Please change the calendar

I am a former palm Treo owner who is having a hard time switcing over to the iPhones Calendar. I would like to be able to customize(minutes, hours,days, and weeks) alerts directly on my phone rather than syncing to my pc. I also miss being able to define the start of my day when a new alert comes in @ 12am....like birthday alerts that sound off one week at midnight. Hope Apple will consider. These changes would make this the perfect phone!

No, not at all. I do sync and know that it's important. My problem is that I don't want to have to do it every single time I enter a new event in my calendar and would like an 18 hour, 1 week, or any other choice for a reminder alert that's not available on the phone calendar. Plus, I like having a 1 week reminder for birthdays but I don't like getting those alerts at 12am. With the Treo, you could define the hour in which you wanted your day to begin in your calendar. I love all the great things the iPhone can do. I just wish that the calendar was more flexible. The new Palm Pre didn't keep their great calendar (from the Treo) or I may have considered switching to Sprint. I hope Apple will revise. I would just like to choose some options directly from my phone since most of the time, I enter events when I'm away from my computer. Either way, I will continue to sync regularly for backup etc... Ok - an update ...
Managed to get the phone to backup to iCloud, so decided to risk the "Factory" reset.
Took the reset option including delete all data and crossed fingers.
It took a while to resotre from iCloud, but everthing seems to be back and ...
Bluetooth now working agaim.
Backup to Computer working again.
And somewhat to my surprise, GMail in the mail app is working again. (The surprise being that the implication of other posts was that this was a 6.1.3 fundamental bug)
Still no idea why the iPhone was corrupted - but at least the "Factory" reset seems to have recovered the situation.

Changing the calendar settings: Sunday as the first day of the week

Dear Masters of SAP universe,
In ECC6.0, I am using a LIS info-structure with the period split set to week.
I would like to know how can I change the calendar settings in order to consider Sunday as the first day of the week, instead of Monday.
For example:
A sales order created on Dec 12th creates the record 201049 in the info structure S900 - SPWOC.
I would like to have it as 201050, where 50 is the currently week in the system.
I already checked OSS notes and the transaction SCAL for customizing. But I did not find a solution this issue.
Your help is highly appreciated!

How to change color of iCal event, without changing the calendar.

I have my work Exchange calendar imported to iCal. When I want to change the color of an event in iCal, it actually changes the event to a differnet 'calendar' and therefore no longer shows up on my work calendar. This wouldn't be a problem, excpet my secretary can no longer see the event on my work calendar that shows up on her PC. So how can I change the color of 1 event, say to 'Important' or 'Must Attend', without changing the calendar?

Welcome to the discussions, spet.
Right click (Control-click) the calendar you want to change in the left pane and select Get Info. There is a colour selection button to the right of the calendar name..

    UDDI url: http://xi.esworkplace.sap.com:50200/uddi/wsdl/uddi_v3_service.wsdl
   but when I try to explore advance search in VC it shows me the following error:
   Could not receive classifications from UDDI server. Please change the UDDI server.
   Any idea?

The one that Mario is saying is not in NWDS its in CE I guess. I too face the same difficulty. I give the following details that I did in my local CE. After saving the setting I tried to clickd service registry I get some list of errors. Kindly help me and Mario in resolving this. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to change the Calendar 7.0 view to show 2 weeks instead of 1 week or month view. I find the month view is far too messy and the 1 week too short. To date I found the previous version more visibly user friendly

I have upgraded to Mavericks and have found the Calendar 7.0 not visually user friendly. The week view is too resrictive and the month view far too messy. Is there any way of editting the view, the ability to change the colour and thickness of the grid lines would at least help. This version of Calendar seems to be a retrograde step.

Agree. Positively loathe the new calendar display - each day blends into the next and I can't get my information at a glance. Looks like it's time to switch to BusyCal or Google Calendar.

Can I change the calendar view in IOS 7 notification center?

IOS 6 Notification Center showed the calendar info in a LIST view, showing all events for that day (timed and untimed events). IOS 7 only seems to allow a view that looks like an excerpt from the DAY view of the calendar. It takes up more space than the previous version and shows less info, only 1/2 at a time. Does anyone know if there is a way to change that view in Notification Center?

ESS Webdynpro Java - Howto change the calendar

Hello,
i would like to change the shown calendar in the iview "Create new Travel Reqeust".
it shows the last 4 months and finishes with the current month.
This is not userfriendly, since a user who travels doesn't care about the last months.
He is more interested in the coming months.
Is there a way of configuring the shown months ?

How do I change the calendar history length

I want to be able to view lots of past event but only a month is available?

I suffer from the same problem. I have tried many approaches to solve it, including that suggested by dommer14, all to no avail. On my iPhone 5 I have selected Sync All Events in Calendars Settings, but calendar events past about 30 days old do not appear on my iPhone even though they do appear in my iCloud calendars as far back as I have been using it. I have tried restarting the Calendar app, restarting the iPhone, changing and restoring the Calendars Sync selection - nothing works. This is very frustrating because having visibility on my phone to old appointments, etc. is important to me and is supposed to be supported by this configuration. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Change the calendar control's error message

I have a number of calendar controls which are used to pick dates, however they all have the ability to key the date in and if you enter an invalid format for the date value, they raise the "Conversion Error Occurred" error which displays on screen in the message box.
I want to replace this error with something more user friendly. I have tried adding messages to a bundle and defining the bundle in the app config, but it does not seem to work.
Anyone got any ideas how to do this?

i think it is actually a jsp validation message, but i can't figure out how to make it change

Can anyone help me determine why iCloud changes the calendar time of appointments.

Here's my situation: i use an iphone registered/acquired in spain. the phone is unlocked and now carries a t-mobile card, as i am currently in nyc, but all my calendar appointments have a 6 hour time difference from those entered on my mac and vice versa. there are several threads about this issue, all of which point to the various hardware and software settings (time zone support on or off on the iphone as well as on the app on mac and phone). another user mentioned the setting provided for in the icloud calendar function itself, where the proper time zone can be modified. all to no avail, i stil get my 6 hour time difference.

I have 3 scenarios: Entering an appointment on the mac's calendar, on the phone's, and on iCloud's calendar. If I enter an appointment on the mac, it shows up correctly on iCloud, but is off by 6 hours on my phone's app. If I enter it on the phone's app, it will be off on iCloud and therefore off too on the mac. I've deleted the app (I use WeekCal, but see the same discrepancies on the iCal app) and reset it all new, but the problem prevails. Unlike my earlier assumption that the problem lies with iCloud, I now believe it is in the phone, although wouldn't know where. I see that the iCal app on OS has the ability to adjust for the time zone. When entering the event on the phone, it gets syncronized on the Mac at the phone's time zone, which for some reason appears to be set at my original Spanish setting (GMT+1), even after I reset the time zone to NY. I can manually adjust the calendar time zone setting on my Mac to EST to correct the time for the appointment.
Quite frustrating!

ADF Calendar : change the calendar activity style

Dear All,
Is it possible to display the events found in the month view of the ADF calendar without the time ?
By default the calendar displays it's events in the following format "12:00 AM Client X" i need to display only the event description without the time therefore i need to display only "Client X".
