Please HELP- iMovie06 fails to load

Hi everyone!
I keep getting the 'app quit unexpectedly message' everytime I try to use iMovie06
Tried moving the imovie.plist to the trash, reinstalled imovie and it still wont open.
I did some researching online and came across this from the apple site:
2) Disable non-essential QuickTime components
1. Navigate to /Library/QuickTime/ for a list of components currently installed.
2. Temporarily disable any components that are not in the list below. You can disable the components by moving them to the Desktop or another folder outside of the /Library/QuickTime/ folder.
3. Open iMovie and see if the issue is resolved. If iMovie no longer unexpectedly quits, check to see if an updated component is available, or contact the developer of the component for further recommendations.

**In my folder, along with the AppleIntermediateCodec.component , I have Flip4Mac WMV advanced, import, export components.
I removed them to another folder and tried opening imovie which once again quit unexpectedly.
* I am far from being a tech with macs, so its most likely im overlooking something...
Also, I did purchase MPEG STreamclip from apple for the vids from my camcorder to work.( although it wasnt in the quicktime folder with the components mentioned above)

But it had been working fine and nothing was changed ..

Cleaning out the system caches may help against problems like your.
I use "Cache Out X", but there are other tools. Be sure to get one for your version of Mac OS X.

Please help - CSAuth Fails to load after upgrading from V3.3 to V4.0.1

We have recently upgraded ACS V3.3 to V4.0.1 on Windows server 2003 SP1. However, now the windows service CSAuth fails to start. There's nothing in the CSAuth log file either.
If we do clean installs, installing V3.3 from new and then do a upgrade to V4.0.1 on a clean system it works fine.
The problem seems to be when we install fresh 3.3, then replicate our existing dbase to it, then upgrade to 4.0.
Does anyone have any ideas - any thoughts would be most welcomed,

When you say nothing in the csauth log... do you mean nothing at all... or nothing that looks like an error?
Try setting logging to max and seeing where it gets to.
I suspect there is something in your 3.3 config that doesnt get upgraded corectly. Its impossible for every scenario to be tested - Im not sure how much upgrade testing actually gets done. Probably left until the end of the test cycle.

I dont think there were any problems in the classpath or
servletpath;Basically WeblogicServer was able to locate the servlet but when
it tried to load the servlet it gave this exception.

However, one mistake you have in the configuration you provided:
You put D:\weblogic\BDL\servletclasses in both CLASSPATH and
weblogic.class.path, remove it from CLASSPATH.

I dont know what is wrong here. In the weblogic.policy file,I tried
differrent combinations but it never worked.
I find weblogic documentation for troubleshooting to be pathetic.Notuseful
at all.Documentation looks
good to read ;not for practical purposes.I'm not sure whether others have
similar opinion.
I'm stuck at this thing for the past few days,I still have lot of work todo
to purusue our management team to buy weblogic

PLEASE HELP-HOW DOES A LOADED IPOD GET INTRODUCED TO A DIFFERENT COMPUTER

without losing the music on it? What has to happen, how, and when does it have to happen. I sold my IPOD and the new owner does not want to lose any of the music. People have written in that it can be done and it cant be done? please help. Jeff

I have found that the format that the ipod is originally introduced to is the only format that will recognize the ipod. So if you format your ipod on a mac when you first get it, only other mac computers will recognize it and not windows computers. However, if you introduced it to a windows computer first, the ipod can be recognized by any machine. This is what my previous experiences shows. If you want the ipod to be recognized by any computer, you must restore the ipod and format it to windows or whichever computer the owner has (this will result in the loss of music and other files). Sorry.

Please help me: Failed 8310 OS update to OS 4.5 via Desktop Manager

As of this morning, I can't use my Blackberry curve 8310......for anything.
My problems started just as I was about to do a routine USB cable sync between my BB and Outlook.
I was informed by Desktop Manager v 4.7 that OS 4.5 is available.
I delayed the sync, and start the update process.
Everything............. except my BB restart and data reload.......... completed flawlessly.
Then a message says the update has failed, & the entire thing halts.
So, I wait a while then pull the USB cable & turn off the BB.
Turn on......the result was hourglass & white screen.
Removed & replaced battery....result was hourglass & white screen.
Restarted PC and connected BB...........result was hourglass & white screen & Desktop Manager does not recognise BB Connection, but Windows XP sees BB media minus folders.
Reinstalled Desktop manager....... still not recognising BB USB connection on the main screen.
Even though I have all the information saved in Outlook, I am getting desperate.
QUESTIONS:
Is there anything I can do to get my BB curve 8310 operational again?
Should I consider reloading an OS?
My phone is unlocked, so not sure if trying to download and reinstall an OS will LOCK the phone.
The unit's previous startup screen used to show a T-Mobile image.
Should I download the UK T-Mobile OS upgrade?

Good luck, this will work... I have done it many times.
Be patient with JLCmder. If it does not work at first, keep trying, I have seen it take 20-25 tries before it "connected".
Try it with and without the battery inserted if you must.

The SOAP action is similar what you find in generated schema for inserting data in Oracle (see for reference my
post on table operations on SQL Server). What message type is going into the send port, perhaps tracing can help you to see what messagetype
is going to send port (you can now use BizTalk CAT Instrumentation Framework Controller to find out, see my latest
post). My guess is that what you test with in VS with instance of a message is not similar as too what is happening inside
BTS.

Please Help! Outlook Today Loads and Then Disappears Within 1-2 Seconds

I have been using Outlook 2007 since January of 2012 on this computer with no issues. One day I came in and my outlook today page was completely blank which it is normally full. I really depend on having this feature which allows me to have all of my information
up front. I have tried several steps over the last couple weeks and can not fix it.
I have tried;
1. Restarting the computer & restarting the program
2. Downloaded and imported my pst file from outlook exchange
3. Ran the ScanOST and ScanPST applications with no results
4. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program
The weird thing is I can see the information and it is accurate (ie. tasks, calendar events, messages in inbox) however it will disappear within 1-2 seconds of loading the program. Also if I click on calendar or inbox and then back to outlook today it will
load again for another 1-2 seconds and then disappear.
I also have a laptop running the same installer of outlook 2007, on the same network in my office, and outlook today works perfect on it, however I rely on my desktop to get my work done.
Please any help will be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you did everything I can think of but here are a few other suggestions:
-Right click the folder where outlook today is and choose data file properties and then Home page. Click Restore Defaults
-Disable any Add-ins
-Remove any PST files
-Recreate your outlook profile
-Start Outlook in safe mode (which disables add-ins) by going to a run line and typing outlook.exe /safe.
-Rename outlwvw.dll to outlwvw.old. The file is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033 or C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033

Please help - Motherboard fails to boot on power up

I could really do with some help here please as my motherboard fails to boot on power up.
I get the message "
Reboot & select proper boot device or install boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
When I press a key I get the same message.
When I press the reset key the system boots into XP ok from the Raid Array.
BIOS settings are to boot from raid
HELP PLEASE as I need to get the system stable before I flash the BIOS with and upgrade.

Appreciate a help on this urgently..... I am new to weblogic server & this technologies ... we created IPM,UCM,SOA clusters on one domain (my_domain), all the servers of all the clusters in 1st machine started .... but IPM server is not starting on the 2nd machine (other servers - SOA and UCM started on the 2nd machine)

when I check the error number BEA-000140, it says
Cause - Server failed to deserialize object since it does not have the class definition. This usually happens if your application classes are not deployed on all the nodes in the cluster. It is preferable to deploy beans to all the nodes of the cluster.
Action - Make sure all the classes are available on all the nodes of the cluster.
Could any one give steps as how to do this or the solution to this problem.... I am new to weblogic..

This is definitely the problem:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.imaging.input.inputagent.InputAgent
The cause is likely that the configuration during installation of IPM went wrong somehow or the particular way you are starting the server is missing the IPM libraries. This is not so much a WebLogic Server issue as an IPM issue. I recommend you try posting in one of the Content Mgmt forums like WebCenter Content or open a support case with the IPM team.

Please Help -- Dynamic Text Wont Load :-(

Hi Gang,
I've just written a quick mail form in Flash8Pro/PHP - the
user enters their contact details & a message, and it sends it
off to the specified email address.
The feature works fine for the most part, but there's one
little problem. The dynamic text field that confirms the message
has been sent successfully isn't working properly. I'm using the
following php code to send dynamic text back to the flash document
saying the message has gone through OK:
print "sendresult=Message Sent!";
where sendresult is the name of the dynamic text field's
variable.
The strange thing is that the code works fine if the
sendresult dynamic text field is inserted into the main flash
document. It's only when I put the sendresult field into the movie
clip that holds the flash mail form (including the button with the
loadvariablesnum command), that the text won't update at all. I've
tried:
print "_root.enquirypage.sendresult=Data Sent!"
and
print "enquirypage.sendresult=Data Sent!", but neither of
those make any difference.
Any suggestions? Anybody know what's causing this problem?
Any help would be very very appreciated - I know I could probably
get around this by just setting the visibility of the dynamic text
field on & off when necessary and keeping it in the main flash
doc, but I'll be using this feature quite a lot and I'd really like
a proper/versatile solution. In case it's necessary, the
actionscript that sends the message off to the php is just:
loadVariablesNum ("form.php", 0, "POST");

Your code loadVariablesNum ("form.php", 0, "POST"); will load
your variable sendresult in level 0 - the main timeline. If you put
the text field inside a movie clip it expects a local variable in
that movie clip.
Use _level0.sendresult or _root.sendresult as the dynamic
field's variable.
Or, instead of loadVariablesNum you could use loadVariables,
like this:
_root.enquirypage.loadVariables("form.php", "POST");
or, if you make the call from a button inside the movie clip:
this.loadVariables("form.php", "POST");

Please help. iPhoto keeps crashing/loading on start up :(

I have tried opening my iPhoto today and it just keeps loading/crashing and force quit does not work. I have to turn the Mac book off manually. Please can anyone give me any clue as to how to fix this as I do not want to loose my photos!

Does it crash or hang? what version of iPhoto and of the OS? the only way to be sure you do not lose your photos is to have a good backup at all times - without one you are 100% guarenteed to lose all of yoru files and photos sooner or later

hello there,
i've just finally managed to install ovi player (though on my father's laptop; did not work for my pc nor my dad's), registered under comes with music and was all good to go -- or so i thought.
i'm having trouble downloading anything. each track gets a "download failed" status after "downloading".
i'm wondering if there were any steps i failed to take; my usb is connected under media transfer.
it's pretty upsetting to be continuously let down by nokia, however i am optimistic for a solution.
prompt responses/any help would be greatly appreciated.

update:
i've managed to download an entire album, so praise goodness. however, i still get "download failed" a bunch of times. its occurrence seems random as of now, and i would still really appreciate an explanation or solution to this. thanks.

PLEASE HELP RE FAILED DOWNLOAD

I've trie to download application frmo ovi, however download failed at first attempt, and then failed again at second attempt, however I've now received 5 texts thanking me for my purchase, so no doubt have been charged 5 times (at £8 per app as well).
Having scrolled through the ovi support webpage for a resolution or assistance, I must say, its the worst support I've ever come across. I've been trying for half an hour to get an email contact so I can raise this problem, but ths ovi support page won't let me sign in (404 page not found error).
Can anyone provide me with a contact email for ovi store where I can raise this issue to someone.

I had made a repair load for 5 records from a source ods to target ods.After Repair load I found 3 records are correct but 2 still missing . I made again repair load but data was again missing. All the 5 records share the same conditions...Plz tell me what can be the reasons that 3 are correctly loaded and 2 could not. What Can be the solution for them???

hi,
have you chked in source ods active table for the presence of 5 records which you require.
if so do the full repair upto PSA and chk its presence in the PSA.
then load to ods and chk in new data table then activate the ods and chk
so you could findthe records where it is missing.
