Please check your files for this UTSCSI.EXE

I am researching O23 - Service: CLCV0 (UTSCSI) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\UTSCSI.EXE
Specifically CLCVO as my computer is doing funky things. I came across this file after running Malware and hijack this. So I started googling this am to see what it was. I am not suggesting anything, but after reading about 60 Hijack this scans, I found a common thread of software, Itunes and Ipod. Now, maybe there are just alot of people who have this software, I dont know. I know my problems started after this last update when the Ipod no longer worked.
Usually this file has been associated with a mass device storage unit like a stick. I know from past scans usually a virus attacks the SCSI, which is why I started digging into this.
For those of you who know where to find this file, can you report back here if you have this as well and any anomalies with your computer? Thanks - just trying to get to the bottom of this file

Hi Chris, thanks for your response. I did indeed see post in regards to the mass storage devices or thumb drives. However, I have not used one of these. It was after reading posts like this that I started tracking what storage devices I have. I do have an external drive, but this file was not there when I installed this drive.
Once I zeroed in on the 2 items I have, the Ipod and the external drive, I started looking for files to see if there was a correlation related to the 2 items. That led me here

Hi I created a page in Adobe Edge. I need to amend it slightly but when I try to open it I get this error. Any ideas why? I haven't changed the folder or altered anything since I opened it last? Any advice would be great - its really frustratring! I have seen the other link, but just wondered if there is any easier way to figure it out. I'm not a programmer so don't really understand what I'm looking for. Thanks

  • When entering my phone serial number it shows "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us."

    Hi,
I had purchased an iPhone 5 last month and got the OS updated to iOS 7, yesterday.
The data cable was of very bad quality and when I took it to the retailer for replacement, they said that its not covered under the one year warranty.
Secondly, I have also been experiencing network coverage issues with this phone. So, I decided to contact apple care through the web. When entering my serial number/IMEI it says, "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us."
Does anybody have any idea what the reason behind this could be.
    - First time with iPhone and frustrated.

If you purchased the iPhone from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller,
contact them for assistance. If you purchased elsewhere, go back
to that retailer and get them to give you a new iPhone or your money
    back.
If you have checked the serial number carefully and re-entered it
and that gave you the same error message, contact Apple if purchased
from Apple or authorized retailer; otherwise you have been scammed
and need to pursue the matter with the business you obtained the
    iPhone from.

We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us....
can any one tell me what is that mean..... replace what ?

In most cases, what you said is true...however, this is not always the case.  Take myself for example...
1: I posted my phone online to sell
2: Someone saw my serial number and called AppleCare to get a replacement phone
3: An inferior AppleCare representative bypassed a component validation (check serial number to the device on hand) and approved the replacement under my AppleCare plan.
4:  After noticing this (about 4 days after it happened) and  a trip to Apple and a call to AppleCare, all was resolved.  My phone is back to being covered under AppleCare+
    5:  I learned my lesson.
So, as you can see, there is a chance that it can be something else.  Although, if the person selling the phone notices, it shouldn't take long to resolve it. Chances are that it is what you said.
    Hope this helps

Hi everyone! I have iphone 4s, which was bought about 6 mounts later and has serial number C2*******TD6 and IMEI ****. When i try to check warranty on the page https://selfsolve.apple.com/wcResults.do i see
We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us.
And if i try to enter IMEI here i see
Our records indicate that this product has been replaced. Please provide the serial number for your replacement product to find the support and warranty coverage information. For more information, please contact us.
Does it means, that I was bought a non exist iPhone? Or it was refurbished? I need an official answer to take them to seller because I was bought iPhone as a new.
    Thank you.

  • I am getting a message. What does it means "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. "

I have tried getting service support information from Apple Support Service. When entered my serial no. got this
I am getting a message."We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. "
    What does it means???

I dont have any idea . I brought out it new from the market.!
Well, when you purchase from a non-official source you run the risk of getting who knows what from wherever. It appears this phone was replaced under warranty at some point, but not returned to Apple for refurbishment. Thus, the SN is no longer valid for warranty & service. If you can return it and get your money back, I'd suggest you do so.

  • I get the following message, when trying to check for updates on itunes:-  "The iTunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection or try again later".

I get the following message when I go to "check for updates" on iTunes (I have XP on windows). Error message: "The iTunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection or try again later".
My firewall (both anti virus firewall and windows firewall, are set up to allow itunes programme to work) - I also have set both internet explorer and chrome to allow

However, I still get the same error message... can anyone help?

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

  • TS1424 I am having issues downloading music from iTunes, it comes up saying an unknown error has occurred - please check your network connection. Now I can connect to iTunes store and have itunes as an exception for downloads so don't know what else to do

Hello, I've started having an issue downloading songs and apps from iTunes to our PC which has Windows XP Professional installed. We also use Karspersky Anti-Virus and Firefox as an internet browser. Have never had this issue before, it comes up with "An unknow error has occured and downloads are stopped with an error 8003. Also says please check your network connection" We have no issue connecting to iTunes store or the network so not sure how to fix this. It is very frustrating. Have checked Windows Firewall and iTunes is an exception, can't think of anything else why it won't work.

I sounds as though you need to start again. The following article tells you how to completely remove iTunes and Quicktime. If you didn't actually install iTunes you wont find it in add/remove programs so you can't do that bit, but still delete the iTunes folder in Program Files as advised in the article.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93698
Once you have got rid of them, try installing the latest version of iTunes. There is a link to it in the article.
Itunes wont move your music for you, get iTune sgoing then ask again.

  • An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file

    Just for the record:
I had received the error message "An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file" after all data apparently had been uploaded.
After trying everything recommended on the internet, I finally found the culprit: Glimmerblocker, an ad blocker!
(GlimmerBlocker version 1.4.16, Mac OS X 10.7.2 Lion)
Actually, the credit goes to the very patient German Apple support: they had finally asked me: "what software have you installed lately" ... a big applause to the guys there!
    Best,
    Gabriel.

In our case, it was not third party software, but a problem with our router not accepting pings.  If you are using a router be sure to set-up Enable WAN Ping Respond,  in the advanced settings.  I reviewed my wireless router's logs and found that it was blocking ICMP Type 3 packets from Apple's server.  As a result, it would give the message, "An error occurred while uploading one of your files.  Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file."  You can find the blocked packets in your log based on the time you clicked the buy button for your iPhoto purchase (in my case about a dozen times).  If your packets are blocked, then that is your problem.
I should have suspected it was the connection since the message plainly said, "...check your network connection...".  However, I discounted this along with so many others based on the forums, since I could connect to the internet.  If there only was a way the message could have gave a little more saying, "Enable your WAN Ping Respond now, or else!"
Good fortune on your road to Macenlightenment!

    I'm experiencing a similar problem.
I have a MacBook Pro Late 2011.  I was using Lion (not Mountain Lion) with CS3 with no problems.  Recently I installed a new hard drive in my computer and used Time Machine to transfer all my files and settings (still with Lion; I did not try to open any Adobe applications at this point).  Then I udpated to Mavericks.  Upon trying to open one of the Adobe applications, it told me I needed to reinstall CS3.  I inserted the original disc and followed the instructions on the ReadMe file.  I went to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers > Add or Remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium.  I did a reinstall, and at the end, it said that some of the components failed to install (see screenshot):
I did a partial install (not all CS3 applications), so there could have been more errors than this if all applications were installed.  The applications themselves appear to work fine, but when I try to run the updater, it tells me I have no internet connection.

Can you tell me where to find these manual updates?  I looked on this page:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=1&platform=Macintosh
but I don't see 9.2.0 for any of the CS3 applications.
The CS3 that I purchased (Design Premium) came with Adobe Acrobat 8.  I tried to manually install the 8.1.1 update.  It said, "Please choose the copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional to update", but the application is grayed out (see below).  I did not try to install any other manual updates, yet.
I'm not sure what to do here besides use my CS3 applications the way they are without updating them ever.  (I would rather not subscribe to the Creative Cloud.)  Any help will be appreciated.  I might try doing a complete unintall followed by a fresh install.

I downoland game Zombi Farma for free but I paid 239 dkk.
Here is answer from The Play Forge:
    Hi Anna,
first of all, please check your receipt again,
if you've purchased anything else during the period it might appear as if it's related to Zombie Farm (Apples receipts are a bit hard to read to be honest.)
If this is indeed not the case and you have indeed not purchased anything from us, yet have been charged 239 DKK, there's obviously a big issue.
However, we're not in charge of the money handled in purchases, as Apple has chosen to be the only one controlling this.
As such you'll have to contact Apples support to get help with refunds.
    You'll find it at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/
We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. :/

The Zombie Farms game is free but "in App" purchases during game play are not. You are being charged for the purchase of "50 brains" not for the game itself.
Note that if you purchased this game after entering your password, etc. there may be a period of time where someone can play the game and make purchases without needing to re-enter the password.
Did you give your iPod to your children to play this game?

Cannot get on iMessage or FaceTime I get this message "FaceTime Activation: Could not sign in.  Please check your network connection and try again

    Try something really simple.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try this. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Or try this as well. Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure it is set to On.
@Freckles888 ..... I really doubt that "millions of others" are having this problem. I think that news would be all over the airwaves and Apple would be taking more heat about it that we can imagine.

  • IMessage waiting for activation: could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again

My iphone 5 randomly began restarting regularly. Since when it has been on my iMessage is unavalibale, when I go on the settings it says waiting for activation when I try to activate with my apple id it says 'could not sign in. Please check your network settings an try again' this is also happening with face time how can I fix this?

Try backing up then restoring your device on iTunes via your computer, a few other with the same issue have done this and it has fixed the problem for them so it might be worth a shot :)
