please explain this in more detail when you say Adaptive Deinterlacer. Are you talking about another program? If so, what program and what are the specific steps.
Also, sounds like you are recommending imovie09. By saying to do the above, are you saying imovie09 still causes you too loose significant quality like imovie08? Are you saying you can use imovie08 or imovie09 with these steps to get high quality video or just imovie09? I guess I just need more specifics on how you do what you are describing and how imovie09 fits into this versus imovie08. I joined this whole discussion trying to figure out if upgrading imovie09 made a difference regarding the whole quality issue. I know it has more features, but I am more concerned about he quality of the video right now. Thanks.

Last Monday i went to the Apple Store, and received a new iPhone 5s, with a swap repair. I was very exited and happy with it, until.... IOS 8.0.2. showed up.
i did an OTA update and everything went fine, until the moment i would like to place a call or do something, that need to make a connection with my mobile provider.
For exemple, browse the internet using 3G, Change settings which have something to do with my provider, like turn on or off caller id, or anything like that. The worst of all is that i can't receive any sms, or incoming call. And when i would like to place a call, I've got the message Call Filed, please try again, and if im lucky it would work after pressing try again for something like 10 times.
So what I've tried to fix this issue is,
Restore all network settings, (it dit work for a few minutes) after those minutes the same issue...
Restore complete back to default fabric settings of iOS 8.0.2. without placing back an backup. (it doesn't work)
And since apple still provides iOS 8.0, I've even tried to restore from 8.0.2 to 8.0 it so technically I've downgraded. (but still no luck)
And even though the device is just a few days old, I've tried to remove, clean and replace the sim card. (but it still doesn't work, again a five minute fix...)
Temporary fixes that worked for max 5 minutes or less.
Turnning on and of airplane mode.
Like i said before, I've tried to remove, clean and replace the sim card.
and last but not least Rebooting the device...
So i've got one question left, please Apple re provide iOS 7.1.2 again, until all of the iOS 8, 8.0.2 bugs are fixed. Cause if the main reason of purchase every iPhone that introduced the world was stability and a overall amazing good quality, but right now im stuck with a to expensive iPod touch in the skin of an iPhone 5s.. and really unstable, it is the exact opposite from what everyone expect from an quality brand like Apple. i hope that there is a way to deal with this issues for good... Apple is not on here, we are all fellow uSers, not Apple employees. Apple merely provides the site for us to discuss and help with technical problems each other is having.
Apple does not support downgrading an iOS, and removes the older version's files from the server when the new version becomes available. There is no legitimate way back.

Will apple fix your computer for free if you have guarantee

I was walking with my macbook open when suddeny i fainted, my macbook fell off my hands and i was unconcious so i idid not see it fall or where it hit, when i noticed it fell i paniced the system worked perfectly so i was okay. Later that day i was checking it to make sure and the bottom right corner is bended a little and seems broken with a bit missing, the black thing connecting the screen with the bottom is popping out and when i flip my mac it wouldn't stay shut, it would open a bit. one of the screw drivers is falling off. My mac screen cracked and they fixed it for free already one time, would apple fix it again for free. I am really worried because now my macbook will not close completly and im scared that the screen will start getting lose. Is there any way possible to fix this after i woke up from fainting i saw my computer closed and flip i think it fell on it's side. would apple care for this, it has less than 1 year of use so i have guarantee but i think it is only for system issues. Please help im really scared, If they won't fix it for free how much do you think it would cost to fix it Thank you

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
What have you tried to fix it ? Have you tried closing the Videos app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it plays properly when you re-open then app ? Have you tried a soft-reset of your iPad ? If neither of those fix it then are you in a country where films can be redownloaded (assuming that it's not a rental) ? If you are then delete it from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.

Did Apple ever fix the Did Apple fix the Logic installation DVD's?
When I got Logic 8 last year - I was missing a lot of patches, and things were goofy (like Jazz Drum Kit)... supposedly had to do with Garage Band conflicts... I don't know.
Did Apple release new installation discs since then that install the program on a computer properly?

try to press the sleep/wake button + home button at the same time and hold them until the apple logo appears. that should help.

Apple Fix keychain !!!

Hi there,
after scanning the internet for quite a while it seems to me, that the mac os keychain is far from being a reliable piece of software. Obviously it can stop to function from one second ot another, errors and related behaviour are hard or impossible to reproduce.
Why does a software need to have a "repair" function at all? Isn't that a clear sign of a helpless concept? It's not known to me, that data can fade away or gets affected by acid rain or such.
It either stores credentials or it doesn't. Interestingly mac os keychain does both at the same time.
At the moment my keychain works randomly. Sometimes my logins are stored, the next time it might be forgotten again. It is not reproducable and doesn't make sense at all.
Apple hasn't even started to notice this to be a serious problem.
This is an urgend plea to start re-engineering that so called keychain application.
Please apple, do something!!!

I followed all advice from here and other posts. I see that a lot of people have issues and have had issues with keychain for some time. Some things are not solvable and Apple is not the intuitive brand it used to be. So it goes.
Here is my latest travail.
I opened keychain and used "Help" to read and follow all the links in it. (I have done this before.) I "Reset My Default Keychain (Reset Keychain Syncing") is ghosted.
So now I no longer have my previous keychain links and passwords - except for root stuf. I am pretty well, worse off than before. I have spent hours on this. (Every time I get frustrated and try to fix this on going problem I spend hours. This has gone on at least since Snow L came out.)
I am pretty much giving up on relying on Keychain. I am tired of hunting through all the help posts in this forum. I appreciate the time and effort forum volunteers and members put into Apple Discussion (an important part of the human experience is sharing and helping others, for which AF persons can't be beat) and have had fabulous help many times with many issues. Keychain has just become such a drag it is easier to keep my own list of pws in VoodooPad and open it when I need a pw.
If anyone has any further suggestions, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, when I have time over the coming holidays, I will go through the headache of reinstalling SLeopard and try to get things back on track. (As an unaccomplished perfectionist, I'm like a dog with a bone.)
I hope I don't sound angry, I am not. I am just tired of something that used to be so simple, straightforward and workable, taking up more time than than I can spare in other activities.
