Please Help HP Paviline slimline s5000 series PC

so i have heverything pluged in and set up and stuff then i start up the computer. well it only starts up for like 2 to 5 seconds and i tryed like power methods none of those worked for me if i need to replace something or try something please tell me. and no its not a laptop if you where wondering.

HP 3540 e-all-in-one series. Missed a step during setup. Please help!

I've just set up my HP 3540 e-all-in-one series, however I think I've missed a crucial step and I'm worried I've messed everything up. I printed the alignment page and on it, it says to scan the alignment page for best print quality. I somehow bypassed this step and I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Will it affect the printer or quality in any way?
Please help!!

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @panda411
If there are any "alignment" issues you're noticing when you use your Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540, you can run the alignment manually to see if that corrects the issue.
If there is no issue, I wouldn't suggest doing anything differently. What comes to mind is the saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it"!

Hello, I have a series of language cd's that I am trying to put onto my iTunes but when I download them, they will not save separately instead they are saving as the first disk so i am ending up with 3 disks on 1. Please help

Hello, I am trying to copy a series of language cd's onto iTunes but each cd will not save separately, instead it is saving all as one disk. So I am ending up with 3 disks on 1 with 3 different track1, 2 etc. Please help as I am sure there is an easy solution to this that I have no clue about. Thanks

After you insert the CD but before you import it into iTunes, select all tracks and set the disc number to 1, 2, 3 ... as appropriate.

If you sync with iTunes on your computer - connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on the iPad name on the left side. Then at the top of iTunes go to Store>Check for available downloads. See if the TV shows will download there and then sync them to the iPad.
If you don't sync with iTunes, try signing out of your account, restart the iPad, sign in again and then try to download the shows again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.

Cant install HP psc 1402 series driver for windows 8...please help!!!!!!!!!

I recently switched to windows 8...Upto that time everything was working fine...so when i upgraded to win 8 i downloaded the driver files for hp psc 1402 series...but when i start the installation ,the setup starts but it cannot detect my product...so after many attemps it finally detected it...and it installed the following devices-
1)HP imaging device
2)HP Printer
3)Photosmart 1400 (Dotf4Print)
It couldnt install the main component i.e HP Psc 1400 Series ...I manually tried install it from device manager but it couldnt find the driver
So i intalled this device from a old xp driver for hp 1400...
but the problem is that now when i print a document from my pc ...it does not print the tables...
please help me as soon as possible.. as i need to print an admit card for my interview before 13 of april.
i dont want to downgrade to win xp..
Please note that im still using win xp driver for hp psc 1400 series as i coundnt intall the win 8 version.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that you are having trouble installing your PSC 1402 printer.
I would suggest doing another uninstall. Uninstalling the Printer Software. Then re-install using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

We have said thousand times that mixing dif. brand/make/speed memories is a bad idea, most with this Mobo that is very picky about ram. If you want to avoid slowdown problems, stay with only one stick ( the better one ) until you can buy at same time in same store, 2 identical memories to replace the old one.

HP PHOTOSMART 5524 SERIES PRINTER WILL NOT CONNECT WIRELESSLY/COMMUNICATE WITH LAPTOP. PLEASE HELP.

I am really hoping that someone can help me resolve a serious issue with a new printer.
I have tried every diagnostic tool including the HP print & scan doctor and my printer still doesn't seem to connect to my laptop or print.
Although it does print test pages and reports and it also prints directly from my Android phone.
I purchased the printer from ebay and the printer installtion/driver disc was not included. The printer connected to my Sky network immediately, the blue light/dot was solid and it stated on the printer's display 'Connected - and the IP address/MAC details etc'..........
However, when I try to print from my laptop, it won't print - no error message, nothing so I can't figure out what the problem is.
I went to the HP website and d/loaded the driver for my operating system [Windows Vista 32 bit] and when that failed I tried the Basic HP printer driver and that failed also. I then un-installed and reinstalled the drivers & associated software again and also tried the 'add printer wizard' in Windows.
As a last resort, I disabled my firewall and anti-virus software [temporarily] to ensure that was not preventing my laptop from recognising the printer still no joy!
I have tried every workaround I can think of [and I am not particularly computer proficient] and I am truly out of options and ideas of how to get this to work. When I have finished installting the drivers sometimes a dialoge box pops up on the bottom right hand corner [where the icons are] saying 'HP Photosmart ready to use' but I go to print a document either microsoft word or directly from the internet and it still will not print.
This is getting extremely frustrating and annoying. I have spent hour upon hour trying everything I can think of, but it still won't work.
Please help find a solution. Thank you.

Thank you for the information. At this point because the print will print from your Android phone, scans, and copies. This shows that the printer itself is not the issue.
The error messages 0x0000643 and 0x0000057, when do you get these errors? Are they on the printer, or the computer?
I would suggest trying to stop, and start the printer spooler. Please follow the steps below.
1. Click Start
2. Type "services" (without quotes) in the search field
3. Open Services
4. At bottom of the page click "Extended View"
5. Click in a service in the list,
6. Press the letter "P" on your keyboard
7. Search for Print Spooler
8. Right-click on it, and choose Properties
9. Select Automatic in the drop down box
10. In that Properties window you will see buttons for Start, and Stop, please click on Stop, and then click on Start.
Try printing again from your computer. Are you able to print a full page?

Important : To send or receive faxes using eFax, your HP product must be connected to the Internet on a wireless network, and you must enable Web Services. If you use a USB cable to connect your HP product to your computer, you also need to connect it wirelessly to use eFax.

My laptop won't turn on. Please help! VAIO E Series Model: SVE14112EAW

Hi, I badly need some assitance regarding with my issue. I forgot to charge my laptop for a couple of days. Then, when i remember it, i immediately charge it and wait until it become fully charge or until the battery light charging went off. Then, at bedtime when i decided to use my laptop. The power light lit for a while then it turns off again. And when i itried to use the adaptor, the battery light won't light. I already checked the adaptor, and i guess nothing is wrong with it because the ac light is okay. I also followed those previous guides for troubleshooting this kind of problem but it never worked.
Please help me, what do i do, i am really worried. I am afraid that i will never use it anymore. I am afraid that my motherboard is defective. Is there a chance of survival? To all of you guys who experienced this, do you still use your laptops after taking some repairs or not anymore??? Hope you can help me. Or you share your experiences to enlighten me. Thankyou...

I am sorry to hear your issue. Based on your description, it sounds like this is a hardware issue already. But please consider the steps below, let's isolate the issue:
Power cycle - remove the battery and all peripherals -> press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Or (if the battery is not removable) remove all peripherals -> look for a battery off button on the bottom of the laptop -> press and hold for 5 seconds (you may use safety pin for that). This will drain the electricity of the computer. Charge again the laptop and test.
If the battery is removable, just remove it. Plug in the AC adapter then try to turn on the laptop.
If both steps didn't work, then we can say that this is a hardware issue. It could be the motherboard, but we cannot tell that right away. It seems that your Vaio SVE14112EAW is not a U.S. model. You may visit Sony's Authorized Service Center nearest in your location.
For further assistance regarding your concern, please contact the Sony offices/Sony representative offices nearest to your place of residence in Asia Pacific region http://www.sony-asia.com/countryselector.html?hpid=countryselector:AsiaPacific. Hi I have got semiconductor 1 board (http://www.abtronix.com/pdf/12-300_1004.pdf) from Feedback Instrument(12-304) and I would like to do the exercises by connecting the board to NI ELVIS II
but when I can't install the software (fbsetup.exe) properly and even after installing the software and engine I get this error message " Missing driver for National Instrument platform.Requires 8.6 or later" ...while NI ELVIS II is connected to my laptop and I have also installed the latest driver for it. Has anyone worked withFeedback educational boards ? would you please help me to find the driver for semiconductor 1 board or help me to install it properly

I cant upload the file because it is too big (about 295MB) but I have attached the Print screens of the installer. As can be seen in the main menu there is no driver installer and just contents and Engine are available.Also when I click on Install the installation process terminated and the installer cant install it properly (second pic) .I think setup file is not the correct one.

I have MSI 865PE Neo3-F mainboard and I have a few little problems with Neo.
My first:
I have HDD Maxtor DiamondMax10 300GB,16MB cache,SATA.When I was installing Windows,(widows setup) it shows that HDD has only 131GB.BIOS shows 251GB.what does it mean?Not supported HDD or only 130GB for one partition?
My second:
I want to connect also P-ATA HDD,but BIOS don´t see him.
What would be IDE settings in BIOS and also jumper settings on PATA HDD and DVD when I want use:
SATA as Primary Master (system disk)
PATA as Secondary Master
DVD-ATA IDE as Secondary Slave

What I should installing when I want to use all advantages of SATA HDD and what would be BIOS settings?

After installing Service Pack 2 windows shows that HDD has 300GB,but I created two partitions before (C:\ [30GB] and D:\ [100GB] in windows setup) and now (after install SP2 E:\ [170GB]) one partition in Windows.Problem how do I put together last two partitions (D:\ and E:\) to one partition?
so if I right understand after this settings in BIOS:
Native Mode
ATA Configuration - PATA only (or SATA-only)
SATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA Keep enabled - yes
PATA channel selection - both
and what about another two options in this menu?what are the settings?(somtehing about 1st channel and so on)
connections looks like that:
on IDE ATA100 cable from IDE1 will be connect HDD ATA100 as Master and DVD as slave?
on SATA cable from SATA1 will be connect HDD SATA?
How system knows which one from two Masters HDD is System disk?from Boot menu?
Is some page on the web where can I find closer explain of IDE (SATA) settings for MB MSI?

would anything too bad happen if i just chucked the MB into my old celeron case with 240W power?
and the graphics card which i have already recieved, says on the box:
Minimum 250W power supply.

and lastly, i've never installed a cpu b4, only a heatsink/fan.
