PLEASE HELP! I've come to a complete STOP! GRADE ENTIRE PROJECT

Please help.. I've not really used COLOR before in any serious situation, But heres my situation. I've completed my movie project in FCP, it has some 200 edits, is about 1 hour long and is DV PAL Anamorphic.
All i want to do is run the entire edited project through COLOR (im wanting to de-interlace and add a film-look to it in the FX tab).
I notice on a test run that COLOR put every clip into a separate folder.. so how does one assemble all of these clips from these folders in FCP? Its here that im totally lost! Basically put, How do i get the completed COLOR'd project out of COLOR?
I need to understand better the work-flow from FCP to COLOR and viceversa.

Firstly, im right now in the process of rendering the enitre timeline that I'd sent from FCP in COLOR. Therefore I have not tried getting the media out of COLOR yet. However, I did a quick test of just 3 clips and noticed how COLOR handled the output i.e. putting each clip into separate folders. Thus it begged my question, how do I manage this back in FCP? I was thinking that all these clips would just be slapped back into the Media Browser in FCP, leaving me with all my current rushes and untreated timeline. IT just seemed all a little confusing!
I did think of rendering out to a QT movie and doing as Ham suggested but I thought this may have an impact on the final quality as it adds another process (beit compression) to the movie, but Im not sure if that is the case?!
As previously mentioned, I have SENT TO Color from FCP, created the PRESET, then applied that preset to the entire TimeLine now in COLOR. It's taking like forver and probably have another couple of hours to wait before I see the result!
This is probably more a question on work-flow as COLOR is the one programs in FCS i know so little about! Still getting to grips with the rest of FCS!! lol

I am in dilemma.
Recently i have joined a new organization which is a world leader in its field . The company name is very popular around the globe. But the thing is its almost 4 months , and as an Oracle DBA , i am not getting chance to work on something interesting / challenging . The thing is , i studied the environment here and i think most of my work involves only preparing DB docs , attending meeting and raising support tickets once a while. So very minimal technical work.
To be honest, in last 4 years of my career i haven't worked in such a large organization before so during interview i didn't ask for type of work ,and i just wanted to join this organization as it will have a dramatic impact when i mention the name in my resume . I do not want to quit this organization so early because it will have a bad impression . Also , i think speaking to my bosses will not work because they cant help it in any way .
I am happy with every thing else here , but i want to leave this company for doing something challenging as an Oracle DBA , but want to stay here because every thing else is damn good and also when i switch to a new company after 2 years , people will be dying to hire me ;) , am i contradicting ?
Please help me to come out of this dilemma.

Well, joining a big company from a small company and then leaving it just in few days would actually backfire. Next hiring people would think that since you were in capable to handle the workload in a big company(because you never worked in such environment before), you were thrown out. You won't be able to justify your reason that you left because you didnt' find enough challenge there because it can be completely blown away by a simple counter that how did you know that there was no challenging work there as you never stayed there even for a year too! So IMO, you would do more harm for you than anything good be quitting now. Its a mistake not to ask about the work but you have committed it already . What you should n't do is to do add another one and that is to leave the company now.
Since you are not having much work, why don't you use it learn more about the company, its various works, other divisons and above all, to learn oracle database in your spare time. There is no place where you would be given challenges for your sake. If there is work it would come to you else you would be remaining free. You are working as a normal dba I believe not in support or something like that for you, every time, a new issue ticket is ready. If you have spare time with you, use it wisely to understand how things are working , both in your organization and with oralce db. Spend time doing trainings and learn more about the product, complete at least and then leave.

The performance fixes is a biggy for me, though the other missing

Well ... now that's the rub. I would actually welcome this intermediate version to play with (even with the cost of upgrading) if I could rely on it to be finalized into 6.0, full featured, without it taking as long as it has to Upgrade from AA3.0. I would say it was a VERY smart move to give us a preview of 6.0, if I felt in, say, six months they would provide us the fully functional update. But, HOW many years has it been. I felt screwed over while they played around with Sound Booth.
I was with you for a minute in most of what you said, until your credibility went down a couple notches with me on the statement trivializing midi functionality. I though that was a very clueless statement:
"but I have no need for a midi controller and if I want a drummer to keep perfect time I'll get a drum machine."

IMovie crashed. Completely lost an ENTIRE PROJECT

I just recently updated my Macbook pro to OS X Mavericks Version 10.9 and so I also updated my iMovie to Version 10.0.1. I used it the whole day yesterday and it kept crashing everytime I used the "Ken Burns" crop tool specifically. It will first lag then crash. Or My entire macbook would lag then I'd have to restart it. So when it came down to me about to export it just doing the final touches, I used the tool again then t lagged (OF COURSE) and I had to restart. The difference this time was, when I restarted my macbook, I opened iMovie again and IT LOST MY ENTIRE PROJECT. IT WASN'T THERE. It says that there are two projects but I can only see one which I did earlier. The other is nowhere to be found.
Does anyone know how I can recover my project? I friggin' worked hard on that and all was loss. I haven't set up my time machine.
Is there still a way that I can recover my lost project?

Same thing happened to me, luckily I just started a new project, but Its very annoying, a tool that use to work is now all of a sudden useless . . . or less effective cause you can't make use of the crop function.
I'm considering rebuilding my machine with old version of OSX.
Is there a fix for this ?

I was in San Francisco last week and stopped in @ the apple store to see if they could help. I explained my situation. The store employee plugged in my ipod and to my surprise it worked. i have no idea what happened. The store employee was at a loss as well. Bottom line though, we both figured my mini needed a new battery. So, I have ordered a new battery.
I guess this proves that old ipods never die...they are just a little harder to wake up

I reseted my 320n because i replaced my wrt160nl. i put latest firmwire and i think i choose to activate usb function even if 320n does not have usb function then my router stopped working, reboots itself and i can not connect to it via LAN and the wireless led is not working anymore and not indicating anything.
Did I screw the firmwire. I can not reset it. And boots itself from time to time. What can I Do?

Do a 1 minute reset. Also make sure the power adapter you’re using is correct. The output should be 12v 1A.

Please Help!!! After Effects has stopped importing .m2t files!!!

I have run into a realtively urgent problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I am making a video in after effects cs4 for a client using footage captured in HDV split that show as .m2t files. I have edited with these files in after effect before, but now all of a sudden when I go to file -> import and select the file I get an immediate "After Effects error: Can't import file" ....."unsupported filetype of extension".
I also noticed it wouldn't let me import .mpg files however .mov files import no problem.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can someone please help. I noticed that all my calendar events have completely disappeared :( I made sure that under settings "mail/contacts/calendars", that under sync it is "all events". Not working.

Check settings > iCloud > calendars. Is it on or off?

My program is turning against me! please help

Background: Last year, I was in Comp. Sci. 1 at my high school. I tried to make a humongous game that I only partially got finished for my final project. Now, a year later, after I forgot most of java, and all of what I had written, I am trying to improve it.
Problem: There are various problems. On my computer at home, the program just stops after I work with it enough. No errors, no graceful shutdown, it just comes to a complete stop so I have to log out/in to fix it. Also, a canvas in my game seems to have to problem of, every once in a while, returning null when I call get getGraphics(). But that only happens like 1 out of 10 times I run it. Also, sometimes it give me an error to the effect of "null pointer exception", but it neglects to tell me where in my program the error came from, it just lists about half a dozen instances of threads (or I think thats what it is). How can I fix any of these problems? Thanks,

My first thought on reading your subject line is to tell you to unplug skynet now before it gets into the network...
That aside you haven't given us a whole lot to work from but I can tell you this. You have a variety of seemingly fatal threading issues and problems. I must warn you that these sorts of issues are often only resolvable by a ground up re-write because it's possible that your threading model is just that much of a mess.
Anyway it's threading related based on your symptoms because of two things
- the kind of freezing you describe
- it appears from the rest of your post that threads are deadlocking. Essentially thread A is holding on to Object apple and wants to use object Pear. But thread B is holding on object Pear and won't let go until it gets Object apple
Anyway you'll have to start posting your threading relevent code if you want more help. Please make sure to use the code tags. I'll tell you right now though thread deadlock all over the place with whatever race conditions etc you are experiencing is not a good sign.
Not to feel bad. Threading is not an easy topic to learn, which is why it's best to start small. But we'll see what we can do.

For PDF documents the "archive as" button do not appear but only the "active" button. Please help me?

My "achive as" button do not appear when im trying to save a scanned PDF document but only the "achive" button. Do anyone know why?
I have tried seraching the internet for answer but without any result.
A solution to the prblem is to press doublicate and then "archive" then i get the option to save in a specific loaction (notice that even after doublicating i don't get the option to archvie as). This is a quick fix but would like to know how to fix the problem probably.
Here is some background
-The problem also appears on exsisting pdf document and documents from other users.
- i open it in apple standard preview program
- The problem appaered 6 months ago after and general apple software upgrade.
- I don't have any "download" folder in my finder menu ( I don't know if this is a relevant information but could have somthing to do with the settings i.e. as administor even though it is my own mac).
Please help me before i will go completly CRAZY, it is super frustrating.

IIf the battery was completely drained it might take some time before the phone will respond. Wait at least 30 minutes with the phone connected to the charger. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the phone starts up let it continue to charge until it's 100%.
if the broken button will not let you do the reset Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
