Please help an idiot - wireless speakers

I bought the T12 Wireless speakers. I honestly read about them on a few different sites and never saw anything about them being wireless. Some folks talked about plugging them into their computer so I figured wireless was not an issue.
Anyway, my laptop does not have Bluetooth so my question is: if I buy the connector from the speaker to my headphone outlet on my laptop (it did not come with the speakers) will I get the same sound quality OR should I just return the speakers and buy non-wireless ones?
I will only be using these speakers with my laptop so I just want something I can plug into the laptop and have "real" speakers (not what comes out of the laptop itself).

I clicked an adobe update (assuming it was the right thing to do) and NOW MY FLASH PLAYER IS BROKEN. My youtube videos say "plug-in failure".
I have tried re-installing Adobe multiple times , with re-starts in between. I even used apptrap to "completely" uninstall adobe reader. NO LUCK

No can do. The phone does not have the suitable software to act as a Wi-Fi/WLAN router/access point.
Use Bluetooth or USB cable (and Nokia PC Suite ), to use your phone as a [packet data] modem.

Can't Import Purchased Music (please help an idiot)

Please let me start off by stating that I must I must be an idiot! What is supposed to be simple is driving me insane!!!! Here it is....
I have music on my work PC that I purchased from iTunes. I originally only used this PC for my iPod. I now have a PC at home and would like to transfer all the music purchased from iTunes on my work PC to the new, home PC and use the nome pc exclusively for my iPod.
I have transferred songs from my work PC onto a thumb drive but they will not import into the new PC. If I insert the thumb drive into the new pc, I can click and drag the songs to my new library and they will play when I click on them. However, if I remove the thumb drive and click on a "transferred song" it says file not found and places an exclaimation point in front of it. If i search for the songs and try to "Import" them from the thumbdrive, iTunes won't let me. At no point does iTunes ever ask me to "authorize" the new PC (to play the songs transferred from my work PC). I can find no method for authorizing the new PC to play the work songs.
I should mention that I did purchase several songs on the new from iTunes under a different account that I opened on the home PC and they play fine. The account that I have used on the work PC has three computers authorized (I should have 2 left). The account on the home PC has only one authorized computer.
What am I doing wrong????? I do have a graduate degree in engineering but I am over 40....Please take this this obvious mental deficiency into account when responding.

Welcome, David, to the Apple Discussions!
On your home computer, go to the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced tab > General sub-tab and make sure that
i Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library is checked.
(That's the path in iTunes 5 and 6. If memory serves in 4 it was either the General tab or the Advanced tab under Preferences.)
Then you don't actually "import" the songs from your thumb drive. Rather go to the iTunes File menu > Add Folder to Library command and select your thumb drive.
Hopefully this will make things better. If not post back.

You can find this information by logging into your my verizon account and clicking on the "View Bill" button. From there you can select the billing cycle in the dropdown box and see all usage and details from the Usage Details tab. Click on the all link above the details and that will display all details. You can either print the web page or you can send the usage details to a spreadsheet.

i have the new itunes, new ios, new iphone.
synced at least one via cable and enabled the option to wirelessly sync with my iphone.
but when i disconnect my phone from the pc then i can never make it sync (even if its charging on a dock not connected to the pc)

Assuming that you are attempting to 'connect' your T|X handheld to your Macintosh using Bluetooth, have you paired and confirmed it using the specific instructions in the User Guide, beginning on page 113? I ask, because your handheld also supports 802.11 connections, but your Macintosh does not for the purposes of file transfer or synchronization.
That three-page set of instructions indicates how you should pair it via Bluetooth with a Macintosh, and how you should initiate a HotSync. It does not describe how to add your device to iSync, if that is what you choose to use in lieu of the Palm Desktop.
To add it as a device to iSync 2 or later, launch iSync and choose Enable Palm OS Syncing… from the File menu, then follow the instructions which appear. This process will preclude the use of the Palm Desktop for synchronizing contact, calendaring and task data. Such data will be synchronized instead with the Address Book and iCal, using iSync.

Help needed - choosing wireless speakers

Hi, I want to be able to play music at home from my iphone but all speaker systems need the iphone to be docked. The only one I found so far (Tango) was mentioned in one of shopping blogs. It looks allright but it will only be available in November. Are there any other suggestions?

HELP ME UNDERSTAND WIRELESS INTERNET PLEASE!!!

IM looking into purchasing a laptop but do not have internet currently, IM totally confused on how works. Can I get wireless internet without a phone jack? Some people have also told me that a satellite laptop would be best but I would need a wireless router to connect do you have to have a service provider or can I surf the web right away? PLEASE help me!

Lets not Confuse Toshiba Sattlelite with wireless capabilties, its just a brand name and does not imply functionality in a specfic way.
There are legal ways to get free wireless internet, one i just mentioned which is the library. If you use your wireless card and find other locations over the airwaves, and they are unsecured, you could essentially hop onto them but its very illegal and there are ways of catching people stealing wireless access from other users.

MacBook speakers and headphones are not working! Please help.

I was watching a movie and my MacBook randomly shutdown by itself. I turned it back on and had no more problems, so I restarted the movie. The audio was not working in my headphones. So I tried the internal speakers and there was still no sound. I did a quick google search which led me to trying various options and finally called Apple Support on the phone.
I've tried resetting my PRAM but it only showed an alternating screen between grey and black. Nothing happened. I also reset SMC but that didn't work either. I have checked everything in system preferences, Audio MIDI, etc. and it all appears to be correct.
While on the phone we found that when I plug headphones or an external speaker in, it does not show up on the "output" menu under System Preferences > Sound.
I do NOT have the money to go to a computer store and the nearest Apple Store is 2 hours away. I desperately need help because most of the work I do involves having to be able to listen to sound. Please help if you can. I'm not ignorant when it comes to computers but I'm no genius. If you have any ideas, please be specific. Your help is very appreciated.
PS. When a speaker is plugged in at first, I hear a little crackling from it. The same happens to what sounds like internal speakers if I start a video.

Thanks. I haven't mixed down the audio or checked the number of tracks in Prefs. Good points.
As far as a mixdown goes, I'll definitely give it a try, though I wonder whether or not the tracks will be recognized during mix down recording - given that you can't hear either of those segments in playback. Just have to try.
Re the preferred number of allowed tracks - I'll go check as soon as I send this off, but I'm not sure that applies in this case, since the two Channels containing the segments that are pinked out are not in additional tracks. I should have mentioned that other audio clips and segments on the same Channels in the SAME tracks ARE heard in playback. As are two additional track in the 2nd Sequence. It's only when the two sequences are joined that the pink tinted segments can't be heard. Within the sequence the same audio cuts playback as they should. Thanks again &

Is there a 'Transferring music' guide for idiots? Please help

Please Help!!! Two problems... 1) Bought a new PC, wanted to transfer music from old PC to new PC. Wasn't sure how to do it, so I copied library onto a memory stick (just by copying and pasting) and downloaded to new PC. Had to do it in sections b/c it all wouldn't fit on one transfer. (Try to stop laughing, I know that probably wasn't the correct way to do it) : ) Anyway, I authorized the new computer, and was able to listen to anything I purchased from ITunes on the old computer, but not any of the music I downloaded from CD's. It gives me an error that says can't locate file, blah blah. Where should I go from here? Start from the beginning? Go back and try to redo each song that did not come over correctly? I'm an idiot, I know, please help.
Problem #2 - I just downloaded new version on new computer and the majority of all songs now have the exclamation point next to them and when I try to listen, it says can't locate file. : / Please say this is not a lost cause!!!

Can see and recognize my wireless network and Internet is working, but I can't connect with ANY computers/iPad/iPod/air TV, etc. I have reset the time machine several times, and can see the network, but cannot access it with any device. PLEASE HELP!

I have Comcast Internet and have it connected to a Motorla Surfboard modem and have that running directly to a 2TB Time Capsule. The TC is serving as our time machine as well as our wireless router. We lost power in a storm a week ago and can no longer connect to my wireless network I can see the network and sign into it via password, but cannot connect with any device(iMac, MacBook, iPhones, iPod touches, air tv, etc.). ALL of these devices worked gat before the power went out. I reset both modem and TC and still can't connect. I can connect to the Internet through Ethernet cord directly from the modems dn have confirmation(per Comcast service) that the Internet is working and we have a good connection.
The TC is less than six months old so I'm not sure what is wrong. I have reset settings with TC to no avail. I have reset the TC SEVERAL times and have no idea what could be wrong and what is prohibiting me from connecting. Anyone that has ANY suggestions or ideas as to how to fix this, PLEASE HELP!!! I'm going crazy using iPad 3G and not being able to connect to our wifi. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING BACK TO THE 21ST CENTURY!

I just moved and wireless internet is now provided for me. I am not using my Time Capsule as a router anymore but can I still use it as my storage device wirelessly? So far I cannot get it to work. Please help.

I just moved to a new place. I used to have my own internet setup and used my Airport Time Capsule as my router. Now that I don't need to use it as a router I would still like to use it as a storage device for my pictures. Can I still do that wirelessly or do I have to plug it into my computer? And if I do (which would really be crumby) do I just use a USB cable?
Please help. I have a lot of work stored on it and I am feeling pretty stuck at the moment.

You can use your Time Capsule in your new network in a number of ways. One would be as a NAS device which I believe you are looking to do.
To do so, you would connect the TC to the new router by Ethernet. You would also want to reconfigure the TC as a bridge and disable its wireless radios.
You can do both of these using the AirPort Utility, as follows:
Run the AirPort Utility.
Select the TC, and then, select Edit.
Select the Network tab.
Change Router Mode to: Off (Bridge Mode)
Select the Wireless tab.
Change Network Mode to: Off
Select Update and allow the TC to restart.
