Hai Folks,
i have developed an web application, which is a product for a bank.
evry thing was working fine.As a new requirement i had a challenging task.
Task is that, when the user log into my application, none other than this application should be visible on the screen, even the IE menu.
Open any of the web application nd PRESS F11, see the screen appears. My req. is without pressing F11, when the user logs in automatically it should open as such(AS F11 is PRESSED.)
This is possible in apllication developed in C. If anyone can help me out in this respect, i would be very thank ful.

Somebody please EXPERT look at this with me and try to explain the problem.

here is my site. www.subzerorefrigeration.com I have a template set up for the entire site that is at www.subzerorefrigeration.com/cityweather.html
I added two images to the bottom of the template page that say schedule service and one says schedule estimate, they slightly changed color with a mouse over. I used the mouse over command right from simply was mouse over and change to image 2 that was working fine and all. Then I ran the W3C validation and it came up with a bunch of errors for the script adobe put on the page.
Here is what I was doing.
I was looking at the schedule and estimate buttons on the bottom of a page. I do not remember what page I was on, more than likely had several open at the time.
For some reason I did a validate WC3 page and came up with a bunch of warning errors for the mouse over script in the head of the page for the schedule and estimate button .png photo switch.
THEN I think I tried to run a browser check or another check on another page and it gave me warnings for the bottom table that said footerblue has already been identified. So when I looked at the code it said Id footerblue class footerblue something like that so I took out the class footerblue and is all that did was made my table squares white again. Then I said well why don’t I try to remove the code in the head for the schedule and estimate buttons so I removed this script from the code, I would have to sadly say I was working on my template page as I think about it now,
Why in the heck am I getting ERRORS from something that ADOBE has easily put into their program. This is not something that I did maybe I do not know where? I just put a simple mouse over on the photos.
After that I lost my spry menu bar. So next I took my index page and opened it and said ok lets just save this as citydata template. I did that it asked me to save, my spry menu bar came back on all pages but only the index have the working drop downs. The other pages have background colors I do not ever remember the spry menu having but next I did also try to copy a old spy script to the spry folder. Then I almost probably nearly had a heart attack and had to lay down after I saw all the pages that were messed up.
I remember saying to myself why did these pages no update all of a sudden and I wrote them down

Now I have a spry menu bar that WORKS on the index.html page and all the other menu bars do not work. Well the ones I have looked at. HOW can that be looking at a different folder for my spry on the same site? Also worth noting is I set up a testing server for some php on the contactus.html page the other day that seems to be working now but did not seem to work the other day.
I am mainily wonderin how can I have to different / one functional and one semi functional spry menu bars on the same site? It all goes back to the same folder from what I can see.
Please take the time to helpme here. I already redid this one time because the templates did this to me.... I was doing great until I ran the validator again and discovered errors. I WAS ERROR Free before the two images. except the pages that have the weather widget on them.

Not really. It probably helps to ask questions in a less complex way. I think that on a forum, people who help want to be able to quickly see what it is they can help with and are more likely to spend their time on those questions. also if you ran an older version of the applet that didnt run, your browser may be using the cached version. I would disable caching on the Java RE.

Hey thanks. I am able to log into the site. I also got the code but again i found that the code is written by taking points and colors to create the shapes. I need some codes in which the shapes are created by taking colored images somewhat in this way,

colorImage[1] = TrackPicture.loadImage("./images/square_blue.png", 29, 29);
colorImage[2] = TrackPicture.loadImage("./images/sqaure_yellow.png", 29, 29);
colorImage[3] = TrackPicture.loadImage("./images/sqaure_green.png", 29, 29);
These are the images and by taking co-ordinates they are joined to create shapes. I have tried combining them through the paint( drawImage )method. Please give me some solutions if you have. Thanks in advance.

What about creating an object for the falling piece? The object control de position of its own squares and check for collisions at the bottom of the screen. Then you should work in the screen as it is a grid where pieces are stored, and everytime the falling object touchs some other piece, check what rows are fully filled and move those which are over it.

Building a Forum - Help over this topic

I’m intending to build a forum like the one that we are
using at this moment.
I’m basically a designer and I have experience building
web pages on my computer and then transferring all through FTP to a
Host with the Dreamweaver. So everything is simple stuff up to now.
Now I want to go a step further and start to build a Forum
but I’m not sure if Dreamweavre has the capability to build,
run, and update such applications.
If it does. Could some one give me a hint to the right
direction? Some examples, some tutorials, templates?
The forum is though to be serving some 100,000 persons, at
the same time that publicity space is sold through the site.
I need to know if it’s possible to build such an
application directly on my computer and then export everything to a
host, manage users of the site and control publicity.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Dreamweaver is certainly capable of support the development
of a forum application, but are you? To succeed you will need to
become proficient in database design, SQL, and some programming
(scripting) language. Based on your question, I would guess you're
not at that level. I would estimate that it would take 1 good
programmer at least 1 year working full time to build something
equal to the Adobe forums.
Instead, why not just look at integrating one of the many
forum packages that already exist? What server side language were

you can use the add constraint , first add not null , then add primary key
otherwise drop the column and add with primary key constraint

No, it's not normal.
Your iPod is reporting that you have not yet used up any space on your iPod's hard drive... even though you have a lot of content on there.
A Restore typically resolves this issue.

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.

I'm currently reading through literature about using the default DOM in java 1.4 to read/write XML documents. But there's no mention of reading RDF (resource description framework) in XML documents.
Do i just use the normal way (ie NodeList etc) to read/write the docs or is there a better way?

Adf swing form login problem (Frank, look at this please)

Hi All. I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3
Can anybody please give me a clue on how to create a simple stand alone adf swing form with a login dialog and the oracle jaas authentication?
For me this kind af appllications works well only in design time :(. When i try to launch my generated .jar application the login dialog does appear but the authentication
doesn't work "incorrect username or password".
So i think i followed all the instructions from jDeveloper online help concerned with generating a login dialog... but my application still doesn't work properly after deployment.
Please somebody look at what i've done and tell what is wrong.
1. I created an adf swing form with a login dialog.
2. I set the jbo.security.enforce property for my application module to Must.
3. I added to my application a dialog for adding, removing and modifying application users via oracle.security.jazn api.
4 I tested my appllication in Jdeveloper. It works great! I even added a number of application specific default users via my application.
5. I assured myself that the oc4j security library has been added into the adf/swing project as well as into the deployment profile.
6. I deployed my apllication to a .jar file.
7. I created "config" folder inside the directory where the.jar file has been dropped. I copied there the following files: jazn.xml and system-jazn-data.xml (the last one file includes all my previously created principals) from /jdev_home/j2ee/home/config.
8. Now when i start the application the login dialog appears as i've mentioned but authentication doesn't work.
I found only one similar topic over the whole forum:

Hi, rob nice to learn that i'm not the only one stumbled over this issue.
Hope that this question will be finally answered...
...just a few additional comments.
1. It appears that the position of the jazn.xml and jazn-data.xml files pointed in the documentation (config subfolder of the root .jar's folder) is right for if i rename or delete the jazn.xml it runs into the error: jazn configuration file not found, but nevertheless it works strange, it looks like it doesn't use the mentioned files at all....given the fact the i've already spent a number of days experimenting and looking for a solution i learned that after a first startup the files mentioned above (jazn.xml and jazn-data.xml) are modified in some way that prevents using them on another oc4j server instance (if i have i.e. another jdeveloper instance, i cant run and go through authentication in my application by simply coping the old jazn.xml and system-jazn-data.xml files into the /jdev_home/j2ee/home/config
folder...instead i need to copy a pure "initial" jazn.xml file from the initial jdeveloper archive) ... something like the thing mentioned here:

also i noticed that if there is no system-jazn-data.xml file in the config folder it is created automatically after a first startup...so when i tried to delete the system-jazn-data.xml file from my deployed application's folder it would't create a new one though it saw the jazn.xml file (since no "jazn configuration file not found" error had ever appeared)...i also tried to place "pure" copies of jazn configuration files in my config subfolder but of course it would give no effect.
2. i also changed the login.module.provider as well as the auth.policy.provider properties in the java.security file as documentation sais - no effect.
So it would be great if Frank gave us a direct link to the white paper he was working on (and i hope had finished :) few years ago....or even better gave me the simpliest example of a finished adf swing application with authentication implemented.

if U are a regular to this forum, U would know my case already.. I bought a Creative Zen Touch 20 GB on 8th January 2005 from a well-known shop in Cologne, Germany..add to the fact/misery that I li've/stay in Belgium & I was in a visit to Cologne & I bought this over there!..Ok..and it didnt work straight out of the box & all the time it was freezing!! So posted my plight/misery on this forum & also sent mails to Creative Support.. The unanimous conclusion was I have a faulty player & I have to rush back to the shop to get it replaced..So I called the shop & they said that I can come over & get a new one as it is just one week old!..So somehow I manged to find time & money(for the travel) and I went to Cologne last friday and I came back to Belgium thinking that my problems are over & I am gonna listen to music! Well how wrong I was!
I came to Belgium & charged it for 4 hours & here I need to mention 2 differences I found from my previous faulty one!
Difference : My previous faulty player had english as the default language whereas the replacement had german as the default language.
Difference 2: My previous faulty player had some preloaded songs whereas the replacement didnt have any!
So I loaded some mp3 songs into the replacement mp3 player & started playing it & it did play one song(or half of it) & I wanted to go the next song..there was my misery! it simply froze and after that I redid all the rescue options & whatever I did gave me 'harddisk error'..its simply not going anywhere!
Sorry to use some strong words..atleast last time when my player didnt work, I felt cheated but now I feel cheated+harassed+...
Add to it amount of time & money I am wasting on this..its simply getting worse & worse! All I wanted was an mp3 player to play songs & I am being taken for a ride for this..
The people here, please do respect/understand my feelings and please dont try to defend Creative! For me, Creative sounds destructi've!
Anyway.. I am just lost by this harrowing experience! I can only wish that it shouldnt happen even to my worst enemy! I hope I dont get nightmares every time I listen to some kind of music! this is really distressing!

I just sent a mail to one <<name deleted>> of the Creative Labs who has been sending me emails/replies to my hotmail account. He was the one who also suggested to me that I have to return it back to my dealer!(the first faulty one!).. I sent him a mail today as he had asked to give me the model number, serial number etc..Basically I dont know whats the best & fastest way of getting my mp3 player replaced..and also I am stunned by the fact that the shop person might have given me a refurbished piece as a replacement!( if U read the first feedback in this thread!)...Anyway, it doesnt matter.. I am even prepared to take an mp3 player which is 5 years old because I just want a working mp3 player just to solve my basic wish of listening to music!

Been stuck for over a year, please help me do this

so i have this laptop with 8gb ram and core i7 as well as 2 hdd (no raid).
Now i heard about premiere (cs4) and my laptop is ready to take most of the advantage but the hard drive is the bootleneck.
Basically, all i want is to do few cuts in a video that was filmed by sony hdr-sr11 camcoder in hd 1080 60i settings. Now i heard i need 3 hard drives etc, but at the moment, i only have 2.
So is there anyway i can do simple cuts in premiere without losing any quality and slowdown in fps or is there any other software that can be better? I really don't want to lose any quality or fps with the g73jh-a2 asus laptop i have?
i also have ati 5870 video card

The lowest was 19mb, but was floating arond 30mb. Still that aint good..
I can't afford the partition magic and i heard its not good to partition after installing windows. I am thinking of fresh install, but if there is a workaround, it would save me tons of time as not installing apps etc.
For the setup
1)Can i have the programs in secondary drive? What about just a game or 2?
2)By projects, do you mean the videos that im going to edit?
3)what is scratch?
4) By media, do you mean videos im going to edit?
Lastly, what about a bit of data? Like <50gb.. Pictures documents etc

Those figures are disturbing. For any reasonably modern 7200 RPM disk these figures should be around 120 - 60 MB/s. If it goes down to below 20, something is seriously wrong. Now that may be caused by your partitioning or something else, hard to discern from here, but these results are worrisome.
Maybe Partition Magic can help you get rid of all these partitions, otherwise a complete reformat and fresh install of OS & programs is all that is left.
Setup should be something like this:
C: OS & programs & projects
D: Pagefile, scratch and media
It depends a bit on the nature of your projects, your workflow, but in general you set up your disks in such a way that disk accesses are spread over the available disks as much as possible.

What I am curious about, is that some of the lettering often looks blurry, although the page is 500pixels per inch 8.5x11, 76MB .psd file. What can I do about that?
Also, I want to make it easy to write and edit the actual content that will go onto the page. Not all of us here have photoshop to edit the lettering. Is there a way I can export this to word so they can edit the content whenever? Are there better options (programs) to help me design this template? I am guessing I am somewhat pushing photoshops limit as to making a bound 5-page presentation. I am stuck and would like this to be easier. All suggestions for both of my questions as well as overall action toward making this would be great.

Since photoshop can not do pages, your on the right track by using pdf format. Since it can do pages, but really requires acrobat pro to bind the pages together.
Your best bet is InDesign then Illustrator would be the next option. Each of these can do multi page documents.
There is absolutely no reason to use 500px/inch for the resolution anything between 150 and 300 would suffice leaning towards 300ppi.
If the text is blurred a few things that can cause that, 1) anti-aliasing 2) document was created as a low resolution then upsampled 3) text is rasterized 4) document is rasterized.

Okay I just recently got an Ipod whih is gret and all but my problem is with this Itunes I bought four shows 1 song and a video. But 2 three shows and a video only downloaded . The other four would download then start all over again.This is really ticjing me off because I've been trying to get these shows on my ipod for hours and my computer has been on for hours. Also the process to recievethe shows take extremely long so what am I to do??? Someone Please help me..

The iTunes store has been unavailable for more than three hours or more (6pm EST until now - 9:20 pm), so I expect this is where your problem lies. I guess we will just have to wait for Apple to fix the fault.
Part downloads should resume when the store becomes available. You will see the 'unavailable' message if you go to the Store menu in iTunes and then scroll to Check For Purchases... you may have to log in if you do not have auto log in enabled.
