I can't get past the "Please choose an existing Eclipse 3.1
(or greater) folder to be updated" dialog box during installation
of FlexBuilder2_B3_05-08.exe, plugin option. I'm most certainly
pointing to the correct location of my Eclipse 3.1 folder, and it
does contain the "plugins" and "features" folders. Any
suggestions?

Which version of 3.1 are you using (3.1.2, or something
earlier than that)?
Specifically, the installer is looking for the standard
eclipse feature org.eclipse.platform version 3.1 or higher. If you
run the copy of Eclipse you're trying to install into on its own,
and view your Feature info (Help -> About Eclipse SDK ->
Feature Details), what info is showing for the feature named
Eclipse Platform?

When a new hard drive was installed in my imac, photobooth asked me to choose my existing photo booth library or create a new one. My existing one is there, but I can't select it.

My hard drive recently had to be replaced, and I just got my computer back with successful data recovery. When I opened Photo Booth, I was prompted with the following: 'Photo Booth could not locate your photo library. Please choose an existing library, or create a new one in order to continue using Photo Booth. This photo library will be used the next time you open Photo Booth.'
I navigated to my regular photo booth library in my hard drive, but it wouldn't allow me to select it. I then tried opening and updating iPhoto including upgrading my library. I imported my old Photo Booth Library as well. Everything works! I should be allowed to use the same folder as before, instead of creating a "Photo Booth Library #2" or something. Any Ideas?

Repair permissions ...
Launch Disk Utility located in your Applications / Utilities folder
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Repair Disk Permissions
This can take a few minutes so don't be alarmed.
Restart your Mac when it's finished then try PhotoBooth.

How to import existing eclipse Project to JDeveloper

Hi,
previously I used to use Eclipse IDE. I have started to use Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 now. How can I import my existing Eclipse projects to JDeveloper? Please Note, I already have tried following options -
"Importing Existing Files into a New JDeveloper Project" from here - Working with Applications and Projects.
But, When I import the source files from existing Eclipse Projects to JDeveloper, I am not able to crease similar directory structure in the JDeveloper(in Application Navigator). As a result, I can not use my existing ANT build script to build my project[Though JDeveloper build my project,but I want to use manual ANT build.]
Moreover I don't want to change my existing directory structure as I am working on and existing project and I need to synchronize to my repository(Apache SVN).
Can any one help me in this - How can I import existing Eclipse Project to JDeveloper? Without any significant change in directory structure.

Well there are two options - if you have a WAR file with the code in it, then you can use the file->import WAR.
Or you can use the new->Project from source code.
Note that you'll probably need to do some library settings and some directory setting after that.

We have a problem with running ABAP programs using some variants : we have 30 variants but the program can only run with 25 variants, with the other 5 left the program displays this error :
Please choose a valid variant name
We then decided to run RSI_IMPORT_ABAP_PROGRAMS and RSI_IMPORT_VARIANTS but the script still fails and shows the "Please choose a valid variant name" error message.
We have checked if these 5 variants exist in the target system, and it does. What other check can we do to find why the jobs failed ?

I tried to run RSI_IMPORT_ABAP_PROGRAMS and RSI_IMPORT_VARIANTS again, and the variants exist in the target client.
Actually, I realized that I didn't chose the right client.
The program runs correctly now with all the variants.

I just received the above message. I was using an existing template in CS6. I created a new page from an existing template. I finished the page and tried to save it to my root folder. That is when I received "you can't save in this location. Please choose another location". What did I do? Thanks in advance.

To spawn new pages from Templates, go to File > New page from Template. Select your Template and hit Create button. Template.dwt files can only be saved to the Site's Templates folder. However Child pages can be saved to any folder in your site root.

I am further told that "Adobe apps cannot be installed on case-sensitive drives, you need to Install the product onto an HFS+ or HFSJ non-case-sensitive drive."
What I don't understand is this: I originally bought and installed Photoshop CS6 back in March 2013, and it worked fine. It means what it says. The "computer person" formatted it wrongly/ unsuitably. it needs to be formatted again.

I'm having some difficulty updating a table in my powerpivot data model. The data for the table is stored in a local excel file; if I go to
Existing Connections select the connection and do a test then everything is successful. When however I try to refresh that particular table I get the following error:
"We couldn’t refresh the connection. Please go to existing connections and verify they connect to the file or server."
In the past I had this and it was an authentication issue, the files are stored on SharePoint and I wasn't logged in to Sharepoint - I have however checked this and it can't be the issue because I have other tables linked to other excel files in the same
location that are refreshing without issue. Can anyone think of what may be causing it?
I have even tried creating a new local excel with the same data, added it to the data model and then tried a refresh and I I get exactly the same issue.
Are there any known issues with refreshing data from an Excel file if, after the initial import, you add columns to the table in the excel file I was wondering if this might contribute?

From your description, I tried to reproduce this issue on my test environment. However, everything is fine for me. Could you please post the specific version of SQL Server PowerPivot for Excel?
You can try to use a trace file to troubleshoot errors in PowerPivot. If this issue still persists, please try to reinstall SQL Server PowerPivot for Excel to see if this helps.

Hi all, I installed microsoft sharepoint designer 2010. It was working perfectly up until yesterday when I create a new site, it gave me an error that said " This web site must be created on a server that is running Microsoft Sharepoint Foundation.
Please choose another Location " Now I can't create any sharepoint site and it freaks me out. I tried repairing, unistalling and reinstalling but still i get the same message.

You have to have SharePoint 2010, either SharePoint Foundation 2010 or SharePoint Server 2010, installed somewhere in order to be able to create SharePoint sites with SharePoint Designer 2010. SharePoint Designer 2010 is a client-side product, which is usually
installed on end user machines and then used to connect to a server-side edition of SharePoint 2010 (either of the two I mentioned above) to modify the SharePoint sites hosted on that server-side product.
It is possible to install SharePoint Foundation 2010 on a client operating system (Windows 7), but it is much more likely that a production environment will involve installing SharePoint Foundation 2010 or SharePoint Server 2010 on a server operating system
(Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2) on a central server that can be accessed by multiple users.
If you are looking to do testing, you can either install Foundation on Windows 7, or use a virtualization product such as Hyper-V, VMware Workstation, Virtual Box, to name a few, to build a virtual server hosting SharePoint.
You aren't going to be able to create SharePoint sites with SPD until you have SharePoint Foundation 2010 or SharePoint Server 2010 somewhere for it to connect to, sorry.

Could you please let me know what version of OS are working on.
You might receive this error when you attempt to install on a drive with the HFS+ Case Sensitive file system, which is not supported for installation of Adobe Creative Suite 6.
So, please try installing on a drive that has been formatted with a supported file system.

After many annoying sign-in-out-iTunes-match-activation problems I found an easy solution for me. When the iTunes Cloud symbol is broken (and I should sign in again) I just deactivate my notebooks (Windows 7) Wifi (with Fn+F5 for my Thinkpad).Then I call up the Itunes store and iTunes tells my that there is no connection to the internet (most probaply this step is not necessesary). After manual re-activation of my Wifi iTunes seems to re-establish the connection and the Cloud symbol signalizes that iTunes match does work, again.

I have Just upgraded my mac from Itunes 11.0 to itunes 11.02, this issue occured within hours of the updated.
It seems to occur about every couple of hours for me, I can still access the apple store, but music match just dies with the message: "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again."
As it takes a good ten minuites for itunes
If this is also occuring in Itunes 11, the previous Discussions are probably not relevant.
Itunes 11 has had significant changes applied, so it would be reasoble to assume this is not the same fault and Apple have some how broken Itunes again.
I might try to downgrade to itunes 11.0, as it looks like music match faults are not high on apples priorities, it looks like took them almost a year to fix this fault last time it occured.

I'm using the File> Process Multiple Files method.

As you stated above you are typing names and numbers, so in such situation Process Multiple Files tries to rename all your files with same name.
You can type the name as per your choice but you need to select one of the value from available list of serial number field.
Give it a try.

I have done a thorough search online (w/google) trying several combinations of words but I seem to be the only person on the planet with this error. I guess I will try to remake the project but I don't think it will fix the problem. I also will update my OS to 10.4.10, anyways here is the the error message.

I just bought and installed iLife 08 and the 8.1 update for Garageband. I have a 3 hr and 50 track on the time line and I have added chapter marks with 16k pics. The original combined track size (wav files) did exceed 2GB but I edited the files in itunes (to mono wav files) and swapped in the new files so that the max file size should only be 1.5GB. I still get the error message above when I try to export the podcast to disk using AAC w/Mono Podcast setting. Your help is appreciated.

I am now the third person in the world to get this error message, except my GB project is a mere 1 hour and 45 minutes long. I've outputted longer projects before and never got this error before. It's a new one to me, and frustrating. How exactly am I supposed to choose a "shorter bounce time" if there is no explanation anywhere in Appleworld of what a bounce time is or how to set it shorter?
Again, I'm not doing anything different with this project than others that shared successfully, and the dialog box estimates my outputted file size to be approx. 100 MB.

If you copy the recordings from AVCHD cameras, you must copy the entire storage device with its directory structure intact.
I have even tried copying BACK files onto the camera and they do not show up in the transfer window under the last clip.
There is no information for those clips in the AVCHD storage device's directory index files. That means there is no way for the computer to find them.
Your last resort is most likely [ClipWrap|http://www.divergentmedia.com/clipwrap] now, unless you can get the storage device exactly back into the state it is supposed to be according to the index file.
