Please help - Confirm! - if what I think is true.

Hi all.
I recently upgraded my 20g ipod colour for a 120g classic, as the hard drive on the 20g would hang and reset once or twice a week. I sold the 20g on ebay advertised as working but faulty and described the situation exactly as it was - I've been using Ebay a long time and have no desire to lie or defraud anyone.
Anyway. Yesterday afternoon I posted out a well wrapped fully charged working Ipod. This morning the buyer files a dispute saying it's not as advertised, the ipod doesn't turn on or hold a charge etc. I know it's complete rubbish.
Stupidly however I didn't write down my serial number before sending it.
I've used my classic, my iphone and my girlfriends nano on my itunes since the 20g was last used (which was to reformat and factory reset it for sale) so ctrl help is no use; I no longer have the box; I no longer have the receipt.
I called Apple today and spoke to someone who's first language was not English and who unfortunately couldn't seem to grasp what I was asking them, sticking to the same roadmap generic response to all questions.
So my question is this. Would Apple have details of my ipod stored somewhere, registered against my itunes account name? Or would they not maintain that past warranty expiration?
And please - no smart alec comments about ebay or what I should have done, just help me please! It may be my first post on here but I know how forums work!

Casper that is a fantastic piece of information, thank you very much. I've picked the ipod up from the post office tonight, stuck it in the dock (after checking the serial number on the case is the same) which it is. It's coming up with the charging bar in black, which then turns to the apple screen (no backlight) and then to sad ipod, in a cycle. I think the harddrive must have been bashed in transit.
To be perfectly honest, I don't have the time or inclination to go on debating it with the guy, I can't disprove that it wasn't working when it arrived with him unfortunately.
He's got his money, I've got the ipod back, if it comes down to it I'll just buy another HDD for it and give it to my mum even just use it for the car to save scratching up my classic.

When you get to the email preferences page to make the changes, did you click on "Save" at the bottom of that page to lock in the changes that you made?

Try this:
Calibrate Home Button
1. Open a stock application like Calendar, Weather or Youtube
2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
3. As soon as you see it, press the Home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is forced quit to the Home menu

The cover art does not show on My iTunes library even when I'm playing it. The cover art does not show in Word press either when you open it on a laptop. But I think I used a feed burner for the podcast and that's why the word press done now has come up. My question is that iTunes have Successfully I did my podcast however my son now is not my heart and I need to change that. Can anybody here please help me? I think it has something to do with the feed burner or potentially the way I have uploaded. I uploaded the podcast directly into WordPress I did not use any other hosting sites like libsyn.

After the latest update we've had to iOS 6, I was not able to use FaceTime, it kept giving me an error that I was supposed to wait for an activation code which never arrived, after that I read many solutions which included resetting the networks, which I did to try and fix my problem. What this actually did was to break my network settings an now it doesn't recognize any wifi signal unless I have the router next to me and even the it is difficult.
Now I don't have FaceTime or access to wifi with my iPhone!

Do a factory reset .. nothing will be deleted from your backups and you will be able to get access to them again.
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.

I didn't open your example (I'm not at my work computer), but here is an explanation of the terms:
Trigger delay is the amount of time between a DMM being given a command to take a reading, and the actual reading being taken. Lets say you want to read the voltage on line A exactly one second after the voltage on line B goes above 2V. You set the DMM for external trigger with line B connected to the external trigger input on the DMM. THen set Trigger Delay for 1 second. Then send the command to read the DMM (Read?). The DMM will become armed (waiting for trigger). When line B goes above 2V, the DMM will wait one more second, then read line A. If you don't want to wait to take a reading, set the trigger to immediate.
Sour stands for source. I've never heard of source delay.
NPLC is the Number of Power Line Cycles. In the U.S., we use 60Hz power (50Hz in Europe), so one power line cycle is 1/60 seconds. When setting NPLC, the DMM will take continuous readings for that length of time, then take an average of all the readings and return this value. Setting NPLC to 10 will make the DMM take readings ofr 10/60, or 1/6 seconds, and return the average of all readings. How many readings can be taken during that time interval depends on the DMM, the range setting, and the resolution setting.
Not sure about "arm count", but "arm" means that the DMM has been given a command to read but has not yet received the trigger to take the reading.
Reading a DMM through GPIB involves a series of events: Arming (GPIB command to read or measure), triggering (immediate or delayed, internal or external), measuring (one measurement or several for averaging), then returning the measurement.

Finding the Correct Bios/ Please Help Confirm

I need to flash my bios and im having a bit of trouble making sure that i have the right newer version. My mobo is the 865PE Neo2-P Platinum edition and under the download bios section for this board there is a note that says not compatible with the MS-6728 but when i check between my PCI slots like the read me file that comes with the bios, says i should do the version number is the same as this one but with ver 2 written on the end. I just wanna make sure that im using the right one so does the ver 2 at the end of this model number make it different and do i have the right bios if not can someone please post a link to the right one. Thanks

The only reasion I ask is because maybe you might not have to flash and the fact that several versions of this bios had some problems
there are two versions of the bios for the 6728 and it depends ( guys correct me if I am wrong) what " revison you have
here is the one that I think you need ( check your revison!!! down loading and installing the wrong Bios will kill your board!)

the note on the bottom is warning users with the PCB v1 boards that this is not their bios
I am almost 100% sure ( and the key word here is ALMOST) that all Platinum edition boards are revision 2 and use the Bios that start with "3.????"
The best way to determine what Bios you need is to download and install MSI's " Live Update" There are two ways to update your bios , a windows interface and the old fashion DOS disk.
If you use windows ( which I have succesfully done) make sure that all unnesssacry programs( and I cannot stress the fact that " everything" must be shut down) such as fire wall, antivirus etc are shut down. If you are overclocking go back and set the bios at default. Its easy , and fast but most( I said "Most" so don't start to flame me ) of the time " Real Men" don't read directions and complain when it fails)
If you chose the DOS option there are many posts in these boards with directions on how to do it succesfully thru DOS.

That Mac has been affected by MacPaw "CleanMyMac". Read below.
It is not reasonable to expect a Mac to operate normally after using CleanMyMac. Like many ill-conceived "cleaning" utilities, it is capable of corrupting a Mac to the point that erasing it completely is the only practicable means of recovery. CleanMyMac is not the only example; it is merely popular due to marketing strategies that are as effective as they are intrusive.
There is no practicable way to reverse the effects of having used CleanMyMac2 other than to reinstall all affected files from backups or their original sources. Its developer's uninstallation instructions are ineffective despite their recent claims to the contrary. Only MacPaw, its developer, can know the reason for that, but I can think of two possibilities: either they are purposefully leaving components behind for reasons known only to them, or they simply don't know what they're doing. Neither one of those possibilities is particularly comforting for the user.
Reinstalling OS X alone will have no effect on either removing CleanMyMac or reversing the damage it is capable of inflicting upon a system. Follow the applicable recovery procedure below:
If you have a backup that you created prior to using CleanMyMac, now is the time to use it. For Time Machine, boot OS X Recovery, and at the Mac OS X Utilities screen, choose Restore from Time Machine Backup. Choose a date preceding the installation of CleanMyMac.
If you do not have a backup that predates the use of CleanMyMac, create one now. To do that read Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac.
The recovery procedure will require that you erase the Mac using OS X Recovery, and then create a new user whose contents will be empty. You will then be able to use Setup Assistant to migrate your essential documents including photos, music, work products and other essential files.
When doing so, select only your previous User account and do not select "Applications", "Computer and Network Settings" or "Other files and folders". De-select those choices.
Subsequent to using Setup Assistant, you will need to reinstall the essential software you may require, once again remembering to install software only from their original sources, and omitting all non-essential software.
To erase and install Mountain Lion read: OS X Mountain Lion: Reinstall OS X - Apple Support
To migrate your essential documents read: OS X Yosemite: Transfer your info from a computer or storage device and follow the procedure under Transfer info from a Time Machine backup or other storage device. The procedure is identical for Mountain Lion.
