PLEASE HELP!!!! Getting unwanted tabs that pop up randomly with **** on them! Please help!!!!

Okay so I have the latest version of the OS for Mac. My Safari browser constantly opens new tabs that I am taken to automatically, and these ads are always either about ****, or some Mac cleaning software. Its impossible to click more than 3 times without one of these tabs opening, i'm desperate. Help me please!!! Oh, and I have tried resetting safari, clearing history, removing website data, to no avail. I need help please!!!! And its not always pop up tabs either, sometimes they are ads on the page I am on. Yes I have watched **** before, but on Private Browsing; not that it matters I suppose but still... anyways, I REALLY need help!!! Thanks :')

How do I remove the "New Tab" that pops up along with the homepage?

At start-up, 2 tabs come up. A home page and another one. I just want the homepage--no extra one. I still want to be able to open tabs, just not have this one that comes up automatically that isn't my homepage. Can you help?

This issue can be caused by the MySearchDial extension.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

I'm getting unwanted tabs popping up in firefox. How can I prevent this?

New tabs are appearing at random times in my Firefox window. I can leave firefox open, and come back to the computer and have new tabs that have appeared. I can be actively working in another tab, and have a new tab appear.
I think this started when a game from popcapgames.com was downloaded to my machine. This game was not ever run on the machine - as far as the downloader will admit.
I tried to access Spybot Search & Destroy from this machine, and I suspected that I was not getting the correct site, but a forgery instead. I used a different machine to get Spybot onto a memory stick and installed it onto my machine. I've run it several times, and it has removed considerable amounts of spyware from this machine.
But, I'm still getting unwanted Tabs popping up.
I've verified that the pop-up blocker is still set in firefox.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

If you can't fix it with the above listed scanners then you need to ask advise on one of the forums that specialize in malware removal mentioned in the Popups_not_blocked article.

When I am using Premiere Elements 13 I get a message that pops up "There is no disk in the drive" I click on it and it keeps coming back "very annoying", but about three months ago it happened to me and I was told to change the file name from OldFilm.AEX to OldFilm.AEXold. Well now the file is back in Folder OldFilm.AEX. Here is a screen shot the files are highlighted.What should I do now to correct this once and for all, or can I? Thank you for your time.

I would do another rename to disable or just delete all the OldFilm.AEX and OldFilm.AEXOLD in that NewBlue Folder.
If you do, please let me know if that OldFilm.AEX regenerates itself the next time you open Premiere Elements 13.
Here is the strange story...at least from my Premiere Elements 13 Windows perspective...never had the No Disc error issue
Here are some details to sort through trying to figure out why you have 2 OldFilm.AEX file in the NewBlue Folder.
1. The original OldFilm.AEX file of Premiere Elements 13 has the date of 9/4/2014 (just before the version was released on 9/24/2014).
After the 13.1 update is done (whenever date), that OldFilm.AEX file has the date of 1/31/2015. I first saw notification of the 13.1 Update
release early in February 2015.
2. Now in Premiere Elements 13.1, if I take my OldFilm.AEX (date 1/31/2015) and disable it by renaming it to OldFilm.AEXOLD, close out of there, and reopen
the program, the OldFilm.AEX is not seen to regenerate. The OldFilm.AEXOLD remains there as its lone self.
3. So, I am thinking that your OldFilm.AEXOLD in the screenshoot is "original equipment" that you disabled to get rid of No disc error.
Why the OldFilm.AEX is there also is not clear, but the dating on it suggests that it came along with the 13.1 Update.
Bottom line: let us try the deletion or disabling one more time and see what happens.

Have you upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 for compatibility with Yosemite? If not, try that first.
It looks like iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the original image files.
This can be caused by a corrupted iPhoto library, or the originals have been deleted or moved.
Try first to rebuild your iPhoto Library:
If you do not have a current backup of the iPhoto library, make a copy of the library, but do not overwrite any previous backup.
Launch iPhoto with the ⌥⌘-key combination (option-command) held down.
Select "rebuild" from the first aid panel. This may take a while for a large library.
Can you now see your photos again?
If not, rebuild the library with iPhoto Library manager as described by Old Toad: Re: iphoto crashed

Same error message, I disabled tab mix and made sure I only have the newest version of Java, restarted firefox, now it seems to be fine no error yet on Pogo games or pictures upload to ebay which were the biggest problems besides hanging. I had also had disabled AVG secure search yesterday but that did not solve the issue. Now I will try to add back in AVG search...I have very few adds ons, also the note embedded about re- installing a toolbar went away, my old one did not work with FF4, so I installed Yahoo toolbar but the message still did not go away until I applied this fix. When I open Mozilla Foxfire I get several tabs that automatically each heading is (Index of file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/) then shows all file in Mozilla installation Dir. This is the address in the address bar (file:///C:/Program%20Files%20%28x86%29/Mozilla%20Firefox/). My home page is set for MSN.com

If you get a program called malware bytes it blocks that window from popping up. Hope that helps :)

Please let me know what exactly are you trying to do using Adobe online service.
You might try accessing the same service for some other PDFs and check.
Have you signed up correctly at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials.
If the same message pops up, then please visit Contact Customer Care as they could let you know if there is any problem with your account.

When trying to setup my external hard drive, I get this box that pops up and says this:

PowerPC was a type of processor used in Mac systems before Apple switched to Intel-based processors. These older chips required applications to be coded differently, to the extent that they will not run on the Intel processors in newer Macs. Apple used to include a translator that allowed these programs to at least run, but this translator is no longer available so if you run into an older PowerPC-based program then OS X will give you this error.
