The difference is in the segments that each one includes, you can check it in transaction WE30 for example for
the IDOC Type HRMD_A07 (which is linked to HRMD_A)vs. the IDOC type HRMD_ABA05 (which is linked to HRMD_ABA)
The first one manages more record, therefore you can send more infotypes. This is because its manages all the standard OM information.
The HRMD_ABA is more used if your destinatio is a CRM or SRM system which requires less data.

If you wish to use the cellular capabilities of a device, you will need a SIM (unless the carrier uses CDMA which doesn't use SIMs) and you will have to pay a cell carrier. No cell company provides service for free. The only way you will get free Internet is via WiFi to a free and open WiFi access point, as sometimes is offered in public buildings or by some businesses.

Could not start the hyperion workspace-web application Error 1067

Hi,
I have installed hyperion from scratch in a distributed environment...everything was working fine.......i.e. shared services, workspace, essbase, sql server, and hfm. I was able to logon and navigate different options in the hyperion products...but essbase stopped working when I re-started all four servers ....?
(1) When I restarted all four servers and stopped and restarted all hyperion services as per giving sequence then everything works fine but essbase EAS console and workspace web console...i was getting error message " could not connect to administration server" whenever i try to connect EAS console to essbase then I went to services there I saw workspace agent and workspace web application service is down.
(2) as soon as I started those both services then my shared services automatically stopped but I was able to logon in Essbase console and workspace console but my shared services are down...
(3) as soon as I start shared service they started but my workspace agent and workspace web application automatically stopped...and when I try to start again workspace web application then I get this error "[ Could not start the hyperion workspace-web application services on local computer. Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly]"
I have been searching online and googling but have a hard luck to get some best solution for this...can some one help me or guide me to walk through with this issue...

I solved this issue...It was with Hyperion Services those were stop responding some how.....but I stopped each service and restarted then those started working again...

Redeploy the Financial Reporting Web Application

Hello,
In one of the patch we have to apply, there is a step :
"Redeploy the Financial Reporting Web Application using the EPM configuration tool."
But when I go to the Weblogic server and run the EPM System Configurator, I expect to see "Financial Reporting Web Application"
Instead of this, I see "Reporting and Analysis" then "Deploy to Application Server"
Is it the same thing ?

No, you must use the EPM configuration tool, if you go to Start->All Programs->Oracle EPM Systems->Foundation Services.
You will see the EMP Configuration tool wich it usually resides here:
%HYPERION_HOME%\common\config\9.5.0.0\configtool.bat
Once you run it you can follow the "on screen" instructions, it is pretty self explanatory.

SharePoint 2013 : Content organizer rules to move the document across web applications

Hi,
I wanted to move the document in drop off library to another web application based on the metadata values.I am thinking of doing this using content organizer rules but I am not sure it will help across web application.
Is there any other out of the box or no customization solution to achieve this requirement?

According to your description, my understanding is that
you want to move documents across web applications and keep the metadata. Is it right?
For moving documents across web applications, you can use Send To connection to achieve it. However, it may cause some meta data missing.

Problem when running the cookie WAR web application

          This relates to the cookie example mentioned in your "Web Application (WAR) examples" section. This is the example where a cookieWar.war is created and moved to the /weblogic/myserver directory. I followed the exact steps mentioned therein. but when I'm loading the "http://localhost:7001/cookie" I noticed that I'm getting the following excetion in the WebLogic console,

Cross Farm: User Profile Custom Properties do not show up in the consumer farm web applications

I have a two SharePoint 2010 farms, one is the publishing farm and user profile service is running on this farm. I have defined a couple of new custom properties, and after a while these custom properties do not show up at the consumer farm end.
So, on the publishing farm, I can udpate the user profiles with values in these custom properties. However, neither the custom properties nor the values got synchronized to the consumer farm. What puzzled me further is that some of the existing custom properties
exist on the consumer farm, but not the new custom properties I recently added.
1. I have made sure the application pool accounts on both the farms being added to the administrators with full control permission in UPS on the publishing farm.
2. The User Profile Service proxy (connected to the publishing farm UPS application) is associated with all the web applications on the consumer farm.
3. When values in the user profiles on the publishing farm changed, these changes do not get replicated to the consuming farm user profiles. This symptom occurs on both custom and OOB user profile properties.
However, I cannot find any other related information on the web, nor from the ULS logs.

As I understand, it did not display the new custom properties you defined in the publishing farm at the consumer farm end.
1. Check if the topology Discovery Service Application runs well in consuming farm. In the Central Administration, it is the Application Discovery and load Balancer Service Application, check if it starts.
In the IIS, it is the topology, check if it starts.
2. Check the permissions have been established if you have established consumer farm permissions on Provider Farm before you publish the service application.
1. Go to Central Administration and going to “Manage Service Applications”.
2. Click on “Application Discovery and Load Balancer Service Application” and click “Permissions” from the ribbon.
Your farm GUID should be listed with full permissions.

Error on the installation of Web Application Server Java 6.40 SP9 on my PC

Hi, All,
I got the following error when I try to install Web Application Server Java 6.40 SP9 on my laptop using the CD that comes with the Book 'Java Programming with the SAP Web Application Server'. I'm currently using window XP.
The installation failed on the 3rd step 'SAP System Installation'.
I logged on my laptop as my own userid, but I should have the administrator's rights.

FSL-00001 System call failed. Error 2 (The system cannot find the file specified.
) in execution of system call 'LoadUserProfile' with parameter (thread token for IT-899\j2eadm, j2eadm), line (616) in file (synxccuren.cpp).
Do you have any ideas what it means? Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Not able to connect to the EAS using web application

I've upgraded Essasbe from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4. Before the upgrade am able to login into the EAS web application using the But after the upgrade to 11.1.1.4 am not able to login using the above said hostname but rather with the the new
My question is why did this happen.. It it something got to do with the upgrade.

Well where did you get new host name from? and where did the configurator get the host name from
What happens if you ping dbhysbstst-db0-bkp is it the same ip as the EAS server

Please help me to undeploy web applications without starting weblogic.

My colleague deployed his web application to my weblogic domain. However, the domain cannot be started after deployment. How to undeploy that application without starting the weblogic?
I use weblogic 10.3.3. His application uses servlet and jsp and tests that application in weblogic 10.3.2

Delete the application from the deploy directory. The domains/base_domain/autodeploy is the directory for auto deployed applications, which get deployed when server is started. Or, the domain's InstallDir directory.

preface: (This whole project was shot with Canon 5DM2 - I don't remember if the cameras were set at 24 or 30 fps ) so as i am learning about the export options i am also learning (the hard way) about the seq settings.
Right now on my current project (fashion show) I have 9 designers that walked the runway, so i am creating 9 timelines in a project. for each designer/tl i will output (.mov)vimeo and facebook seg for each one. i have edited 4 designers so far and i think i have some issues and i need to learn more about seq settings and also output options.
I am also delivering a physical dvd. I created a FINAL tl that i am dropping each (nested) designer segment onto. when i created this tl i must have set it up as dv ntsc - (out of habit)-and i think that is the choice for going to physical dvd?not sure?.
the first 2 designers i set the seq settings at dv ntsc and they fit (nested ) on the "final" tl, ///however i think i had to resize all those clips (I didn't know why they weren't right. - honestly i can't remember///
ANYWAYS, Designers 3 and 4= i had set the seq settings at canon xf mpeg2 1080i/p
Should all the designers seg be set at canon xf mpeg2 1080i/p (i selected 1080p30) but i really don't know if it was 24 or 30 (is that information in clip info somewhere?)
Can I change a seq setting once the timeline is edited on? = please don't tell me i have to re=edit. yikes What should the correct settings be?
Is there a work around to put designers 1&2 (dv ntsc settings) on same tl with 3&4 (canon xf mpeg 1080p30) ?
Finally what setting should that final (NESTED FINAL timeline all designers) be? - for output to physical DVD ( JVC-Taiyo Yuden )

Using Time Machine, is it possible to backup all of my old emails. If so, please describe the process.

I would like to be able to backup all of my old emails and remove them from the MacBook Pro HDD. I am using Time Machine and a Promise Pegasus RAID display. I can't seem to find any information about how this might be accomplished. If any one knows how to do this, please post the process in as much detail as possible. Thanks to all who respond.

You cannot use a Time Machine backup as a substitute for storage on your computer's hard drive. For that you need a separate storage-only hard drive. If you haven't space on your hard drive, then you should think about getting a larger hard drive and/or moving files to a permanent storage drive.
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

How to organize the structure of multipanel application

I need to create a multi panel application where must be active only one panel, so my connection to DB have to be passed to an active panel only. So, how can I pass my connection from one panel to another if my panels are created as separate projects with separate application workspaces and are joined to main project as jar libraries.
