Please help : application doesn't start...
When I launch my application, the window with "starting application" is load and frozen. I have to use ctrl+alt+del to remove it. When the application is in cache, the logo window of java web start is displaying and after a while disappear with no application :( what can I do... ?

are you able to start any of the demo webstart apps?
If not, there are plenty of threads in this forum in dealing with what you are seeing. Just do a search in this forum and i'm sure you will see tonnes of solutions :-)
...but if you are able to start the demo apps, then there may be something wrong with either your app, or in it's deployment... turn on logging via the webstart app manager to see if any errors are being logged...

Our application worked on workshop 8 sp1. After we upgrade system from sp1 to
sp2, some of the part doesn't work propertly any more.
1. netui:select seems not bind form data propertly. For drop down list box in
forms, although user has chosen something from the drop down list box, the returned
value in the form is always null.
2. we use Java script window.open(url,...) to download and view files. After upgrade
from sp1 to sp2, clients keep getting IE error complaining that "Internet Explore
can not open this Internet site. The request site is either unavailable or can
not be found. Please try again later", although the server and the files are all
in local host server.

A few things changed between GA and sp2, some annotations were renamed, and some
were added.
If you open up your application in Workshop sp2, it should given you the option
to upgrade your application.
Failing that, you may need to go through the code that is not performing as it
was before and check whether it was not utilising a bug that was fixed in sp2
and thus causes it to not function correctly now.

My application doesn't start when I run the domain as windows service
I am using weblogic 10.3.2 and i created a domain called rec_domain and i have AdminServer
also i deployed application called myApplication to the rec_domain
then i created windows service to run the server as a windows service
The Script for Setting Up a Server as a Windows Service:

Can you please specify, What do u mean by Application Doesn't start? Is it Moving to PREPARED State Rather than ACTIVE state? Or the Application Health is not OK? Are you seeing any Warning or Error Message while starting the Server related to Deployment?
As the Production Mode is On...So I just wanted to confirm that By Mistake have u used the AutoDeploy feature to deploy Applications...Because the AutoDeploy Feature Doesn't Work in Production_Mode=true.
After Configuring the Windows Service Have you tried to Deploy the Application Freshly? Was it Successful?

I have been working hard on making a book in the Lightroom 5 book module for the past 6 months. I am close to being finished, and am doing my final edits. Suddenly, my book is only appearing as a 2 page blank book under the same heading, and has no images showing. When I go to the library, or develope module all the photos are still there, but under book module they are suddenly gone. Please help, as I am starting to panick!
First, are you 100% certain? In Library, double click the book. Does this take you to the "2 page blank book"? I assume yes, but let's be certain.
What version of Lightroom? 5.7 is the latest.
Restore a copy of your catalogue from a recent backup. Go to the book collection in Library, right click it, and choose Export as Catalog. This should create a small catalogue containing your book. Open it, and check it's right - if not, try an earlier backup.
If it's OK, then return to your main catalogue, rename the "2 page blank book" by putting "old" on the end, and use File > Import from Another Catalogue to bring the small catalogue into it. Does this solve the problem?

My printer works fine, but every time my computer starts up I get this message after login... *The application LOGINserver quit unexpectedly*... It asks to ignore, report and relaunch...i have tried all 3. Please help me get rid of this message.
ThanksYou could trying checking in the Login Items to see if it installed something there. Go to System Preferences -> Accounts (under System) -> Login Items. If you recognize your printer name on something in there, highlight it and click the minus button.

Startup application doesn't start on cRIO (work fine on the target with LV RT)
Hello!
I have a application (running on a cRIO-9075) that is communicating with a GPS via RS-323 (using NI-9870).
I can run the code without problems with LabVIEW RT on the target but when I build the executable and setting it up to run at startup it doesn't run.
If I remove the GPS code, the startup application will run fine. As soon as I put back the GPS code, it will not... I see that looking at a Heartbeat shared variable (no heartbeat when the GPS code is there). Also, the startup application will not run if the GPS code is there even if that code is disabled...
I have attached a screenshot of the code and one of the software installed on the cRIO for more clarity.
I'm using LabVIEW 2011.

Sorry for the late response.
I was able to make the application work for some time and for an unknown reason, it's not starting anymore. I made a change in the code and the problem is now back.
The code still work as expected when launched using LabVIEW (arrow button).
The output from the console is attached to this message, everything seems fine to me but maybe I'm missing something.
I've looked at my code and I can't find any unreachable code (case structure or disable structure).
I don't know if it might be related but I'm also getting the famous 1502 error (cannot save bad VI without block diagram) so I have to enable debugging to be able to build my application (which doesn't start afterwards).
Any ideas?

Hi, my mic can hear taping noises that i make on my computer, but it cannot hear my voice, if u losten closely you wil hear it but other than that you cant hear my voice. It used to wokr but when i was usuing skype tonight it didnt work. PLEASE HELP. I tried with both prefences and there both turned up and i tried with the audio thing and they are not muted. Jester516 - You can't use headphones as a microphone. So that will not work at all. If you have gone into your preferences and it works there, and also sometimes your microphone is working, I would then say you have a problem with your microphone. The best way is to try another microphone and see if that works. It is all about eliminating different variables to try to find the issue. My gut says that you have a small short in your microphone and so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Go to your local electronic store or find one online and buy a cheap microphone and see if that helps. -

hi, i am new to java MIDlet and I am not really having any luck to get it started. I am running the newest version of NetBeans IDE. I have downloaded some MIDlet code from the sun site. However, when I pasted it onto the NetBean, the line

But the thing is that it compiles and run under most of the emulators. However, when i set the defualt to the most important emulator that I needed, the Palm OS one, it gives me this message:
A descriptor must be specified for MIDP-Palm.
What does this means? Please I need to know what I need to do to fix this. Also where are the compiled .java files? I looked everywhere but they were no where to be found. I am new to this so I need step-by-step instructions on how to fix those problems. Please help this newbie to get started. Please help: data doesn't get through when using NIO's UDP
Hi there, I have a 2D client-server game, using NIO's UDP. Whenever the clients send data to server, the data just disappears and not exception nor error appear at the server side.

hi,
i have a problem using itunes. when i try to start the application it wont start. however the task appears in the task manager and i cant terminate it either. even when shutting the computer down windows cant terminate the itunes task. i have tried to fiddle around with the sound and quick time setting as suggested when itunes produces an error message but it didnt work. i am using windows xp pro (latest update) and itunes 7.5.
anybody got any ideas except for reinstalling windows? i also tried to set up another user account (also as admin) but it didnt work on that either.
Message was edited by: wuyavaeI haven't run into this problem but have you tried uninstalling iTunes on both accounts, removing all temp files, and clearing IExplorer cookies & temp files? Maybe if you remove all and start again you may be successful. JUST a thought.
