Please help - I did an oops.
A microsecond after hitting the Post Message button, I realized that I left an IP address and hostname in the post body that, for security reasons, I really wish wasn't there. The post is:

Would you mind editing that post to censor at least the IP address in that post before it gets indexed by web crawlers? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You do realize you have the ability to edit your own post after the fact?
Up until someone replies or for a certain number of minutes, you can click the pencil icon, next to the reply arrow.

It can't be done on the iPad using iPhoto for iOS. You need to use iPhoto for the Mac.

I did something stupid.
I restored a previous backup onto my iphone5, without doing a backup on current first. Previous backup was about 4 months ago, and now I found that I had lost 4 months worth of photos (and videos)
Is there anyway I can retrieve those lost photos? lots of precious memories of kids and family in there. Will do anything to have them back.
P.S: Read that somewhere photos won't be lost, but apparently it wasn't so.I kind of guessed that ....

curse the day I read that I can do a restore backup without doing a current backup .......
And all because some notes went missing ....

Language of some of my icons has changed and I can't seem to reverse it, please help!
A friend of mine was messing around with my laptop and managed to change the language to what I believe to be Russian. I changed the language under the 'International' tab back to English, but for some reason some of my icons (e.g. system preferences, software update and language menu) are still written in whatever language this is. I've fiddled about with the settings in the 'International' tab for hours but with no success and I can't find a solution anywhere. Please help!
Did you do logout/login after moving English to the top of the list?
Also you could try going to system prefs/international/language and using the Edit button to uncheck the box for Russian. -
I have a 4th generation iPod. My system is Windows 7, 64-bit. iPod not recognized in iTunes. It is in my computer. Also getting iTunes error message about cd/dvd drivers not properly installed. I've restalled 5 times and still not working. Finally got iPod software to properly install. Please help!

Boot Camp Crashed my computer Please help
I was trying to run boot camp so that I could install windows xp. Everything was going well until windows xp went in a circle. It would not load! I had to turn off the computer and restart it. I tried to hold down the alt/ option button to load the mac partition, but it doesn't exist. I then put in the original OS X cd and held down C. I tried to go into disk utility and format the drive but it says it's lock. I cannot do anything with my new lap top, please help
JohnI did the same thing, i used bootcamp and did ntsf and set it to 120 and left the rest for mac partition and them durring the install of windows it said error please restart and the all i go was a black sceen with dos blinker, and if i put in osx dvd and use disk utility it all dimmed out and shows unformatted on the mac partitin and ntsf on the windows partition. apple didnt help at all, i went to the manhatten store this October 3 at 1030am and was treated like dirt, i even have warrenty and the manager pretty much told me "well why dont you go back to the fashion iland store". I will tell you one thing, apple makes really nice stuff thats really expensive but when it goes bad they just put all the expense on you and throw you to the curb.. i was told to try disk worrior 4, its suppost to recover and rebuild your drive so you dont have to reinstall the os and take a loss of data...

When I attempt to save a new bookmark and want to save it in a folder the window that typically appears just below the address bar will not stay on the screen. It flashes on the screen and as soon as I move my cursor over it, it disappears. It will not allow me to make a selection of any kind. If I randomly hover over the general area the window will flash back in view but disappear again just as quickly. If I then show all my bookmarks, the bookmark was saved and I have to move it to the folder I actually want it in. Just a few extra steps, but still very annoying. Please help!

It is completely unresponsive! Ive read almost all of the apple articles about this and nothing works! This is the second time this has happened. The first time all I had to do was get a new charger! It worked for a couple of days then when I let it die and it became unresponsive to anything all over again! I cant keep buying new chargers! PLEASE HELP!

We have had several reports this past week of a Virus(AntiVirus8 or AV8) that can set a Kill-bit on the very Registry Key that FP uses for that ActiveX Control.
You may want to look and see if this is perhaps the problem. This needs to be ruled out first before we proceed, because if that key has the Kill-bit, then it wouldn't matter what you do.

ITunes 7 is not opening!?Please Help!
This new iTunes 7 is starting to really bug me. My problem is that everytime i try to open my iTunes the program opens for like 2 seconds then automatically closes. I've tried everything from repair in control panel and I even spent an hour on the phone trying to contact a tech but what he gave me was pointless and a waste of time. He emailed me this article "Removing iTunes For Window" and I did all as follows and it still didn't work. Is this a problem happening to anybody or just me? If anyone knows how to help PLEASE HELP!
Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, try to access the iTunes Store via the music app, this helped some users. -
