PLEASE HELP! How to get (old) Airport Card working on (old) emac???

Hi, I have an older 700MHz emac and I got an Airport Card (the original, I think).
I opened the CD tray, connected the antennae and seated the card, but it still says "No information found" when I look in the system profile, under Airport Card.
What could I be doing wrong? I've re-tried this a couple of times already.

Push the card in really hard, until your hear it click - Mine was like yours, then I tried one last time to press it in real hard, and it worked... If that doesnt work, then you have a dud card, or your Airport slot is broken.

Ok, so I'm not savvy with this tech stuff. I have an airport extreme that my old roommate setup. It works fine with my MAC ibook, but not at all with my NEW roommate's PC. She tries to login to the airport network and it's a no-go.
Is there airport software she needs to install?
What are the proper settings?
Or is the airport extreme just not compatible with PC's?

Most likely the radio mode is 802.11g. PCs tend to have problems connecting when using WEP for security. I suggest that you use WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal instead as WEP is no longer considered secure. If you need to continue to use WEP, you would need to provide your roommate with what Apple calls the "Equivalent Network Password" in order for the PC to connect.

Please help, I cannot get play menu to work after using dynamic link.

Ok. So I sent a video from premiere pro to encore using dynamic link. Then I created a menu in encore and dragged video to play button I created for the dvd. However, when I burn the dvd, the menu is not a part of the DVD. I do not know why this happens when I use a dynamic linked video. It does not happen when I use other videos. Please help. You need to set the menu to be first play.
If you create a timeline before you add a menu, the timeline becomes first play. If you set the end action of the timeline to the menu, it will eventually get there, but that does not appear to be what you want.

You have to attach the iSight to the VM by Virtual machine -> USB -> Connect Apple Built-in iSight.

Sub/Requirement: How to implement RadioButtons in tree view with/without using xml file.
I have a requirement like this i want to display RadioButton in tree view.
I implemented tree same as which is given in sampleApplications.
In this sampleApplications they implemted tree by using xml file.
I also implemented tree by Generating xml file. In this xml file i get the values from the database. I am using <netui:tree > tag.
Is it possible to implement tree without using xml file. I need to generate tree Dynamically.
Please any one help me to come out with this solution.

The issue here is while you are retrieving all the details, you are consistently overwriting them in the request.setAttribute() call before you get to the JSP to display them.
Do you actually have a class/object called Student?
That object should have attributes for classes, subjects, teachers (all of which are lists apparently)

}Then you load each student, and populate its individual lists.
That lets you pass the list of students, each student having its own lists for display.

Please Help: I cannot get the Airport Extreme settings right with AT&T DSL

AT&T Motorola 2210 DSL Modem.
I have tried both bridged on/off and different configurations on the Airport Extreme, but I cannot get online. I am out of ideas. I called AT&T tech support and because it's not one of their wireless routers, they wanted to charge me to troubleshoot, ridiculous.

If you find that the Double NAT setting will not allow the PS3 to connect correctly, your only other option is to change the configuration of the modem to either +PPP on the computer+ or +Bridge Mode+ and then configure the PPPoe service on the AirPort Extreme.
I assume that you have already set the modem up using the default IP address of 192.1681.254 (I think this is it). You'll need to locate the page to change the settings and it will probably have a red warning sign on it. Either PPP on the computer or Bridge Mode will work. Update to save settings.
Then under the Internet icon in AirPort Utility:
Connect Using = PPPoE
enter your user name (probably your email address with the service provider)
enter your password
Leave the Service Name area completely blank
Connection = Always On
Disconnect if Idle = Never
Update to save settings.
That will eliminate the Double NAT issue and the PS3 should get a clear indication. As I said, when you have the PPP connection on a device other than the modem, you may see an occasional drop and restart of your connection. That seems to be a fact of life with this type of setup.

Please Help: How to get Image under JDK 1.1

The following is my problem:
I need to get an image under JDK1.1.
What I want to do is get a graphics-object from
it and draw some stuff onto it. Afterwards I want
to save it to some file (gif, png). The latter part is
no problem. But I couldn't find a concrete subclass
under JDK1.1. I know of BufferedImage in JDK1.2
but that doesn't help too much since I'm restricted
to JDK1.1.
Anyone who can help me with this?

[PLEASE HELP] How to get Microsoft Outlook Rules to work on my Z10

My organization recently started deploying Z10 for work. We use Mircosoft Outlook 2010 and I receive many e-mails throughout the day that I filter by setting up rules.
These Outlook rules do not seem to transferr over to my Z10 e-mail account as I am being constantly flooded with these "junk" e-mails.
I've tried to change the folder sync settings, but that doesn't seemt to rectify the problem.
I have Software Release 10.2.0.429 and OS Version 10.2.0.1803
Does anyone in this community know about this problem and if there's a solution?

Unfortunately Outllok rules only work within Outlook itself.
One way that I have found to partially work is to use the IMAP server (if available in your organisation) from both the computer and the device(s), and to keep Outlook running while you are gone, and then the rules works for most of them
Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

Please Help - Network System Preferences/Advanced Airport Not Working

Hi all.....I posted here before and got no replies but I'll try again.....nothing happens when I click the advanced button in Network System preferences but only in Airport - which is my primary connection....I have reinstalled the 10.5.6 update and have been trying to resolve for weeks......any help is most, most appreciated!

Thanks...I did and twice the cpu just froze........no kidding......I was able to set up a new location after reinstalling 10.5.6 but still the advanced button in sys prefs/network, only in airport, does not do a thing.

Help - How to get our PF keys working on the web?

We just successfully built a 9iAS server on a W2K platform - it was quick, easy and works perfectly with simple FORMS. However, the main FORM product we want to move from client/server to the web uses function keys -i.e F8, and these just don't function in the web environment. We've checked all the documention, even ghoing back to OAS and WebDB manuals, with no luck.
Apparently we've missed something in the 9iAS setup, or need something else on the client. THe clients run IE5.x, with the latest Microsoft VM package that shows Java COnsole.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Getting a wireless card working on a G5 PowerMac.

Hello there.
I am trying to help a friend get a wireless card working on his PowerMac. So far the machine knows about the card is there but it isn't working as an Airport.
Two cards have been tested, an Apple branded one and now a generic PC one which looks to be using the same chip-set coincidentally. The PC one had some Mac drivers which my friend said he installed, but somehow he ended up with FUSE on his system. :-? I don't know why that happened as a file-system handler isn't going to help get wireless working that I know of! LOL. :-D
The driver CD is missing now so I can't check it. And the box has nothing about the card. So I wouldn't even know where to get a compatible driver. I have searched using the PCI info but no luck.
The Apple card has Apple A1027 stamped on it. And the antenna has been connected on it AFAICT. I've also read Atirport cards can't simply be plugged into the PowerMac and an Apple technician must install it. Could this be the case? And what about the generic PC wireless card then?
The end result is that the machine knows the hardware is there but it can't get any wireless communication working. Also, a Apple Base Station has now replaced a wireless router. So can that be made to run a diagnostic and see if it find the Airport itself? Or even the same on the Mac?

System Profiler (Apple menu -> About This Mac -> More Info) should show if the AirPort card is recognized. I'd then try to add an AirPort connection item in the Network panel of System Preferences, enable the AirPort menu bar item, then try to turn AirPort on.

You do a restore as new to wipe the iPhone then at the end of restore you will be asked to restore from backup. Choose your iPhone backup.
Note you cannot restore an IOS newer than the IOS on iPhone, you need to update iPhone first.
