Please Help! HDMI sound playing from laptop and NOT the TV

Synopsis: Installed Windows 8.1 on new SSD on my Toshiba P75-A7200. I stalled all the drivers from Toshiba website. Everything works except now my HDMI audio does not play on TV play from laptop. I reinstalled the original v. of Intel HD Graphics 4600 and Conexant Smart Audio HD drivers. I also looked in the volume control panel and sound playback options looking for HDMI setting with no luck. Has anyone encountered this? OR have an idea how to get my audio working with HDMI cable to TV?
I checked different HDMI cables to be sure it wasn't a bad cable.

If you're determined to set things right, you can always restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media and upgrade to Windows 8.1 this way
If you failed to create recovery media, obtain it from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here
See the instructions in the section Restoring from recovery media, which begins on p. 60 of the User's Guide.

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

OK, so I have been surfing the net for help/solutions but to no avail...
When I try and burn a disk from itunes on to a blank disk i get the 2131 error which judging by the ammount i have seen written about it, is VERY common.
I am about to throw my laptop out of the window as I cant fix it and am have just spend my Christmas itunes vouchers on downloads!argggggggghhhhhhhh
My cd driver is SN-S082H ATA ???? please does anyone have any ideas what i can do??????

Why does wireless work for one laptop and not the other?

I have two laptops:
1) MacBook: 10.4.8, Airport Exteme (Firmware 1.0.46)
2) G4: 10.3.9, Airport Extreme (405.1 (3.90.0.p18)
I have the two machines sitting right next to each other in my apartment. Machine #1 has full wireless signal strength. Machine #2 barely has any wireless signal. Neither is running Interference Robustness. Any ideas why one would work and the other would not, or suggestions as to how to debug this problem?
I have tried stopping and restarting the Airport Extreme card on machine #2. I have also tried power cycling machine #2. This does not fix the problem.
A little more history: for a long time I was having problems with machine #2 dropping the wireless connection. As part of trying to work around these problems I turned on Interference Robustness on machine #2. This fixed the dropping signal problem, but left me with weak signal strength. I shut off Interference Robustnes but ever since then the signal has still been weak on machine #2.

The base station uses a single channel which all clients must use to connect.
Have you checked the antenna connection into the card? Many people are surprised about how far the wire is actually supposed to be pushed into the card. Compare the connection with the photos in KB 108039, Properly attaching the antenna on an AirPort Extreme Card.

Please help me remove Sweetpacks from FF and my PC. Sweetpacks INSTALLED ITSELF on my PC laptop.

Sweetpacks showed up on my Windows XP SP3 laptop with a Centrino Duo chip and 2GIG of memory.
I'm trying to get rid of this crap. Their instruction for Firefox is to go to "Tools, then Options, then Setting's???? I do not have a search engine setting, under Options, on my FF browser. Plus everything I've read about this software leads me to believe there may still be numerous hidden or invisible files in Firefox collecting my every move, and in other software on my laptop as well.
There isn't a search setting on FF Options to select a search engine. I know I can select it in the upper right corner search box however, every time I try to add a menu bar, Sweetpacks insert's itself as the search engine. I downloaded Spyhunter, ran an it, and removed 2371 malware files. It still didn't remove all of the Sweetpacks junk...........HELP!!!

Try to reset prefs on the about:config page that refer to Sweetpacks.
*Open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for sweetpacks or sweet via the Search bar at the top of the about:config page. 
*Reset all sweetpacks related prefs that appear bold (user set) via the right-click context menu to their default values.

How can I play a playlist and not the entire library on my shuffle?

I can't seem to organize songs into playlists and then play only the songs in the playlist -

There is if you play music from your computer (mine is connected via AirTunes to several stereo systems) or if you later get a Nano, or iPod with Video or an iPhone that does support playlists.
You can also use them to load songs on your Shuffle. For example, say you are going on a long exercise walk and you want many motivational songs with increasingly faster tempos. You could create a playlist on your computer, put the songs in it that you want, in the order you want, call it Long Walk, and then when your Shuffle is connected choose to Autofill from the playlist Long Walk

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

There is no chance at all that you can activate the iPad without the previous user's Apple ID and password. That is the feature of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Every time I read one of these post, I can't help but think that the user asking about this (in this case - you) was duped into purchasing a stolen device. If the seller was legit, they would have erased the device completely before they sold it.

I see that the number in my Adobe Account is a MAC serial number – I purchased both the Mac and Windows versions of the program. I tried to enter the serial number of the Windows version into my account and it says it’s already registered. I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.
