Please help I tried to update my I phone 5 now its locked up
tried to update now phone locked up and i tunes wont recognize it what should I do i cant restore because i tunes is frozen
my phone started rining i went to answer it and it went crazy shut off then locked up all it says is to plug phone into computer and connect to itunes ???? please help I need it for work my job is rideing on me getting it up and running asap

It's in recovery mode. Anything that was on the phone and not already backed up is already gone. You have no choice but to restore.

i have updated my itunes but when im restoring my iphone 5 phone it keeps coming up with 'unknown error occurred (3) please help as i cannot even turn my phone on now

Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.

I tried to update my iPod touch, but now its stuck in recovery mode.
Okay so I plugged my iPod into my computer today and it said there was a new update available. I clicked update, but after it finished syncing/updating it went into recovery mode. It says I need to restore the iPod, but everytime I restore it, it just goes back into recovery mode. Iv'e tried shutting it off but it doesn't help

That would tend to indicate a permissions issues on the computer.
Running an outdated version of iTunes is of absolutely no benefit.
All iDevices work with the current version of iTunes. -
I have tried to update my i phone 4 to version 5, but it came up with the error message of 1603 during , and asked if i wanted to continue which i did , but it has now frozen with the apple logo on the front and a bubble underneath it?? it wont turn off , sync or do anything??? help???

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like app, music and videos. Thus, you wll have to resync those back to your iPod.

YOu will need to contact your cell phone provider to resolve those issue, those are carrier features.
