PLEASE HELP!!! Droid X2 wont turn on or charge

Hello, can someone please help me ASAP!!! I am trying to repair this Motorola droid x2 mb870 for a friend of mine, they have very important pictures on it that they cannot get them off of it and i am not too familiar with this phone but what is happening is when i plug it in to my computer.. the green light lights up and stays a solid green. Nothing comes up on the screen, as if its not turning on, i try to hold the power button down but it wont turn on. Recently bought a new battery for it cuz the old one looked as if it exploded inside itself. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME RIGHT AWAY, I WAS HOPING TO GET THIS PHONE BACK TO THEM TODAY FOR A VALENTINES SURPRISE, AS THESE ARE VERY VERY TIME SENSITIVE PHOTOS!

Yikes! I'm very sorry to hear that the device you are working on is causing such problems. I understand the importance of having a properly functioning device. When it comes to the listed details of the battery exploding, the device more than likely has physical damage or corrosion causing the non power issue. Does the user of the device have insurance? If so, they may be able to file an insurance claim by visiting http://bit.ly/07CrqPK Also, have the user confirmed if they are eligible for upgrade by dialing #UPG?

I got the ipod on christmas and transfed over 500 songs and photos. PLEASE HELP MY PHONE WONT TURN ON

Last night I was walking in the rain and a bit of water may have got inside my phone, it was working fine whilst I was in the car, but when I got to my front door I threw it into my bag so it turned off.
I left it about 20 minutes before I went back to it and I pressed the button to turn it on and I got the red light then the loading screen came up with the loading bar, the loading bar does not appear to move but the phone turns off after a couple of seconds and then repeats over and over again until I take the battery out, I tried taking the battery out many times and I'm still having the same issue.
I tried again when I woke up this morning and still the same. But about 10 minutes ago when I turned it on the call, blackberry button, escape and escape and end call button started flashing then my phone started vibrating and then a white screen flashed and then it went off and went back to what it was doing before.
The bar moved slightly more then went off and hasnt done the same since.
I have tried my brother battery and it does the same PLEASE HELP ME

I know it's been a bit since you posted this, but you never know.
First off -- with moisture intrusion into a BB, the only thing that is predictable is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back with no problems, others never work again at all, and everything in between (e.g., work for a while before failing).

It has recommended waiting periods that must be adhered to...no early checking. If the BB is not totally dry when it is powered on, that act can fry it...so waiting the full delay is critical.

Hey Today i have a big problem I wake up and my phone reacted That i took out the sim Restarting... I shutdown and it started
Wibration 1x Then no Sony logo no screen lightining it just started then 3x wibrating and no Led so it was not running out of battery but well i Pressed Power botton about 15x and did the same 1x as a start and then 3x wibrating and no reaction.
Putted into charging and it started wibrating red light and on off 1x Wibration and 3x wibration and i dont know was it charging or not D: and then after 30 Minutes i Pressed power botton and no reaction after holding the power button for 10-15 minutes it showed SONY , XPERIA LOGO and started to power up and then it said 2% battery which fastly run out and after i tried everything
POWER BUTTON + VOLUME DOWN BUTTON (AROUND 15 TIMES) = NOTHING
POWER BUTTON + VOLUME UP BUTTON (AROUND 10 TIMES) = NO REACTION NO VIBRATION NOTHING

You have to perform a software repair using PC companion.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

so, my 3G decided to literally DIE on me yesterday afternoon. YES it was fully charged. NO i didnt drop it in water or on the ground. It was simply in my pocket (its in mint condition). i panicked, made appt at apple store (they took a look inside and had no idea why it wouldnt turn on as everything looked as if it SHOULD be working fine), ended up having to buy a new 3G-S today, and went home thinking everything will be ok as long as i sync to my itunes and get all the info back onto the new phone.
so, i plug it in and get the error message that apparently is common, delete the required programs in order, reinstall itunes and when i try to sync now, THERE IS NOTHING TO SYNC! have i lost everything? is there no possible way to get the stuff off my old phone onto my new one? swap the motherboard?? what do i do?? plz help...

My fellow mac users, I am hoping that ya'lls wisdom can solve this problem I just encountered a few days ago. I have a White Macbook 13inch and have had it since 2008. I just recently upgraded everything. New 320gb hard drive, 2gb RAM, Snow Leopard, and iLife 2011. I have been using it all for a month now and everything is running beautifully.
Last week, I turned my computer off, as usual for the night and when I woke, the computer would not turn on with the power button. I opened up the computer and dusted it and still nothing. I ordered a replacement keyboard from ebay and plugged it in and low-and-behold, It turned on. I wanted to make sure that the original keyboard was broken so I plugged that one in and it worked as well. Including the power button.
Now I just tried to plug the new one in and it doesn't work at all. But the original does. I am worried if I turn off the computer again, I won't be able to get the mac back on. If anyone has ANY suggestions, they would be most appreciated. I don't want to take it to Apple because I know they will charge me $400 for this computer and I clearly don't have that. Any advice would be most gracious!

Does it start normally when the battery is removed entirely?
Does the Magsafe adapter still show a green light when connected and fully charged?

'Average' lifespan of the standard battery is considered to be about 300 cycles, and a removable MacBook battery typically registers at least 4800-5000 mAh fully charged when brand new.
Last possibility that comes to mind is that you're wearing out the power switch if you indeed turn it off every night. In my experience, OS X is stable enough that I often leave mine run for weeks without a restart. I just close the lid when I'm not using it.

Try:
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

A few of my ipod touch pins were broeken, but it charged just fine, i had to keep it plugged in all the time though. Two days ago, even though it was plugged in, it died. Adobe Reader is free. It always has been.
You have obviously downloaded and installed Acrobat (30 day trial version) and the trial period has expired.
You need to uninstall Acrobat (using the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features [Vista/7])
Then run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
to completely remove the Acrobat installer files.
Then download Reader 9, install it, and go about reading PDFs for free.

Droid X wont turn on

My Droid X wont turn on after my battery died. I plugged it into the wall outlet over night and it still wont start. I have pulled the battery and the sd card but still cant get it to turn on. I have tested the battery and it is ok
Any ideas?

The reason they say to remove the battery and leave it off is to allow the device to discharge the stored power that the device reserves to the system, on some systems if you pull the battery and then attempt to power the device this stored energy will be dispersed because it is recieving the signal that you want the device to power up and send the remaining power to the system to try to start rhe device but since the battery isnt there it will simply just deplete the stored charge faster..
This also works on PC to remove any stored power before removing it from a case, think of it as the same thing as removing a desktops backup battery and then switching the jumper on the board, it causes a quick pulse of power left in system to be released.
