Please enter a valid server URL when attempting to register on a custom sync server.

This happens in the dialog when attempting to enter a custom sync server URL. Soon after typing http:// or https:// or even if you type any single character and wait a few seconds, the words "Please enter a vlid server URL" appear under the entry field next to a X in a red box.
After entering a complete and valid URL the above text never goes away and the "next" button never gets enabled. Including after filling all the rest of the dialog. that error message remains and it is impossible to go forward.
This happens on all of my desktop Firefox installations. I can't test it on a mobile device as it is not possible to create an account that way.
I've tried it with and without a port number in the URL.

Try to ask advice on IRC (irc.mozilla.org) in the #sync channel as mentioned at the bottom of the article.

If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method in all countries - from this page :
You may be able to use other payment types in your country, like debit and Maestro cards.
which implies that they are not accepted in all countries, and there have been a number of posts about them being declined.
Is the card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management.
Or do you have a credit card that you could use instead ?

Weve an BI 7.0 System with Patch Level SP12 which is previously connected to an NW 7.0 Portal System + BI Java that has SP13 installed.
Were able to create Queries and Web Templates via Query Builder and WAD for BI 7.0 and publish to portal.
Recently, weve installed a new NW 7.0 Portal + BI Java with same package level. We made the configurations for Bex via Template Installer and everything is ok.
Our reports has a 0FISCPER characteristics and when we run the reports in new portal, it displays the report. But when we want to change period and click the button created to set period, a popup opens and errors like "for characteristic 0FISCPER Please enter a valid value " displayed on popup.

When we change BIs Portal back to old one by changing the RSPOR_T_PORTAL table (default portal), it still works there.
What may be cause this situation as it works on one portal and not works on another?

background job which is scheduled in sm37 is giving error for dated 01.01.2009 to 30.01.2009.
But before 31.12.2008 it was working fine
error messege-

Hi,
Did you put the date fields to be dynamic in your variant? i.e if in your variant you specified date range of last year, this will not work for this year and eventually give you an error message that the date is not valid...

Pl do below 2 things:
1 ) Go to Transaction code = OMBA , Click on Goods receipt Documen type button and check whether MIGO_GR is assigned to DOC Type = WE
2 ) Go to Transaction code = OMJJ , Tick Movement type and select 101 Movement type .
Then You need to click on "Allowed Transaction option ( Left pane ) and see whether transaction code MIGO is mentioned for Movement type 101.
it should solve ur problem.

We have a mandotory prompt on 0FISCPER for Web I Report . The promt is present in the universe.
The query works fine in Dev , but in Quality it shows the following error
A database error occured. The database error text is: Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. Please enter a valid value for characteristic 0FISCPER.. (WIS 10901)
The universe is on BW Query and the BW Query works fine.
Can someone please help on this

We have created report level prompts and facing this issue because we were selecting multiple values for prompts.
Its working fine for single selection. Is there any way to enable multi selection for the particular object at the BW end ?
Or else we have to create the prompts (Single selection) at the universe level.

Hi, I have tried to register Adobe Photoshop Extended cs6 Windows using the Serial Number that came with the product. Every time I tried enter the serial number I received an error message "Please enter a valid Serial Number". How come Adobe does not recognise their own serial number?

I am talking about registering the product in MyAdobe not the application. The application accepts the serial number, however, online registration is not accepted. The myAdobe ID is [email protected] and the serial number is [serial number removed]. I've started receiving this message on all of my items when attempting to get a postage rate for a U.S. zip code. My listings have always been set to automatically calculate for Expedited parcel for Canada and the U.S. Buyers have been emailing me asking my shipping rates for the U.S. because they are getting the same error. I haven't changed anything and use the same shipping policy for all listings. Is this a bug? No U.S. buyers can see my shipping rates and I am manually having to find a rate upon sending them an invoice. Is anybody else experiencing the same issue?? I have no idea what the problem could be as I have said, I haven't changed anything and they were working fine a few days ago!!

Quite often when there is a problem with the shipping calculator, the wrong information is being entered.Unfortunately if you put in the wrong measurement for a service and or use a service that doesn't exist in thatcountry, the calculator won't warn you. Out of all your current and completed listings, I only see 1 time when U.S. shipping was calculated and that's for the ipod. All of the other listings say shipping not specified. If you are using expedited U.S. the most common problem is putting in smaller measurements than what is allowed. The minimum is different for Canada Expedited and the U.S. expedted so just because the Canadian shipping is working doesn't mean that U.S. expedited is going to work as well. The minimum dimensions for expedited parcels within Canada are 10cm x 7cm x 1 mm The minimum dimensions for USA expedited parcel are 21 x 14 x 0.5 CM Tracked packet USA and small packet USA allow smaller packages -140 mm x 90 mm x 1 mm Maximum 1 kg If that's not the problem let us know.

Query Designer: Error-msg: Please enter a valid value for charact 1FORMULA

Hello BI friends,
when I open a query in the Query Designer (or change query from BEx Analyzer) I get this message. There is no detail description for the message. After pressing the OK-button in the message I get an u201Demptyu201D Query Designer (to create a new or open a query).
The query contains some formulas, I know. I have checked the query by starting it via RSRT and debugging. There is only a warning (exception contains a non-numeric value).
But how can I check the formulas, exceptions or something else if the Query Designer doesnu2019t show the query definition?

Unfortunately I didn't mention yet that we have BI 7.0, but I'm using a 3.x query and 3.x QD. The query has not been transfered to 7.0 level (I hope it, since other colleagues work in the system too). How can I check the level (3.x / 7.0) of the query?
I have checked the table RSZRANGE, but I didn't find any row for the char. 1FORMULA, I have checked the fields IOBJNM, FACIOBJNM and ATTRINM. I also didn't find a row for RSRREPDIR-COMPUID = RSZRANGE-ELTUID. Did I search in a wrong way?
I have also checked the program COMPONENT_RESTORE, but I didn't start it for the IProv, comp type = REP and the special query, because I'm not sure what I'm doing there exactly (the program has no documentation).
Is it still the same way as you have described under these conditions?

Yes, Ive seen this before. You will need to contact TAC. The licensing group was able to manually issue a license.
