Please Help! Can't get Airplay ATV to work.

Righto.
I bought ATV last week and have been working on this for a total of about 30 hours. Still nothing. I just cant get my late 2011 Macbook Pro to Mirror. Bought Mountain Lion update - no AirPlay icon at the top of the screen. In System Preferences > Displays it says No Devices Detected. I restarted everything, checked ATV software, turned ATV on/off 100 times, nothing. So I bought AirParrot and it can't find ATV either. Yes we are using the same network. I feel like throwing every piece of junk Apple device I have in the bin.
Any ideas?

In the texts 3D dialogue box you need to switch some sort of shading on, either plastic of difuse, or you could put a very small dark stroke around the outside of your text. It's probably the shading though, it's the surface drop down box at the very bottom (or if you have advanced on it's in the middle).

Please help can't get my appletv to sign in to my iTunes or to pick up my computer....

I only purchased my apple tv today and when I first got it home and set it up it worked fine,could listen to music whilst watching a picture slide show...loved it ........but then after about 10 mins it just turned off and then it wont let me connect to Itunes at all..keeps telling me that my password is incorrect(its not) It also tels me that the apple ID I have entered could not be found ???? ARGHHHH I have read the book and tried everything in it even changed my tv to another hd tv in my house seriously about to throw it against the wall!! can anyone please help me?? Surely its just something simple that I have missed or I have bought a dud........

Please help, I cannot get play menu to work after using dynamic link.

Ok. So I sent a video from premiere pro to encore using dynamic link. Then I created a menu in encore and dragged video to play button I created for the dvd. However, when I burn the dvd, the menu is not a part of the DVD. I do not know why this happens when I use a dynamic linked video. It does not happen when I use other videos. Please help. You need to set the menu to be first play.
If you create a timeline before you add a menu, the timeline becomes first play. If you set the end action of the timeline to the menu, it will eventually get there, but that does not appear to be what you want.

You have to attach the iSight to the VM by Virtual machine -> USB -> Connect Apple Built-in iSight.

Please help - can't get itunes to work

Hey - I would appreciate any help with the following:
I have already downloaded itunes to my desktop and successfully created an account and downloaded to my ipod nano...however, today, suddenly, I can no longer do any of that - I logged in to the itunes store, but every time i click on the itunes store "is open" button, nothing happens - i do not currently have my nano plugged in, is that a problem, or am I missing something?

just unplug it i have that problem when i plug my ipod in and i do my thing and try to unplug it and nothing happens and my ipod is still plugged in and itunes wont let me unpug it. just unplug your ipod. it does not harm it. this is becuase itunes does not see it so there for it is not really connected. as for your itunes not working try reinstalling it. i hope i have helped

Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Try turning off your Firewall to see if the issue is resolved (this includes the built-in Firewall or a third-party Firewall such as Norton Personal Firewall, McAfee, Symantec, etc.). See iTunes for Windows: Music Sharing With Windows Internet Connection Firewall for steps if using Windows. See KB iTunes: Music Sharing does not work if Firewall is on for steps if using Mac OS X.
If there's no firewall or security software interference, try to remove proxy settings.

Please Help: Can't Get Into Browse

My BookHobby.Com podcast appears fine in the search but it does not appear in Browse even though it has been five business days since I submited the podcast on 2/20. The rss.xml file looks to be ok in the category areas. The rss is visible at either feeds.feedburner.com/Bookhobbycom or at www.bookhobby.com/BookHobbyMan/Podcast/rss.xml if anyone wants to help me and take a look. If it does not appear in Browse and the rss looks OK how can I let Apple know? Without it appearing in Browse it might as well not be there as it's so hard to find. Help anyone? Thank you.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP, Can't get rid of Red Underlined Text

So after I lost a major part of my script and am now prepared to rewrite, now Every Font is in Red with underline. When I try to backspace, it turns my original font to red as well. This script seems like it's gonna be huge, judging the many impedents it's facing. I hope there's an easy solution to this one. I've tried to change it from the text color, but those settings look ok, black dot on white background. There's something going on that I can't figure no matter what I'm trying.

Looks like 'Track changes' is on for this document. Just turn it off from the toolbar [Review -> Start Tracking changes] in the authoring view itself.
Also the changes that are marked as deleted (crossed), do mouse hover on the text and 'reject change' and for inserted text (red color with underline) do 'accept change'. This is just so that you don't need to type it again and the text would become normal.

I can't get my ATV to work with my Devolo wireless

I've had two Apple TV's and both don't work on my Devolo wireless. They work fine with the mother router - my BT HomeHub.
ATV and my ipad, iphone and Macbook can all find the network but I don't get hte option to mirror, etc. It just doesn't show up on the device?
Very strange? And I can't find any info on it anywhere?

Hi, thanks for coming back to me. Both devices are connected to the same wireless network - the one that comes from the Devolo device - however when they are connected to this network they don't work. However when I connect them to the mother router network - they work, e.g. ATV features appear.
I've now checked and there is no firewall on the Devolo router - no idea what I can do?!

You can also download a dictionary from the settings pane opened by that last directions, but the link it offers you will almost certainly open in Thunderbird. At some point, it's best to right-click and select "open in browser" and it'll re-open in your default browser. From there you can download. I'd recommend you right-click the offered link, use "Save As" and download it. You can then drag the downloaded file onto Thunderbird's Add-Ons window, or use the small button to the left of the search box in the Add-Ons window.

click on the contact which you want to integrate, click the edit button scroll down u will find a option called link contacts use it to link it to the duplicate contact

I have a creative inspire 5. 5700 hooked up to my X-FI extreme music via Digital I/O port.
However im a bit pissed off because i cant get a microphone to work, it seems that the port i use my speakers for is the same port as the microphone..
Any ideas how to get my mic to work without unplugging the digital I/O?

Unfortunately those are the only ways I know of. The X-Fi Xtreme Music does not hook into normal front panel solutions.
