PLEASE HELP...I get an error when downloading certain videos to iPod.

I have and ipod video(obviously) and also have ipod movie/video converter. I have successfully converted and loaded 2 movies onto it. However when I try to down load a certain "adult content" video files I recieve an error message. It converts fine but when I go to iTunes and sync it says (file name) was not copied to (ipod name) because it cannot be played on this ipod. I have read a lot of other post about people having this type of video on their ipods so why not mine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sorry I made a change to this post and posted the wrong one by mistake. It is not just 1 video that is not working it is only on adult movies if you get my drift. Its like my ipod wont upload ***********. Everything else converts and copies to the ipod fine.

You have Distiller (used by the PDF Printer) or the Acrobat Quick Launcher running in the background. Shut down the processes or terminate them in task manager.

My phone keeps getting an error when downloading the new ios

Even when i connect to itunes i keep getting an error when downloading the new os. I have made 11 attempts.

download is corrupt. I finally solved it. I had changed my password on my appleid and had not updated it in my phone. After i got the same error on 3 different desktops i decided the error was in my phone and updated all my settings and the update worked the first time.

Quit all background apps before the download. You may be running out of storage space or memory that your phone needs for the install process. Check available space. Perform the 7.0.6 update via Wi-Fi, not cellular data. If wireless does not work, connect your iPhone to iTunes via USB and select your phone device name on the left iTunes panel and update via the Summary iTunes window.

Getting an error when downloading quicktime

It gets to the end and says " Network error when trying to download Quicktime" or something along the lines of that.

the -3 indicates an unspecified problem with the QT component of the itunes installer bundle. to get some more information about what might be causing the -3 in your particular case we need to try a standalone QT 7.1 install. (this might possibly get us past the -3 all on its lonesome, too.)
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.

Tryin to download Itunes on my laptop and the error message pops up. It tells me to to unistall and reinstall and its not fixing the problem??

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

I keep getting an error message when downloading an app..free or otherwise. States there is an issue with PayPal account...which I have closed to try and get around this error to no avail.

If you do not get a reply within three to five business days, report the issue to Apple here > Apple - Support - Mac App Store - Contact Support
Apple's policy states, "all sales are final" > TUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE -TERMS AND CONDITIONS but if you explain the error and you haven't received areply from the developer, it can't hurt to request a refund.
You're sure there's enough free space on the startup disk?

Error when downloading Pixar Video

I purchased a Pixar Video (Geri's Game) and have been unable to download it. I get this error message "There was an error downloading your purchased music. The Disk could not be read from or written to." I have been sent through the wringer with ITunes support for 6 days. They won't refund me and they have not been able to fix the problem. I can still download music from the store with no problem. The video is still sitting in my download queue and every time I launch ITunes it sends me out to the store to download purchased music and then errors out with the same message. I have 200GB space on the drive where the music is stored and I have opened up the permissions on the ITunes folder to everyone full control. Help.

I keep getting different errors when trying to sync my Ipod Classic.

I get the following: Unknown error -50, a duplicate file name has been specified, unknown error 1342, the ipod could not be located, the ipod is corrupt. I have bought a few new cds and wanted to sync them, but it won't let me do anything. I have restored it several times. I have also deleted and reinstalled Itunes twice. Please help. I seemed to have figured it out...... I hard reset my Iphone and rebooted my computer and it seemed to work. It also seemed there was a music file that was not being recognized, I just erased it and everything worked fine after that.... very strange but I am so glad I figured it out.....

The setup program runs and quicktime downloads and creates an icon and when installing the itunes portion, when the status bar is nearing the end, an error message will come up saying
" Could not open key: HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\.cdda\OpenWithProgIds.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your suppost personnel. "

even though you're not getting a 1406 or 1402 error message number with this, first try working through the suggestions from this troubleshooting document:
Error 1406 or 1402 appears when you install iTunes or QuickTime for Windows
