I want to donate my computer and want to delete my name from the online product registration and the name of my house icon.

There are two final deletions I must make before I give the computer away. How can I delete my name from the online product registration of my computer, and from the house icon?

Hi, Michelle. Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
You can create a new administrator account (System Preferences > Accounts; I'd name it "New User" or the user's name if you know it). Sign out and sign in with the new account. Once you're sure the new account is working okay, you can delete your old account. This removes your name on the house icon (your user account).
Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to get away from the online product registration, but it's never been an issue for me. I've bought several iBooks on eBay and never worried about the product registration. Any time I called in for service under AppleCare, I just told them I bought the iBook on eBay, and it was never questioned further than that.
If you're worried about security, you may want to restore the iBook to like-new condition using the Restore disc(s) that came with the iBook, using the Erase option. Choose the correct link (depending upon which iBook model it is) from the following Apple Knowledge Base article: How to restore your Apple software.

How to delete file names from Adobe Reader list

How can I delete file names from the Adobe Reader list? I have deleted the file & it's empty, but deleted file names remain in my list & it's very annoying. I can't seem to find an option anywhere to delete the file names.

I have set the amount to zero, & it seems if I want to put back valid files into my list I first need to find them in another file in my pc, such as documents, open them in Adobe Reader, & then then they will reappear in the Adobe Reader list. This seems to be the case, you need to restore each file you want in your list one by one by accessing them elsewhere on your pc, & then you must open them with Adobe Reader to have files reappear in your Adobe Reader list. However, this seems to be a tedious process if you only want to delete one obsolete file from your list by first emptying the list & rebuilding it file by file. It works, but I'm wondering if there is a more sensible & efficient way to do this?

In Mail go to the Window Menu and select Previous Recipients. Deleting entries from there won't delete them from your Address Book.

pass the input parameter IV_USERNAME as the user name
You can get the result in the export parameter EV_NAME as user's first name last name

Report that gets full name from the users id in the computer name

I don't even know if this is possible, but I am finding that quite often of late I am needing to get the users full name from the computer name.
We have a standard where a computer name is in this format XXXXXXXUSERID.
Is there a way to get the Full name from the USERID that is in the computername (not last logged on user).
I am fairly sure that I might be able to work it out in SQLSMS but I really need it on the web reports form SCCM.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

What I really want to do is add another column called owner that just has the UID in it, I will then try to pull the users full name into another column.. hopefully I am not biting off more then I can chew with this but i have thousands of records and i

When i delete an audio book from my computer it does not delete the book from my Iphone. it seems to be deleting the name from the computer but not the content. this has just started happening since the last itune progam updated. the result is i have

I record audio books from my library onto my old iPhone. I download the book from Overdrive to my computer. I connect the Iphone to the computer and transfer the audio-book to the iPhone. When I am done listening to the book i delete it from the iPhone by connecting it to the computer and doing a manual sync. this worked fine until the last i-tunes update on my computer. Now when the iPhone is connected and i tell the computer to delete a book it is only deleting the name of the book on the computer it is not deleting the book from the phone. The next time I connect the phone to the computer the program does not show the book in the phone but it is still in the phone. I have no more room on my phone to get any new books on it.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Please

You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. You mentioned that you have uninstalled iTunes before, but if you didn't follow this guide exactly, uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the order specified, it may not have been successful so you should try again: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7.

Delete query names from roles and favorites

I deleted some of the queries in production using RSZDELETE but didn't delete those objects from roles and favorites. As the delete option is disabled in query dsigner and bex analyzer, I m looking for other ways to delete the query names from roles and favorites folders

PFCG is surely one of the ways to delete queries assigned to a role. But i doubt you might have access to tat tcode in production.
If you are looking towards deleting the queries from roles and favorites using Bex analyzer, you need specific authorizations. If you have those authorizations you can surely delete the queries from roles and favorites using Bex analyzer.

Please delete Adobe Revel from my MAC

Please delete my Adobe Revel account. It did not hold all my pictures and I do not want to pay monthly for more storage. I have Photoshop 12 and had trouble from the start with it. It pulled most of my pictures into it's program. I deleted the program to start over. The instructions said it would tell me to delete my photos in the program but it did not. So when I reinstalled Adobe Printshop, it had the same hundreds of pictures as before. I wanted to draw in only the pictures that I was going to work with. If you have a resolve for that problem, I would appreciate knowing it. In the meantime I want to delete the Adobe Revel program from my MAC computer. Please help me.

I'm just need a little clarification. Are you asking for help in deleting the Revel Mac app you downloaded from the Appstore? Or are you referring to the Revel Sync agent within PSE12?

Using the Null function to delete an attribute from a user in the metaverse

RC1 Update 3 adds a new Null function, which (to me) sounds like it should flow a null value into the destination attribute. I have a case where i am flowing a date from SQL into the metaverse. Just for testing, I tried a basic flow of:
Null()->employeeEndDate
This seems to function the same as this:
""-employeeEndDate
Both will add the employeeEndDate attribute to the metaverse object with a blank (not null) value. To me, Null() seems like it should be equivalent of mventry("employeeEndDate").Delete, but it doesn't seem to. Ultimately, what I want is to flow the value in if it is present in my connector space, and delete it if it is not. Something like this:
IIF(IsPresent(TermDate),DateTimeFormat(TermDate,"yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss.000"),Null())
Anyone have any thouse on this? Is there an easier to way to do this that I am overlooking?

So here is a new update on this, with somewhat of a workaround. I ran into a scenario where I wanted to delete attributes upon removal of a sync rule. Unless I am missing something, this can't be done normally. When my sync rule is removed,
the attributes are no longer flowed from the MV to the CS, but they aren't removed from the object in the CS either.
My Scenario:
Only certain users should flow their location info to AD for display in the GAL.
My Solution (these aren’t the real Set/Rule/WF/MPR names, it just makes it easier to understand):
1.
Create two sets: “Show Info” & “Hide Info”
2.
Create Sync Rule: “Flow info to AD”
a.
Dependent on a Sync Rule “AD Base”
3.
Create Workflow “Apply Flow Info to AD” to apply “Flow Info to AD” Sync Rule
4.
Create MPR to apply the “Apply Flow info to AD” Workflow on Transition In to “Show Info”
5.
Create a new Metaverse attribute for people called “nullString”
6.
Create Sync Rule: “Null Info to AD”
a.
Dependent on “AD Base”
b.
Flows the nullString attribute to all AD attributes that need to be blanked out
7.
Create Workflow “Remove Flow Info to AD” to remove “Flow Info to AD” Sync Rule
8.
Create Workflow “Apply Null Info to AD” to apply “Null Info to AD” Sync Rule
9.
Create MPR to apply “Remove Flow Info to AD” and “Apply Null Info to AD” Workflows on Transition In to “Hide Info” set.
Obviously, you’ll need a null MV attribute for each data type you need to blank out, but it works.
I haven't tried it, but it's likely this could also be done on inbound flows, provided you have unused attributes of each type in your data set (with a view you could
just create them). If X, then flow regular attribute from the CS in to the MV; if not X then flow the "null" attribute from the CS into the MV.
