Please help (flash intro cs4)!!!

sorry if I posted in the wrong section but I need help.
I have a flash intro and when ever I preview it,the intro background turns to black instead of staying the way it should be.Can somebody please help me out here,I need this flash intro for a website.Please explain this to me in simple terms because im pretty NEW to adobe.

Note I've tried everything to make the flash background stay the way it was but nothing I do works.

i have this intro. I open it in flash and play it. As soon as the Offbeat idea text goes away the background fades to black instead of staying consistent.

I have my tablet won't switch on and when I try to turn on, the red light and green light flashing 5 times. And then nothing. Unable to turn on.
I tried a reboot by pressing power + volume - and nothing!
I tried to update with BlackBerry Desktop Manager (latest version) and when the update reaches the end error message comes to me and it there was a problem: "A connection to the tablet Could not be ESTABLISHED. Please connect your tablet and try again. "
I also tried to charge it with a 2000mA charger for several hours and still nothing.
I no longer guarantee

Same thing happened to me yesterday. After the error message, I plugged in the charger. It took quite a while but the tablet started charging. It reinstalled the update when it reached the 20% level. Another update error came up to change my setting. I checked my setting but didn't change anything and just reinstall update again which this time was a success. Hope this would help.

I am running Mac OS X 10.7.5. Last night Facebook told me I MUST update to the newest version of Flash Player in order to upload multiple pics. I kept getting plug-in failure messages and then the message saying I need to update my version of Flash.
Problem is I have updated my version of Flash and the plug in still doesn't work. Please help, my business relies on my being able to upload multiple photos daily to social media. What is going on? I have read the forums, the work arounds posted on 4/16. Uninstalled, re-installed, etc. I am still getting flash plug in failures even on Adobe's site. What do I do?

I am in the same boat. I cannot watch flash videos on the BBC website or on BBC iPlayer, although all other flash videos (YouTube for example) are fine.
For reasons that passeth all understanding, they work with the PPC version of Firefox, called TenFourFoxG5.app, once you have anabled plug-ins, as it does not natively support Flash.
You can download TenFourFoxG5 from here:

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
I am using Flash 10.1.102.64 in TenFourFox and it works just fine.

Please help--flash 9 wont download

I am slowly realizing that there are a lot of things that
require Flash Player 9. I have tried at least 15 times to install
this, but everytime it pops up the security box, i click install,
and the 'F' comes up with the spiral underneath. It goes away, the
security box reappears, i click install, and the little boz where
the 'F' was is empty, then it goes away, turning to quotation
marks. Why wont it work? i am on my acocunt with administrative

first, if your not using firefox, got to mozilla.com and get
firefox. it the best browser there is and the add-ons that you can
get to enhance it are the bomb. Next time you come across something
that requires flash it will automaticlly download it.

PLEASE HELP-Flash Version 9.0

Everything was working fine this morning. I went to the
Playhouse disney.com website for my sons. It said I needed to
update my flash player. I downloaded 9.0 for MAC powerPC (I have
version 10.5). The download did not finish, stating I needed a
different plugin. It redirected me back to the same page for
downloading 9.0. I did the uninstall flash player. It said it
worked. I tried to install 9.0 again. Now, it said that I don't
have permission to access the installer. What do I do? If anyone
could please help me, I would really appreciate it!!!

PLEASE HELP 64bit Photoshop CS4 no open GL

Looked online for solutions for a good 3 hours and still cant fix the problem I have 2 ATI HD 4800 video cards and the thing is that if I run regular PS i have open GL it sees my cards just fine but when I run the default 64 bit its not even recognizing the video card I have the newest drivers, i updated PS, I tried the registery trick....and still nothing, I love my open GL please help, or is there any way I could make the 32 bit version my default PS, as in when i click on an image in bridge it opens up in 32 bit and not 64? Thanks a lot...o Im running a 64bit version of WIN7

URGENT Please help flash 8 components

I have written a .exe application that has a email submission
form at the end, the form is built up of flash 8 components. The
component ids are as follows:
fname.text;
femail.text;
fmessage.text;
fcountry.text;
fsubject.text;
On my submit code i have passed the fields using this method
fname = fname.text;
femail = femail.text;
fmessage = fmessage.text;
fcountry = fcountry.text;
fsubject = fsubject.text;
This is perfect and works first time no problems. My problem
is becasue the flash .exe never closes the component id's are stuck
at the last setting which is i.e. fname = fname.text; when the form
comes round again it doesnt work becasue its stuck at fname =
fname.text;
I need to tell the flash program to forget this after i have
submitted it and return it to fname.text = fname.text;
Please can you help, i'm pulling hair now and ive got a
deadline to sort this out :/
If the swf was on a webpage this wouldnt be a problem becasue
the swf gets loaded each time the page is refershed, but becasue
it's a .exe and never gets closed its stuck this way after being
run first.

Dear all,
I am desperately looking for documentaion on the Flash
ActiveX control properties
(Quality, Quality2, AllowScriptAccess, ScaleMode,
ProfileAddress and so on).
I am developing a c++ Windows application which uses Flash in
its UI.
I managed to do the basic stuff (embedding multiple
CShockwaveFlash ActiveX controls
in a Windows dialog, communicating values between the C++
code and ActionScript).
What baffles me is that I did not find any documentation on
the control properties
- neither using Google, nor navigating Adobe LiveDocs etc.!
Please can someone provide a link?
Another topic I am very interested in is performance and
syncing between C++ and the Flash control(s).
In my current prototype, the Flash controls are not even able
to correctly display (read: without stuttering)
a simple second counter which gets its value set by the C++
code!
Amazing. As I am using a half-decent PC (2Ghz, 1GB RAM), CPU
Load and Memory Usage never come close
to anything above 30%, so I am asking myself what is going
on.
I suspect it has something to do with the Flash VM's garbage
collection, caching or stuff like that.
Any hints on this subject are greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I am having problems updating my wix websites and wix are telling me this is due to a recent upgrade of flash player.. they are telling me that I need to have flash player version 10.2.153 or 10.2.154 while my computer is running 10.2.159 and I cannot find the others versions for download anywhere. I am totally lost with all of this stuff so please excuse me if I have confused anyone!
I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give me with this.

Thank you for your help! It seems that I have the problem fixed now.. and I agree with what was said regarding WIX.. it's most frustrating bu I believe it has something to do with the latest upgrade to the flash player.

PLEASE HELP- flashing question mark in folder

Hi everyone,
last night I was just on my macbook as usual and suddenly it froze, so I turned it off. When i went to turn it back on, all that appeared was a flashing question mark in a folder.
I have tried all the suggestions on this page http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58042 , but none of them worked because it didn't even recognise/find the harddrive in the disk utility section. I don't have apple care ($419 is a lot of money for a student!) but I only bought the macbook about 6 months ago, so it is still within warranty. What should I do now?

I just had the same exact problem last night too. I called the apple technical service number and nothing they did helped because the hard drive wasn't found. I even got a fire wire cable and tried to hook my MacBook up to another Mac and tried the target disk mode hoping I could pull off data that I needed, but the other mac couldn't find the disk either. I'm kind of worried about losing some of my data. If you could let me know if you find any solution that would be awesome! I plan on going to the apple store this weekend to get it looked at.

I just bought CS4 Premiere Pro and I really want to set it up correctly.
I am editing 1080p AVCHD video from my Canon HG21 HD Camera, but I need to find out how to properly set up scratch disks etc.
I guess you have the program running on one hard drive, the media that you are editing on another, and a scratch disk on another hard drive?
I don't totally understand how to set this up.
My current rig is an i7 920, 6gb 1600 mhz ram, 4870x2, 3 WD HDD's. The HDD the program is installed on is a 7200 rpm drive but I think the others are 5400? I'll have to check that out.

Please help, EX1 + PremPro CS4.1 NO Preview while editing.

So, I am wondering what is the best sequence settings for ex1 cam. I am having a ton of problems with cs4 and am thinking (PRAYING) it is a user error.
Project: 2hr long recital where we had three Sony EX-1 cameras. All shooting 1920x1080p (HQ). And there are two shows, but I'll edit them in different projects.
In CS3, I would start the project and just pull the footage in... no problem everything played fine. Then when I upgraded to CS4 it was CHOPPY to the point I could not edit.
Sequence Settings: General:
Editing Mode: Desktop. But was the EX1 1920x1080 hq by default... but that wasnt working. So far, Desktop is the only thing that has even let video show up... if I import only 25minutes of footage, it plays back smooth! NOTHING has worked like this, so is Desktop the way to go?
Video Previews: I-Frame Only MPEG
I really do think this is where the problem is. The video is killing me, audio plays back like a champ (if i turn off the video and press play). I dont know enough about this to know if I am correct or not. Should I do I-frame or AVI? and if AVI which Codec? Also, should i click max bit depth and render quality? i'd assume no for a preview.

I am on my way to work now to get CS3 to downgrade. /sigh.

I have a similar problem with HQ EX1 footage. in my case, the problem crops up when shooting lengthy events where the continuous footage ends up being split between two SxS cards. For some reason PPro CS4 has trouble after importing the long file into the project. The culprit seems to be the "importerprocessserver.exe". It locks up after importing the lengthy split clip and prevents further preview. PPro itself doesn't crash. Shorter EX1 footage works fine. It is strange that the split clip seems to import successfully, however the moment I try and preview it the "importerprocessserver" locks up and no further preview is possible (of any footage).
My workaround has been to move the folder containing half of the split file to another hard drive and import it separately. PPro no longer sees the split files as linked and imports them individually. When I do this I have no difficulty editing EX1 footage.
I'll be submitting a bug report on this today.
