Please help me, I just purchased Adobe lightroom4 online and when i try to download it I get a message that says "operation could not be completed. (com.apple.installer.page controller error- 1.) couldnt open Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. pkg" I have no idea what to do here. Thanks!

Please check for the system requirements from the below link and see if your computer meet the minimum requirements to install Lightroom 4. As per my understanding, your computer has Core Duo processor. In order to install Lightroom it should be Core 2 Duo and above.

Hello. I just purchased an album from the music store and of course, my account was immediately charged before the songs downloaded. As iTunes 7 began the download, I got an "error 50 - something about the network connection but it is well documented and I've followed all recommendations from the Apple support website - stopped my antivirus AND firewall software and I'm not running McAfee). This is the first time I've bought anything with the new version of iTunes and I noticed that under my Purchases category, there was a downloads category and it showed each song on the album, along with the error in a column, and an icon I could click to try downloading again.
Each time I clicked the icons I got the same error on every song - error 50 and the song just sat in the suddenly new "Downloads" folder. I tried logging in and out of iTunes and BIG MISTAKE! The downloads folder is gone, my Purchases folder shows no sign of the album I was charged for other than the cover - the 19 songs are missing, and they aren't in my library!
Here's the kicker, when I look in my purchase history under "My account", it shows I bought the songs but my nothing was downloaded but the album cover. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to contact a human at Apple for help with this? I hate throwing away money with no one to talk to about it.

This worked a week ago, before I installed the new version of iTunes. So apple obviously changed something because I have changed nothing on my computer. And you can trust me, I've been in computer customer support for 19 years so I wouldn't be here if I hadn't already checked out every article out there, tried them with no luck, can't find anyone to help me at apple, and don't know what else to do.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm expecting several iTunes gift certificates. I think I'll return them and just buy the albums I want. Hopefully I can still add my own music to my Library without it disappearing with the new version, and at least I only have to pay for the album one time. Sorry apple, I hate getting ripped off with no one to call about it.
Thanks again for the nice person out there trying to help me but I've tried all their support articles and nothing works. They just ripped me off for $10, 19 songs, and all I got was the stinkin digital booklet. Guess I'll go stare at it until the brick store opens tomorrow and I'll go buy it again there. Please help, I've tried everything! Gmail won't open, it just endlessly cycles and rarely even gives me an error message: all other sites work fine (Windows 8).

All sites work fine except Gmail will not load. I prefer Firefox, but to be fair, Chrome and IE are doing the same thing when I try to use them. Occasionally Gmail will pop up, most of the time it just endlessly cycles and I don't even get an error message. I'm going to have to get rid of gmail if this goes on.
It's maddening! I've tried everything I could find on mozilla support--restarted in safe mode, clear cache, cookies, etc. This is a brand new Windows 8 laptop. It started a few weeks after I got it. Where do I download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 Student and Teacher edition?

I have purchased Lightroom 5 Student Teacher edition. I have the software download card and i have my serial number. I cannot find where to actually download the program.
I tried downloading Lightroom off Creative Cloud but that did not accept my serial code, so was obviously the wrong version of Lightroom.
Does anyone known where to download Lightroom 5 Student Teacher edition?

Fujifilm Tethered Capture Plug-in for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Today Fujifilm shared "Tethered Capture Plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom®". And they shared only 1 exe file, which i can't open on my Mac=). I try open it on PC, but it can't open without HS-V5 ( i needn't it, because it work only on Windows)
They write:

The current situation seems to be this:
You are licensed to use the plug-in on a Mac or a Windows PC if you have purchased and installed H5-VS software. Since H5-VS is only a Windows product the download for the plug-in is a Windows EXE because when you run that EXE it'll check for the H5-VS software installation and if it doesn't see it, it'll stop, so to be successful in extracting the Mac plug-in you have to use a Windows PC and have purchased some Windows software.
You can examine the contents of the LRPLUG.EXE by renaming it to something like LRPLUGIN.EXE.ZIP and opening it with 7ZIP; however, the contents aren't something where you can just extract and run w/o the license check.
The only way forward seems to be to purchase the H5-VS software and install it on Windows and then download and run the LRPLUG.EXE on that same Windows computer to extract the plug-in installers, and then run those on the appropriate platform.
However, the H5-VS software doesn't appear to be for sale, anywhere, although the Fuji people do seem to hint they will have a solution at some point in the near future--perhaps it is only available in Japan ATM.

The bottom line is that while the tethering plug-in is for both a PC and a Mac the licensing dependency is on a Windows-only program so the plug-in installers are contained within a Windows-only program and the missing link is how to acquire the required H5-VS Windows program to satisfy the licensing requirement for the plug-in packaging utility so it'll extract the plug-in installers for each platform.
From what the pages, say, there is also going to be a version of the plug-in available on Adobe Exchange that won't require having H5-VS already, I guess, but that is not available, yet, either, so lots of announcements, and mostly a lack of follow-through..

Are you sure that your copy of lightroom 5 is activated and CC is running and logged in? Adobe has set LR so that if you let your subscription expire (or deactivate or whatever) you will be able to view and manipulate your catalog, but won't be able to open Develop. Sounds like you may have gotten hit by that. Log out of CC, then log in, and then open LR and see if it's okay.
