Please help, I cannot get play menu to work after using dynamic link.

Ok. So I sent a video from premiere pro to encore using dynamic link. Then I created a menu in encore and dragged video to play button I created for the dvd. However, when I burn the dvd, the menu is not a part of the DVD. I do not know why this happens when I use a dynamic linked video. It does not happen when I use other videos. Please help. Thanks Matt

You need to set the menu to be first play.
If you create a timeline before you add a menu, the timeline becomes first play. If you set the end action of the timeline to the menu, it will eventually get there, but that does not appear to be what you want.

Only thing is...I bought it at my local Walmart and not to sound unkind but the folks in the electronics dept. aren't very knowledgeable or helpful. If they replace my phone I hope they do their best to make sure my cell works before I leave Walmart.

  • Please Help: I cannot get the Airport Extreme settings right with AT&T DSL

    AT&T Motorola 2210 DSL Modem.
    I have tried both bridged on/off and different configurations on the Airport Extreme, but I cannot get online. I am out of ideas. I called AT&T tech support and because it's not one of their wireless routers, they wanted to charge me to troubleshoot, ridiculous.

    If you find that the Double NAT setting will not allow the PS3 to connect correctly, your only other option is to change the configuration of the modem to either +PPP on the computer+ or +Bridge Mode+ and then configure the PPPoe service on the AirPort Extreme.
    I assume that you have already set the modem up using the default IP address of 192.1681.254 (I think this is it). You'll need to locate the page to change the settings and it will probably have a red warning sign on it. Either PPP on the computer or Bridge Mode will work. Update to save settings.
    Then under the Internet icon in AirPort Utility:
    Connect Using = PPPoE
    enter your user name (probably your email address with the service provider)
    enter your password
    Leave the Service Name area completely blank
    Connection = Always On
    Disconnect if Idle = Never
    Update to save settings.
    That will eliminate the Double NAT issue and the PS3 should get a clear indication. As I said, when you have the PPP connection on a device other than the modem, you may see an occasional drop and restart of your connection. That seems to be a fact of life with this type of setup.

    I am running 10.4.5 on a dual g5 2ghz. I cannot get my second firewire drive (lacie 160gb porsche) to mount. It has been working ok up until now and is only a few months old.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    BTW does not show up in disk utilities or DiskWarrior either..

    You have to attach the iSight to the VM by Virtual machine -> USB -> Connect Apple Built-in iSight.

  • Cannot get USB port to work after re-installing of SP2 on Satellite Pro L20

    After re-installing XP Home SP2 and downloading all the updates & Drivers from here I cannot get my USB port to work properly, if I have more than one peripheral plugged in it says "Bandwidth Exceeded".
    I have a Behringer BCD2000 which is a souncard/midi controler for DJ mixing, it worked fine before i reinstalled windows, now it clicks and pops when playing tunes, also the ASIO doesn't work when I run Traktor (Dj software) and the program freezes. Any other external sound card wont work either. I've been all through the device manager no conflicts apart from an ! over Serial under hidden devices.
    I'm lost, is my only option buying a PCMCIA sound card, it worked fine before so surely there is a software solution to this?
    If anyone can help I'd be most appreciative.

    Try to disable USB Error Detection:
    1. Right-click My Computer and then click Properties.
    2. Select Device Manager to view the Device Manager
    3. Locate and click the Universal Serial Bus Controller entry.
    4. Double-click Universal Host Controller and then click the Advanced tab of the Universal Host Controller Properties.
    5. Put a checkmark in the box for Disable USB Error Detection. Click OK.
    6. Restart the computer to see if "Bandwidth Exceeded" message occurs again
    Did you use recovery media to reinstall WXP? When someone write it worked before and now not it is really not easy to say why this happen. Try to configure notebook as before and maybe it will work again. Behringer BCD2000 is not known to me and I dont know how it works and which software must be preinstalled there.
    Can you use different USB devices like external HDD, USB mouse, USB memory stick or printer?

    Quit iTunes. Then you can drag the CD icon to the Trash.

  • Need Help!  Cannot get SourceControl3.1  to work correctly.

    We are using RH8.  We have a project that needs updating to be current with newest software release.  There is a project manager in the home office and a technical writer working remotely in another state.  Our IT staff followed all the steps listed on setting up the SourceControl and this is what is occurring:
    I've tried it both as file system and as full embedded database solution. For files based solution I did create a history path. This is what I was working on Friday.  I had to set up another test machine here with RoboHelp in order to test it.  Same problem.  I can check out from either machine and checkin in. However the changes never get propagated to the other instance, even if you do a Get All. 
    Not sure if this is related, but the open project from Source Control does not work from within Robo Help 8 either. When I try to open a project that way, it just sits there on the open file dialog box.  From what the tutorial showed, it should start downloading the files and then you select the project file to open.
    Here's a sample screen shot. 
    I setup a brand new test database and project
    This one is using embedded database, not stored as files.
    Files are set to single checkout
    I modified on one machine
    Checked in ALL files
    Open project on other machine and get all files
    Changes not reflected
    Forced Get All
    Changes not reflected
    Here it is in the project directory... note the mod dates... the file is not updated.
    I would be so very grateful if someone could help figure out what is going on.  Thank you in advance.

    I am running Adobe Captivate 6 on a Mac. i have MAMP installed and followed the Twitter Widget installation guide here:

    When I preview my project in captivate or in web browser the widget does not show, neither does it when I publish the project to my local "test" moodle.
    The widget "icon" appears in the edit window.
    I think utilizing this tool in an elearning environment is an awesome concept and have been wracking my brain to figure it out.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        Having issues with making and receiving calls can cause a lot of frustration Jamesgirl. I'm sorry your network extender isnt working properly but no worries because we are here to help. How long have you had issues with this accessory? Whats your zipcode and phone types? I recommend power cycling the Network extender. Keep us posted.

  • Qosmio F750 - Cannot get some functions to work after Win 8 uprgade

    I own a Qosmio F750-125, PQF75E.
    Since I upgraded to Win 8, utilizing Toshiba Upgrade Assistant I might add, I had some issues.
    Most importantly not being able to get my Toshiba Blu-ray player to install.
    Eventually I managed, still don't exactly how but anyway, to install the latest version 1.0.0.5.70A.
    The problem now is that the 3D function still don't seem to work.
    When I open a 3D movie I only get the picture to display side by side, despite clicking on the 3D button.
    I tried to update the Nvidia driver (v290) to the latest version v314, available on Nvidia site, for for my GeForce GT540M graphics card but every time I get a message that the driver cannot find compatible driver hardware. Eventually from within the upgrade files downloaded by Toshiba Upgrade Assistant I managed to install the v306. I am still however unable to install v 314, after the "system check" I still get the message that the driver can find compatible driver hardware.
    However, the 3D still does not work. I notice that the face detection (SuperD Xtune) does not automatically start with the Blu-ray player when I launch or open a 3D file to be played by the Toshiba Blu-ray player, as it used to.
    How can I get my Blu-ray Player to play my 3D properly again.
    If I open Xtune I am able to calibrate the 3D and then it closes.
    I do not see a app under all apps which seem to have anything to do with the face detection function.
    Is there a setting that need to be changed, an additional driver to be installed or what?
    I am really disappointed with the support I have received from Toshiba themselves on this issue.
    I also wanted to update the BIOS of my laptop.
    My bios version is 2 dating December 2011 but I notice that a newer BIOS is available from Toshiba Website dating February 2012, if I am not mistaken.
    I downloaded that but when I run it I receive a message that my computer is not compatible.
    **bleep** this is frustrating.
    I want to get my 3D function back and be sure to run the latest and most appropriate drivers, at all times.

    Thank you for patiently answering to my posts.
    You are right, despite extensive notes in the Toshiba Step-by-Step upgrade guide and specific mention that the Blu-ray player can only be installed by using the Upgrade Assistant, it is not installed by the Toshiba Upgrade Assistant.
    I am not sure though whether it actually did form part of the downloaded files but never the less I installed it by some miracle manually.
    It did not want to install at first. I received a message that the player could not be found. I noticed that the player is a sMedio Inc player and I then searched sMedio Inc and download their WinDVD Pro player. After that the Blu-ray driver from Toshiba installed.
    I also have it that v1.0.0.5.70A is the latest driver but through my local Toshiba Agent (MUSTEK) I received a driver from Germany and it was 1.0.0.5.48. I have not installed that as yet.
    I am convinced that the problem lies with the interaction between the Blu-ray Player, Nvidia driver and SuperD software.
    I searched my installed files and saw that I have Super D spd2900g and Super D X-tune installed. I uninstalled both and tried to re-install it form the file included in the Toshiba Upgrade Assistant (Super D IC Driver).
    However only the Super D spd2900g part installed and the Super D X-tune part is now missing.
    NOW I am completely BUGGERED because I do not know where to find the X-tune program to reinstall it.
    SuperD's website is very basic, in fact somewhat primitive.
    Thanks you also for the links, I have seen them somewhere and have had regard thereto but they are outdated.
    They relate to much older versions and windows 7 not 8.
    I must be honest, the poor response and support from Toshiba will most definitely lead to me not buying their product again. None of the so called technicians have help me achieve anything. I struggled and figured out everything myself so far.
    I still also have no answer in respect of the BIOS upgrade issue. Is there no one I can contact directly.

    I honeslty don't know this information. This stuff was bought at least a
    few years ago. A student who is now gone had put it together a while back.
    There were a lot of binders with it for instructions but none of it was
    very clear to me. I'm sending pictures with the parts I have
    (controller,drive,motor,etc.).

    Hi thanks for the reply. We got it connected via Ethernet now. We had to
    change the IP address of "local area connection" on the computer to
    192.168.10.1 for it to see the controller. So now that it is connecting to
    the controller, it keeps saying that the drives are all disabled. I have
    one drive connected to the controller in the Axis 0 port.

    Hi thanks for the reply.  Yes I have used the ACR view to specify which inputs to use before.  I used input 0 for the positive limit, input 1 for the negative limit, and input 2 for the home switch.  However, when using ACR view the switch kept displaying that the switch had been tripped when nothing was pressing against it.  I would also try pressing on the mechanical switch to see at least if the value would change but to no avail.

  • Cannot get my headphones to work after I closed my laptop.

    I have discovered that sometimes when I close for a few hours than reopen my computer the headphone jack will not work.  I do not get a red light it just does not work.  It works again if I restart the whole computer.  I have tried changing other settings but nothing helps.  the 'phones do not even show up in the menu.  I am a mac book pro only a about a year or so old.
