Please Help! Audigy 2 ZS coaxal conection to Logitech Z - 5500

Please help! I can't connect Audigy's digital autput to speaker's digital input, - they are different. I have a coaxial cable with mono plug, it fits to digital input of the speakers but doesn't fit to output of the audio card, because the card's ouput are most complicated (stereo or some else). I thoudgt i found the way out. I used an adapter thet transfers signal from one stereo plug to two mono plugs - right and left. I attached stereo plug of the adapter to card's digital output and one of two plugs from other end to the digital input of the speakers. So get the soud, but i though suspect thet i don't get full-fledged sound, after all the second channal is inactive, and if i swap right channel to left the sound differs.

i am 00% sure everything is connected correctly. When I use the Creative SB audigy 2 ZS software to test the speakers, on the "channel" buttom, i only hear sound coming from ?front left? and ?front right?, the rears and sub have no sound, I have set to ?6 channel? on the speaker control pad, and have set to 5. on Audigy 2 ZS, I had tried to disable the decoder from the sound card, but the problem still exist. When I set the speaker control pad to ?direct? effect on ?6 channel?, and test with the Audigy, I can hear ?front rightcenter?..all working, but when I listen to MP3 and CD, there are no sound come from the center speaker (on windows xp pro), But when I listen to MP3 and CD on Windows 98 (I have 2 systems installed on my computer), sound come from all speakers. Therefore, I believe that the sound card has problem running on Windows XP pro.

Hello, any help at all you can give will be greatly appreciated.
I recently installed my Audigy 2 zs Platinum on my computer, it was working fine until I began to record, It was working fine for the first 2 hours of recording however we disconnected the microphone from line in 2 and connected a bass guitar, then it started registering nosie from the line in 2 jack, we the disconnected the bass guitar and the noise continued. I have completly uninstalled all the creative drivers and reinstalled them, as well as checked the cable connections. I have noticed some other odd behaviors, if I plug headphones into the front microphone jack I do not hear static only a sort of blipping like that of a metranome. however if i use my speakers i hear large amounts of static with the blipping in the background, I also tested my speakers with a walkman and they play sound perfectly. All diagnostics tests have come back with everything passing. Any help you can give at all with this would be greatly appreciated.

XP Pro with service pack 2 (installed a long time before sound card)
nvida graphics card
Pentium 4 with hyper threading
Syntax mother board
tdk cd dri've
maxtor hard dri've

A line level out shouldn't cause any problems but it may still be that there is a hardware problem here. To help diagnose this, I would ask that you cleansweep and reinstall the card. Use the instructions here to do this:

I need a fix for the rm-500 controller. This huge screen that I'm getting when I try to use it is really lame and it's freaking me out. You know that blue screen some sadist called "entertainment center" that takes over the whole monitor. You can't minimize it, there's nothing you can do about it but turn it off. I want to be able to control with this remote other progs like winamp etc., the way it is with Audigy 2. I'm sure there is a hack somewhere. I can't imagine other owners of this card not using the remote it came with! Please share. Any valuable info is greatly appreciated.
P.S. Also there's no support for the most popular m3u playlist format? This just cannot be. Is there an update or hack to fix this? Thanks again

Finally got in touch with tech support. They said that other programs are supported and that I need to reinstall. I need some feedback please. From what I heard so far was that other programs/devices are disabled for rm-500. Thanks

I Can't Change My Profile Picture... Please help!

So for the past 3 weeks I havent been able to change my profile picture on Skype. :/ I mean I can still take a picture and use it but I want to use a picture that I already had.
But then when I go to the change profile picture option and click on the "Browse..." option it wont open at all!! And when I went to Tools > Options the options tab wouldnt open either and it would just make that noise if an error message would come on but an error message didnt come on at all! And when I try to close Skype by going down to the user bar at the bottom and right clicking > quit it would make that noise too! So now I have to manually close it by going down the File tab. I dont know whats going on with my Skype. Please help. :/

Do you by chance have Logitech QuickCam webcam connected to your computer?
You can also try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old. Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

Well I have been trying to use the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs video editor to transfer Hi8 tapes from my camcorder (Samsung SLC860) to my laptop (Compaq presario, AMD Athlon 64 3200+, .25 GB RAM, xp). I have successfully done this before *sort of*. Before i was able to capture video from my camcorder without the sound. But now I cant even capture video! I get an error when using Ulead VideoStudio 8 SE reading: 5065:29:0. Please help, anything would be great! Thank you! Oh, i've tried reinstalling the drivers already, didnt work. P.S. I connect the camcorder to the Creative Audigy using S-Video. I have also tried A/V out from the camcorder to video-in on the Audigy. I have also downloaded VidCap and other driver updates from Creative but those didn't work either. I've tried VidCap other capture programs, none worked. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for the reply, unfortunately, I've tried VidCap and it wont let me capture either. The Start button on Step 3 isn't acti've. Its not bold, and when i click on it nothing happens. But under device manager and Sound, Video and game controllers, there are alot of things. They are as followed: Audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy Video Capture Drivers, Media Control Devices, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor Audio Device, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor Video Device, SoundMAX Intergrated Digital Audio, Video Codecs. Do you think any of these could be interfering with one another? If so, which ones can be safely disabled? I've also tried downloading all the necessary updates for VidCap and I've even tried reinstalling the Audigy card many times. I am able to see the preview of the video on both programs VidCap and VideoStudio but I just can't capture. Once again, the error message on VideoStudio is: 5065:29:0. Thank you so much, hopefully I hear from ya soon and this can be fixed.

There are two ends to a wifi network. Try rebooting your router.

If you Restore using last computer you synced to the password will be removed and you can restore the last backup on your computer, which includes your camera roll.
If you enabled Photo Stream in iCloud your photos are in Photo Stream.
If you had installed one of the many apps that can upload photos to a photo sharing site and had used it you will have your photos.
If you have done none of these things you are out of luck. The phone comes with many tools to preserve content, but you have to use them.

PLEASE HELP! Guitar line in on Audigy 2 ZS not working

i have a sound blaster audigy 2 ZS platinum pro. In every program i try to use (FL 4, reason, krystal, ...) i can not even hear my guitar when plugged in to the sound card. I have tried the obvious, making sure i'm not in digital only mode, checking the cables. Some one please help.

Does Line-In work w/ normal line sources?
You propably need a pre-amp for guitar input through Line-In port but, if the port you're using is a Hi-Z port (you find this information from Audigy User's Guide) then, it should work even w/o additional pre-amp.

HELP PLEASE! Audigy 2 ZS & Toslink Is

Hi,
I wish to run sound from my sound card to my home theater receiver. I have the Audigy 2 ZS sound card, but unfortunately there are no instructions or info of any kind, as it was shipped inside the computer by Dell.
I want to run an optical cable from the soundcard to the receiver. I looked on my sound card and there is no Toslink connection, so I purchased the Digital I/O Module. My understanding is that the connects to the "Digital Out" on my soundcard and gives me the Toslink connection I need. I then run the Toslink cable from the module to my receiver.
I've set this up as described and it does not work. I'm not getting any sound and it appears that no signal is being carried.
I'm sure there is a setting that I need to adjust somewhere, but without the manual and no support, it's hopeless. PLEASE HELP if you can.

50 ft! Wow, that's probably too long to run all but the most expensi've analog cables, and even then you may suffer signal loss. What you need is a Dolby Digital *ENCODER* box, similar to our DDTS-60 (which we do not currently have stock of.) A digital encoder will take the 6 analog channels and compress them into a digital stream, optical or coax. Then you can use a single cable to carry it to your receiver, where it can be decoded again and played on your speakers in 5. surround.

Hi everyone. I have the audigy 2 zs sound card, i got a new headset with mic today however, i am trying to play battlefield 242, but no one can hear me and i can hear them. I have tried recording my voice but to no avail, i have tried in acoustica and even windows movie maker.
I have tried all available slots for the jack to go in, but still it wont work. Can someone please please help?

make sure your have set up microphone in sound option and not "What you hear"Double click the Creative sound menu buttom right, and make sure its microphone thats in the far right?Put the volume to the max to might be that also, even try to use the 20db boost

Just look around the forum posts. Your issue is the number one problem reported by users. There are many suggestions found, some work for some users, others do not.
Some users have reported no battery problems after the upgrade. Others have improved performance after upgrading to 5.0.1 from 5.0. YMMV.
Many of the posts offer suggestions about changing various settings - there are many that affect the battery life.
Once you upgrade the iOS on a device, you cannot go back to a previous version.

Sounds as if you synced your iPod to an empty iTunes library.
If you have no back up anyplace else, then your only hope is some data recovery software as mentioned in this post.
