PLEASE HELP!!!! Can't transfer recordings from pho...

Hi All
I really hope someone can help because I'm tearing my hair out on this one!!
I have a Nokia N95 8gb and have about 25 saved audio recordings that i want to move to my PC. I have tried using the PC suit on my laptop however it won't connect to my phone!! I've tried just connecting the phone via the USB to the PC but the recodings do not show up where they are supposed to be!
I read an earlier thread which suggesting doing it through Nokia File Manager located in My computer in the PC which is supposed to be added when the PC suit is installed...I've looked everywhere on my PC and I don't have this!!
IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP???????????

The above reply is wrong. What the questioner means is that he can't see the files where it looks like they should be, in the folder sound which includes digital and simple. You often get this with mobile phones: you can't find your recordings. It was because I couldn't transfer recordings on my old LG phone that I got the Nokia in the first place. After a lot of messing around, I found that the files are in the Gallery. What you have to do is connect via the USB cable but instead of choosing Data Transfer mode, select PC Suite mode. You then use the button 'Content Copier' to make a backup of the files on your phone. This will include the wav files you recorded. I wish phone makers would address this issue. Also, data transfer to the N95 is extremely slow. It is not even at USB 1.2 speeds - it takes almost an hour to transfer 200 mp3 files. I think the problem is probably a slow processor.

Apps that are written for the Mac OS cannot be used on iOS devices, such as the iPad. You can purchase the iOS versions of some of these apps in the iTunes App Store.

Well I know Tivo offers software you can run on your computer that will let you take off shows from the Tivo and convert to be playable in iTunes/iPod/etc so with them you can. Check with your DVR vendor to see if they have anything similar.

It is not possible to transfer recordings directly between BT Vision boxes, but it is possible to connect a DVD recorder to a BT Vision box via the SCART sockets while it is fully active, play a recording from the Recordings menu and record it onto DVD while watching it.
DVD recorders designed for use with computers may not include SCART sockets; you will require a model designed for use with a TV such as those made by Philips.
Remember that it is only possible to do this in "real time" so could take several hours. For best results start recording after starting the programme playing from the BTV Recordings menu, and stop recording before stopping the programme on BTV.
Remember to save a title and description to the recording using the DVD recorder's software because no details will be transferred from the BT Vision service. If you use a DVD-RW disc you will be able to create a snapshot image to title the recording with too.
Legally recordings should only be for your own personal use and must not be broadcast again or played to an audience.

Please Help: Unable To Transfer Songs from Itunes To Ipod

I've been plagued with problems every since Thursday when I was attempting to put new songs on my iPod. I got the dreaded sad face with the go to apple support site link. I've did the 5 R's but still no luck. I even reformatted it cause at one point in time I got a pop up telling me that the drive needed to be formatted. Well after doing this and updating it finally appeared to be operating correctly. I was able to load roughly three cd's on it before it went screwy again. I've ended up with the monochrome apple display and then the stupid disk mode do not disconnect one too. I've finally gotten it as of this morning to show up normal but now as soon as I connect my iPod to iTunes I get this pop up error

Then if I attempt to load any songs it appears to try it but then it hangs up and I get this message.

Any ideals as to what is wrong with this stupid piece of censored;) I'm at my wits end and you have no ideal how bad I wanna stomp this little white box!!

Well since your getting the "Sad ipod" face, you may have to sent it in for repair. That said, the "iTUnesDB is corrupt" message is covered here along with ways to have windows format the ipod (Link Below)
Now if you do have to format the ipod with windows, when windows is done YOU HAVE TO RESTORE IT WITH THE IPOD UPDATER BEFORE LOADING IT WITH ITUNES!!!!

If you put the ipod in "Disk Mode" like the instructions say, and you can't get it to show in windows, you will have to disable the "iPodservice.exe" in task manager, format with windows THEN RESTART THE PC so the ipodservice is running again and you can restore it with the ipod updater

If you are on iTunes 11 on your Mac then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar, which might make it easier to navigate and may instructions may make more sense.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from your library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

If you have a pc, when you plug your iPad in you should see the windows pop up window offering to backup the photos. Do that and it will save all your photos and videos to your computer where you can then sync them back to your new one.
If the pop up doesn't come up, double click on my computer and navigate your way to the iPad. Double cick on it an d navigate to the DCIM folder. Drag your photos and videos to your pc, then sync them back onto your iPad.

load the current version of I tunes on the laptop and sync the pod. Then sync the phone - you can select all or as much of the music you want to.
Also - if the music on the pod was purchased from the itune store in the first place, you should be able to redownload it to the phone for free, as long as you are using the same apple id that it was bought with.
