Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless. -
Ever since I updated the Bejeweled Blitz on my 3G iPod, The game kept crashing so I deleted & re-installed it.
Sadly, I now can't play the game on my iPod anymore because new version is compatible with the 4G & iSo or higher only.

Why can I not load pictures from a micro SD 64gb using scan disk adapter plugged into an Apple iPad camera connection kit. I have the iPhoto app but pictures not being seen on iPad. So incredibly frustrating. Apple please fix this.
Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

suddenly quit retrieving my Yahoomail. I have checked my settings and done all suggestions, except deleting and restarting my Yahoo acct. Yahoo says I would loose all my data. Please fix this. What to do?You can safely delete your account FROM YOUR IPAD with no issues what so ever. I've done it a few times.
Go into the settings, mail, contacts and calendars, delete the account and then re add it. (What yahoo means about losing your data is if you close down your account with them, not just off your devices)
If you do remove it from your iPad, it will delete hte data. But just off your device. (at least taht's been my experience). Once you readd hte account it'll redownload the mails.
Or you can also just wait. Yahoo has been 'improving' their servers and have been causing randomly persistent outages for months now. Usually when they are working on the server your mail is on, you have issues.
You can wait them out or find work arounds. For example, even if hte mail app messes up, you can still use safari to access your mail. -
Connecting external drive crashes iMovie 8 - Apple please fix this!
If I have external drives connected when I start iMovie 8 it will crash when it tries to index them.
Also if I have no drives connected and iMovie 8 running, the program will crash as soon as I connect a drive.
Apple, please fix this! I need to use external drives for storing of my videos.Are your external drives formatted as Mac OS Extended / HFS+ ..? They should be.
If they aren't, you'll have to remove whatever's already stored on them, and then re-format them using Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility. You can then put back what was stored on them.
(P.S: I have NO crashes using iMovie '08 and any correctly-formatted external FireWire drives. I don't use external USB drives, as they're not fast enough for the sustained read/write speeds which video requires.) -
Firefox for android automatically downloads an IP app, very annoying. Please fix this.
As soon as I start browsing on firefox, it automatically downloads an IP app, doesn't install it, but the app just stays in my downloads folder. Happens every time. Please fix this.
The app is from https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/ip?src=search we auto update installed apps so is it possible that is was already or previously installed on the phone?

The scroll feature(middle button) is not working on the new firefox 4. So because of this I need to move the scroll bar to move the page. This is very irritating problem, if you are a guy who uses the middle button to scroll. Can you please fix this..
Thanks!!!I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
So glad to get this working again. -
Hey. So I recently just upgraded from my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 Plus. I am very impressed with how smoothly it is working. The graphic enhancements are amazing, too! However, I noted a few bugs that are still there since iOS 8's debut and they are kinda annoying and I want apple to get rid of them. First of all -- this one is EXTREMELY annoying -- is the multitasking feature. I love the way it works, but, um, it shows content that no longer exists. For example, say that you were about to close ten tabs from the multitask bar. But before you did that, you were on safari and you finally closed a web page. Once you click on the home button and you double press it, say you scroll to the safari app, you see the content you were recently viewing even though it's not really there. I'm sorry this is kinda hard to understand, I'm only 14. Another noted bug also involves the home button. Say you are on the weather application. You go to the multitasking bar and you close the tab. Just as you are about to, you repeatedly press the home button before it fully closes the application. Once its closed, you get stuck on a blank home screen, or in some cases, your left without your status bar (carrier, time, battery, etc.). One final thing I want to jot down is a new feature. I love iOS 8's capabilities, but it needs something. A few software update(s) ago, I remember apple added a feature to switch between 2G, 3G, and 4G along w/ LTE. I already know that it varies upon your carrier if they released 4G or not. But I want to be able to use 2G for battery saving and data consuming purposes. I only have 300 MB on my plan (AT&T), and I'm pretty sure phablets use a whole lot of data. I want to be able to switch between 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE, and I'm pretty sure other people do too. That's all I have to say. Please fix this apple, or are there any solutions to prevent these errors? Thanks.

I've never experienced the error you're attempting to describe. But then, I can't figure out why you're throwing in that extra tap on the Home button.
The presence or absence of the ability to switch to 3G or 2G is carrier dependent. The carrier, not Apple determines if that setting is made available. In the U.S., carriers are in the process of deprecating their older, slower networks. They don't want you using them unless absolutely necessary because the newer networks are unavailable. The older networks don't have nearly the capacity of the newer ones. -
My screen is completely dimmed out. I can barely see my screen now. Please fix this
I was working on my assingments, and after some time my screens brightness has gone very low. I just cannot see my desktop, but my laptop is working just fine. Please fix this display issue. So, now I work on my laptop by connecting a HDMI cable from my Laptop to TV.

Is it coming through as a winmail.dat file ? If it is then you could try one of the winmail.dat apps from the store and see if that works with it.
Or is it coming through as a PDF but isn't downloading, opening or displaying correctly ? If so then is just the one PDF, all PDFs, from one sender ? Have you tried closing the Mail app via the taskbar and seeing if the PDF opens/displays when you re-open the app ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar. -
After installing iOS 7 camera stopped working normally. I can't take pictures with the back camera only the front camera. All was good before the update. Please fix this bug.

If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Third-party cases can interfere with the autofocus/exposure feature and the flash; try removing the case if you have image-quality issues with photos.
Try turning the iPad off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try switching between the front and the back cameras to verify if the issue persists on both.

Zoom option in accessibility enabled automatically and icon become so large. So not able to access (even call any no.) phone. Please fix this problem.
Update: I tried the "Toshiba Recovery Wizard" after everything else either fizzled out or hung up. After going all the way thru the recovery process (up to 100%), I finally got an error message.....it didn't work. And now, when I fire up the computer, I don't even get to that menu with the recovery options....the only thing I can boot into is the screens with the various ways to run your OS (in "safe mode", "safe mode with networking", etc).
I'm not a techie, but I'm guessing at this point, the part of my hard drive that got damaged in the fall was, at the very least, the partition with the recovery data. Couple that with the fact that this cheapo Toshiba laptop didn't even come with recovery disk (or ANY kind of disk, even basic installation software!), I'm screwed: I don't see any way to get a workable computer now without some kind of disk to boot from. So NOW my concern is more about spending the $$ for a new OS and THEN finding out the hard drive has other problems too...is broken in some other way to boot.
How to check this? As I said, I did run "chkdsk" back when I could get into the recovery menu and run the fix-it programs. It didn't note any problems. Thinking of taking this opportunity to upgrade to Windows 7 from Vista (which I never liked), but I have to know that the computer is otherwise ok....how to be sure?
