Please help, 60gb 5th gen, error (-69)

i bought a 60gb black 5th gen iPod off ebay, and when i plugged it in, it started uploading my music. it got too about 2,500 songs (about half my library) and it freeze's and come up with an error message, saying something along the lines of 'unknown error cannot read file'. I've tried again and again, resoring the iPod and such, but it comes up with the original error message and the (-69) error message. It's not my computer because i had a perfectly fine iPod nano (untill i lost it). can anybody help? I have contacted the seller but as it's 11 o'clock they havn't replied yet. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it greatly! thanks

I've followed the instructions by removing all Apple files from my laptop, but when I reinstall the iTunes software it still comes up with this message:

I know this is a bit late but I came accross this thread trying to resolve this same problem and came up with a solution that worked for me, so thought I would share it here too. I hope it helps someone else.
I just resolved this on Win Vista (should apply equally for Win7 too). Please uninstall iTunes before proceeding though. I'll walk you through the process I followed, if you like you can jump straight to the Solution section.
Problems:
The initial error during the installation of iTunes was:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publicKeyToken='1fc8b 3b9a1e18e3b",processorarchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT:0x8007054F
The error (after installing iTunes) when trying to run iTunes was:
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again. Error 2 (Windows error 2).
After trying various fixes around the forums I came across this MSKB article, which relates to the first installation error:

This lead me to trying to install MS Visual C++ but I received the following error trying to install that:

Note: The installation of VC++ rolls back when it fails.
Solution:

The Automated MS "Fix It" msi package didn’t work.
Note: Please backup your registry first (see the above MSKB article for instructions).
I opened the registry and (as instructed in the MSKB article) deleted the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\
PendingXmlIdentifier
NextQueueEntryIndex
AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving
Reboot and reinstall iTunes.

Please help me, two similar errors 1772 and 2080

Hello, I have a problem. I went to ign.com and when the page loaded an advertisement also loaded, ign.com always has advertisements. Well the advertisement minimized itself so I opened it and closed it, and my whole browswer shut down and I received an error message on my desktop called hs_err_pid1772. I didn't know what it was, so I looked on the internet and there isn't a single page on it. I found one forum page, and a few people said they got the same error, but no fixes. I jumped on my laptop and again went to ign.com, the advertisment loaded, I closed it, and BAM, the whole browser shut down again and on my laptop I got the error message hs_err_pid2080, its almost identical to the 1772 error I received on my desktop. Was it just the advertisement screwing everything up or what? Also when I went back to ign.com after, I went back a few times after the error, my browswer froze quickly. I have gotten ign.com to work once out of the 5 or so times I tried after the error. Obviously this error is coming from ign.com since I got it on my desktop and laptop right when I went to their site. But I dont know what it means. I am also using 1.4.2_04 for my java plugin. The contents of the hs_err_pid1772 are here, and they are almost identical to the 2080 error I received on my laptop. I just don't get why I got two different errors off the same website on two different computers, anways, this is the 1772 error?

hs_err_pidXXXX is the file that is generated when the hotspot crashes.
I would think that
hs== hotspot
err== error
pidXXXX== process id, being windows, it should be PID under task manager.
I loaded www.ign.com and it seemed fine to me. I am using IE too but with 1.4.2_05.

Hi. Major issues!!
My computer was unplugged for 2 weeks (renovations). When I set it up in my new office, none of my applications would open! (Microsoft, Adobe, AOL, etc...) Safari is working.
I get this error message:

Here's what I've tried...
I have tried to install combo update 10.3.9. .. didn't work.
My computer was purchased in 2004... just moved to a new house... do not know where my installation dvd is... so to reboot on that is not an option.
I tried disk repair permissions... didn't work!
I opened my log console to view the crash logs... and it appears a lot has crashed... but I can not understand what any of it means!?!
Can anyone help or offer some advice?
Can anyone understand a crash log if I post it?
Please help!?! Taking an online masters course and this is a major dilemma!

No, you can no longer purchase 10.3 Panther disks from Apple Stores, online or otherwise. You may however, be able to purchase replacement disks for your computer (if Mac OS 10.3 were the original install disks that came with your mac) by calling Apple and explaining and having the serial number ready of the computer.
If your installation of 10.3 was an upgrade you can purchase retail copies of 10.3 disks online from many resellers, such as on ebay or sites such as FastMac, but be sure to purchase a retail box set and not upgrade or machine specific disks.
Did you perform all of the steps that Kappy steered you to in Dr. Smoke's FAQ first and your only option left is the Archive and Install?

Need help connecting 5th gen Time capsule via wifi to existing wifi network(non-apple) and use ethernet out to AV receiver?

Could anyone help advise me how to use my 5th gen time capsule airport to connect to my existing wireless modem(non-apple) over the wireless network (NOT using the WAN port with a cable) and then connect with an ethernet cable to give internet connectivity to my AV Receiver? I would also like to be able to back up my macbook pro with the time machine/time capsule benefit. I know that many AV setups have recommended using airport express to receive wireless connectivity to pass on internet through the ethernet port to AV setups, but I thought I would try to add the extra functionality of the over-the-air backups with the time capsule at the same time. all th queries r working perfectly but the above query. why i dont know, even the same query without the bold area
its working but result working so I want to include bold creteria.
Nothing error displayed, it is hanging on the area while (dbms_sql.Fetch_rows(c)>0)
but with the same query when i tried in isql*plus it display 70 rows, but here it is hanging.
Please help me what is the error.

Yes, I solved it myself just i changed
rtrim(b.partnumber) = rtrim(c.partnumber)

Please help me to solve error: Split mapping created no messages

Hi Experts,
I am facing Split mapping created no messages when i run my scenario.
My Scenario is : Proxy to FILE.
I am triggering Proxy and based on one condition i am generating different Flat Files.
Now when i do this i am getting error :Split mapping created no messages in SXI_MONITOR.
When i check this in Message Mapping by taking data from SXI_MONI its working fine...
but when i trigger the data from RUNTIME WORKBENCH its throughing the error.
When i remove the NameSpaces <ns0:message>
and <ns0:messages1> its working fine.
How can i solve this issue.
Even though i removed Namespace in Message Type, i am getting the error.
I changed occurance of Target message to O..unbounded both in Message Mapping and Interface Mapping.
Its working fine in Message Mapping, problem occurs only when i run end-to-end scenario.
So please help me to solve this issue.

I think there might be mismatch between your name spaces.

are you getting the same structure from your proxies whatever structure you have in your XI structure(sender) and NS should match.
but I dont have exp with proxies.

Hello Technical Experts... please help me on this error :- 'Tax data is missing ArrayOffset 12, srcLineNum 0, srcGroupNum -1'.

In my A/P credit memo screen i have incorporated a column for adding reference to closed A/P Invoices. upon filling this field with DocNum of APInvoice certain other fields also get filled from an SQL query. One among them is the TaxCode. My problem is that the TaxAmount(LC) field at the last row of the matrix is not filled with the appropriate value, it remains 0. On trying to add the document or pressing the link button on the TaxAmount field a status bar error message pops up showing, 'Tax data is missing ArrayOffset 12, srcLineNum 0, srcGroupNum -1'.
Please Help me solve this issue.

I am getting an Error when i try to generate a Web-Service Proxy on JDeveloper for one of the Oracle WorkFlow Services viz., the[b] "TaskService"
ie.,
http://host:port/integration/services/TaskService/TaskServicePort?wsdl
The wizard exits with a fatal warning ( WS-30033 -- which i believe indicates Validation of the WSDL failed..!?!) saying
"uniqueness constraint violation : exception (taskProxy.proxy.faultType already exists)
Could Anyone please Help me w.r.t this..?!?
My requirement is to provide a UI for accessing Human WorkFlow Services...other than JSP...So, i am planning to create a Web-Service PROXY for the important Workflow Services like TaskQueryService, TaskService, etc...& then use the "jars" of these clients to invoke the Web-Services...!
Is there ANY Simpler method of doing this..?!?
I've seen the Code of the UserSampleUI application, but i can't get a similar code working in my Eclipse...don't know Which JARS are required...?!
[i tried bpm-services.jar, & others...but it gives me a run-time exception of type PC Exception...!! :(]
If so, please Do let me know ASAP...!!
[By the way, ALL this is w.r.t. the [b]10.1.3.1.0 version of[b] Oracle SOA Suite...]

You may want to try the 'no data binding' option on the proxy generation. This may enable you to go ahead, with a proxy that is not trying to generate Java code.
Yo can also try to make a local copy of your WSDL and remove the duplicate type declaration. Using the analyze command from WSA CLI is a quick way to do this itterative testing, as it will not generate the code. Once you have the analyze command going thourg the WSDL, you can go back to using genProxy.

Please help me with an error 1418...

OK I have iPod mini 4GB and I have the latest iTunes installed 7.02 or something I don't know anymore.
Anyway a sad iPod icon displayed on my screen a few days ago and I managed to restart it and to put it in a disk mode and then iTunes finally recognized iPod and I clicked on Restore and then Restore and Updated and after a few seconds during the restore process it says:
An iPod 'iPod' couldn't be resoterd. An unknown error occurred (1418).
I am desperate and i don't know what to do.
I read almost everything about this but nothing helped.
Please help me with any kind of solution...
