Please help! I have pixilated program windows and functions on my recent installation throughout all programs?
Just installed my software on a new mac (second installation). The program functions and windows are all pixilated. I can't work with this! It needs to be crisp quality! There was no installation issues! Please help!

If you had installed iOS 7 it would be Activation locked, but I see you only have iOS 5. You do have a backup of you iPad files on your computer or iCloud, don't you?
If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

I made purchases on i books on my iphone 4 but it broke before i got a chance to back it up have since gotten a new phone but half the books are missing.
i have spent well over $100 on books and am quite baffled as to how i can rectify this problem, PLEASE helpIf they are still in the store then you should be able to re-download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app, or via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

Audible still shows the book (although i purchased it in itunes) but was playing it in audiobooks, it shows the book there but says no data when i try to play it.
It shows in my purchase history in my account but not in my itunes library and I really begrudge paying8 quid again just to listen to last 20/30 minutes - but it is so frustrating i have literally spent hours searching blogs for hints and would appreciate any helpDid you fail to transfer all purchases to your compter before updating?

That screen is saying it has gone into recovery mode and you need to use the instructions for attaching by recovery mode given in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Can someone please help, I have a dvd disk containing lecture videos, on a Windows pc it works fine, and the disk opens to the dvd menu. However on my macbook pro running Mountain Lion, it opens as a data disk, with video and audio in two seprate files??

BurrWalnut mentioned, first please run a virus scan to eliminate virus infection (if AV program is not opened in adobe)
The files association could be corrupted in your situation, apart from the solution posted in the first reply, I also suggest you check Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set your Default Programs or Associate a file type or protocol
with a progra,, manually check the association and check if it can do some help.
Add: another way to open restore point is launching it in recovery console, please refer to this guide
