PLEASE HELP - Fujitsu Lifebook 6120D and Bluetooth...

Fujitsu uses software called Plug Free and this is only compatible with Fujitsu products - NOT Nokia phones. Seems ridiculous, but according to the Fujitsu support line, Bluetooth was not so common in 2004 when I purchased my laptop. They won't help me at all - and telling me that the latest FJ laptops are Nokia compatible is no use and seriously annoying!
In control panel, Nokia Connection Manager - there are no detected devices.when I search I get message 'Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available.'
The FJ Plug Free software can make the connection -but only allows the following services:
OBEX File transfer,
Dial Up networking,
Serial,
OBEX push.
Under other services is the Nokia PC Suite which I can select, click 'add service and connect' but then - nothing happens and I am still not connected. In PC Suite it still states there are no devices found.
Apologies that this is garbled - but its late and I am rather tired and fed up with it.

I also wasn't able to connect my Lifebook 6120 via the plugfree software when I got my new Nokia phone and the required new version of the PC suite
The problem is, PC Suite only supports the Microsoft bluetooth stack and not the Plugfree software any more. But the Microsoft stack is not installed for the built-in-bluetooth-device on the lifebook (by ALPS in my Lifebook).
The good news is: the Microsoft stack is able to handle built-in-bluetooth if you just know how to make it work.
Prerequisites: Windows XP SP2 (or later).
What to do:
1. Open the device manager and write down the device id for your bluetooth-device. For me it was: USB\Vid_044e&Pid_3001&Rev_0336&MI_00
2. Open the file WINDOWS\INF\BTH.INF with notepad.
3. Move to the section ";------------- Device section - Start -----------------------"
4. In the section "[ALPS.NT.5.1]" insert an additional line:
Lifebook (Alps) Bluetooth USB Adapter= BthUsb, USB\Vid_044e&Pid_3001&Rev_0336&MI_00
This tells Windows to use the driver "BthUsb" (Bluetooth USB) for the device with the ID at the end. Make sure that ID fits the ID you found out in step 1
5. Save the file.
6. Go to the device manager. Maybe it's best to remove the old driver first, but it might also work if you don't do that. Start a search for new devices or drivers for your bluetooth device. I suggest you then choose manual selection of the driver. The old one and your new one should show up.Choose the new one!
7. That's it! Maybe you need to reboot. A bluetooth icon should show up in the task bar on the right which gives you access to bluetooth. There you can connect with your mobile and PC suite should be able to connect!
This is a rough outline I wrote down after I figured out how to do it. Some steps might require minor changes, and my windows is even to German edition, so the name of the Windows programs might be called slightly different on your OS.
I hope this is helpful for anyone who already wanted to give up (as I was about to do) after extensive internet searches that probably were not helpful.

If you don't know your ID, you can try to find it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. Then you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. Of course, you can only do this if it's your ID.

Holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening. That will bring up the 'choose iTunes library' dialog. Select 'Choose LIbrary' from the choices and navigate to your music folder and iTunes music folder.

Have you attempted to reset the SMC? That would be the first step. Hold the left control, option, shift key and the power button for about 5 seconds and release. Then try to reboot. Might as well reset the PRAM as well. Hold command, option, P, R on start up until the machine restarts. If that doesnt' have any affect we'll have to dig deeper into a potential hardware failure.
If this method doesn't work, check the webcam that will tell the problem is on the iSight & WiFi cable. If your webcam is ok, then it'll be the WiFi card problem. Hope it can help ;-)

While trying to import pictures from iPhone to iTunes, iTunes request to make software update and then to restore iPhone. I have cancelled the restore to rpotect pictures. The pictures have not been imported yet, but the iPhone display freezed at ITune connection page. Please help me save pictures and use the iPhone as usual. Restarting of the phone did not work so far.

If the device is in recovery mode there is no date on the device to salvage.
Restore the device.

Silvercrest CRB-530 Bluetooth from Lidl works great with iPhone 3GS. Bought this Radio a few days ago and installed in a few minutes. Radio connects with IPhone in a few second by signal of car-ignition.
Only the voice-dial is not supported. Re-Dial works fine.

PLease Help!! Leopard and Blue Screen

I know there is a lot of discussion out there about a blue screen after installing Leopard. Well I had leopard installed and working for a while and then one day i started having issued where iTunes would lock up my MacBook and I would have to restart the MacBook because i could not stop it from "determining gap less playback" It would do it every time i plugged in my iPhone or my iPod. So everything was working great other than the iTunes issue. Then one night while my wife was using the MacBook it turned off on her so she proceeded to turn it back on only to have it boot up to a blue screen. Keep in mind we had been running Leopard for a few months this was not a brand new install. I purchased my MacBook used from a fried who did not provide me with the CD/DVD's to restore the MacBook since he lost them in his move. So I have searched far and wide trying to resolve this issue. I have booted into Single user mode and did the command prompt options...
1. Reboot into single-user mode (hold Cmd-S while booting machine)
2. Follow the directions OSX gives you when you get to the prompt (I think these were them - just type the two commands it tells you to):
fsck -fy /
/sbin/mount -uw /
3. Remove the following files:
rm -rf /Library/Preference Panes/Application Enhancer.prefpane
rm -rf /Library/Frameworks/Application Enhancer.framework
rm -rf /System/Library/SystemConfiguration/Application Enhancer.bundle
rm -rf /Library/Preferences/com.unsanity.ape.plist
4. Exit, to continue booting normally
exit
restart
I have tried to boot the MacBook in safe mode with no luck. I think i have done everything i can. I called Apple support and was told that the MacBook is out of warranty by 408 days. Can i buy the restore CD/DVD? Is there something that I am missing? What am I not doing? Please help me???

Does the Blue Screen happen after the Gray screen with the Apple logo and the spinning gear below it or when you turn on the computer you see the blue screen right away? You can try resetting the PRAM. Turn on the computer while holding the CommandOption+PR. These buttons will reboot your computer manually so let go after you saw the computer restart by itself. You also mentioned that you installed Leopard on your computer. So do you still have the Leopard install disk with you? If you do, boot from that disk. With the Leopard disk inside your optical drive, press the C key while turning it on. Once booted, try do repair the disk permissions and disk in Disk Utility.

Specs;
G5 power mac dual core (2.0)
Power pc 970 mp
Late 2005
I don't have an apple mouse/keyboard
I just use $40 wireless mouse keyboard.
Upon purchase everything seemed to work as it should....booted up, open and closing apps without freezing.
However I never had it connected to the Internet when I navigated through system.
I got it home and installed a 1 tb harddrive (WD mainstream desktop) from future shop. When I installed it in tower I had to buy a sata 2.0 cable as there was not one available for use. Booted up fine and installation went as my research said it should. Turned it on next day....
Tried to update iTunes and this is where it started actin up. First just froze had to turn off, second time wouldn't even boot up plus fans went into overdrive. Third forth fifth sixth boots fans sometimes kick in, now whenever I try to do any kind of action it freezes. (Only when I click something)
I read about possible power suppy issue, so I plugged tower and monitor into seperAte plugs,
They may however be in same circuit because they at in the same wall...would a power conditioner fix this?
Anyway still froze on any action tried...just opened disk drive...opened then frooze...?
Anybody have any ideas??

I ended up taking it in to geeksquad at best buy, they had it for 3 days and also told me after the fact that neither of the techs working on it knew much about macs :-( needless to say I requested my
Money back due to the fact that the service I paid for could not be completed and literally couldn't tell me anything more than what's below.
They told me that they could not dock it with thier diagnostic machine, kept restarting on them and the one fella said it was overheating but had no idea why. When I brought it home again I tried it once more computer boots up to desktop as usual, this time had a asterisk window saying " the computer was restarted after mac OSX quit unexpectedly" however my cursor was again locked in the top left of the screen. Would not move, so I could not view the report, shortly after fans kicked into overdrive. I'm losing hope for this machine rapidly. I'm all ears when it comes to anything I may be able to do.
Should I try an actual apple keyboard/mouse just to eliminate that possible?
If you have ideas AWSOME, If not, no worries, ill take it into the mac store and see what they say
P.s the machine is clean inside little to no dust and the tech said he was going to clean it out, hard to tell if he did because it was clean clean before I brought it to him.

Please help. 3 beeps and gray file on startup

2012 Macbook Pro 13 inch. A friend brought it to me because of a white screen and gray flashing folder on startup. I booted to disk uility and saw that it did not see a hard drive. Pulled hard drive attached it with a external reader to my macbook. was able to browse all the files, and back them up. Formated hard drive with disk uility and put back in the computer. Disk uility did not see it after format. Put a different hard drive in computer, disk uility still doesnt see. it. Hardware test came back with no problems. I put a snow leopard cd in and booted, and i get a apple logo with 3 beeps. I have checked all connections adn removed battery. Please help i am out of ideas.

There a some fasteners that hold them in, if adjusted may restore functionality.

Guys please help - our IT guy disappeared and we changed the hosting over the weekend. He did setup exchange server for all the emails so now i am trying to recreate all the settings in bluehost for email and the bluehost is asking whats A record for our
Exchange server. Forgive me but i am not an IT guy... where do i find the A record for our exchange server? I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could point me into that direction.

If the DNS A record for mail.mydomainname.com is currently pointing to your Exchange server's external IP address then I would imagine that's setup correctly.
Name servers are those used to find out where to get the DNS records for a domain, eg it tells people doing a DNS lookup the address of your DNS server(s) so they can query them to find the required records. As such I'm unsure whether you actually mean name
servers or not.
Anything that ends in a .local address is definitely a local record, eg it is only used internally on your local network. On the internet there's no such thing as .local, so server1.mywebsite.local definitely wouldn't be the address you'd put into your public
DNS records. Do you mean that in Outlook when you look at the server address that you connect to collect email that it is displaying server1.mywebsite.local? If so then that's completely separate to where mail is delivered.
With the CNAME and MX records I'd suspect that they'd remain the same if they currently point to the mail.mydomain.com address, if they point elsewhere then you might well need to update them.
What confuses me is what is it that's been changed with your hosting? You say you've changed, and presumably bluehost are the new hosting company, but not what has changed to them. Do you mean the domain has transferred to them, or just the website, or your
internet access or something else?. You say that via the bluehost dns editor mail already points to mail.mydomainname.com, so it sounds to me as if the relevant records have already been setup and are working. Is email failing to be sent / received currently?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

I have created a "process workflow" using OWB and deployed it successfully. Now, I would like to schedule this process. I have installed management server and tried to schedule it but all in vain. I am not able to understand anything. I have read "oracle administrator pdf" and couldnt understand anything. Please dont advise me to read any notes or pdf's because I have tried a lot and was not able to figure out the configuration.
I have a target database named "TARGET". I would like to schedule the workflow process I have created. I am not able to understand preferred credentials and how to execute the XML script generated by the "process workflow". Please help me coz its very urgent.

Why dont you try this? I found it after few tries,
In the create job dialog box
under General
for Override Node Preferred Credentials for entire job
username and password should be the NT or Unix
login where your Runtime database Server reside.
under Parameter
for Override preferred credentials
username and password should be of your runtime
repository user
