Please Help! iTunes 7.6.2.9 skips when playing while browsing with Firefox
Why does iTunes skip when browsing with Firefox? I don't have this problem when browsing with Safari or Internet Explorer. I have also contacted the folks at the Firefox forums, but they didn't have an answer either.
I have been having this problem since iTunes 7, and I have not yet received any answer that has solved the issue. I was previously directed to another post here , which discussed a workaround involving +Quicktime/Sound settings+, but that didn't help either. Please help!

I'm expreriencing the same conditions with the same environment. Windows 8, iTunes-64 11.1.2.32, iTunes Store with a processing bar up to 80 +/- and the POPUP MESSAGE OF "iTunes stopped working. The error ...."
I UNINSTALLED, iTUNES WITH NO POSITIVE RESULT. I CHECKED THE FIREWALL AND IS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE PREVIOUS ITUNES VERSION.

Please HELP, "iTunes has stopped working" error after connecting iPod video
People please help me out! I have a Razer Blade gaming laptop with Windows 8 64bit.
I have an iPhone 5, iPad 2 and an iPod video (80GB). I had some weeks from not connecting the iPod to my computer, but this morning that I did so I can upload some new music to it, iTunes just crash, I get the "iTunes has stopped working" error message when I connect the iPod video. I do not have this problem with either the iPhone 5 or the iPad 2, when I connect these, iTunes works fine, once I connect the iPod, then all goes down
Procedures that I already tried and that were unsuccessful to solve the problem:
Uninstall Quicktime
Uninstall iTunes and reinstall
Reset the iPod (several times)
Delete TEMP files on computer
Restart the computer (several times)
Use a different cable and a different USB port
The iPod is working fine, if I plug it to my car stereo or if I use it with headphones it works great, no problems nor errors. My computer also identify the iPod as a hard disk, no error messages from Windows, it is just the freakin' iTunes that freezes everytime that I plug the iPod
PLEASE HELP ME OUT, I've searched forums on this particular issue but with no luck.

Do you have the "Convert to 128 kbps AAC" preference enabled for syncing to the iPod, laur?
If so, it's quite plausible that you've got the iTunes 10.1.0.54 bug and we need to get you updated to 10.0.1.56 as per the following document:

Can't burn music I purchased months ago, I could only burn the 4 cuts I bought this evening,6/9/12 message said originals cannot be found? [email protected]Fixed. /Users/x/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/AirKeysInputManager.bundle got corrupted by a badly installed safari extension. Deleting this, then reinstalling adobe air did the trick. I wasn't thorough enough on my first try, it was tricky to find everything associated. I had to look for files in the console log then search for them. Spotlight was missing some deep files, EasyFind worked better for me.

hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the

What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

If not, and as you say that you don't have a credit or debit card (though not all debit cards appear to be accepted anyway) then you will need to create a new account, and use the instructions on the about 'create an iTunes ...' page when creating it. -

Now in Mtn Lion it has took the playing rights from me and locked them off!

Right-click in it > Show in Finder. Finally, right-click in that file > Get Info > Sharing & Permissions. See if you have got read permission,
Clicked through the Get Info > Sharing & Permissions and when I closed the window the song played again.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) I decied to load some songs from my old computer which had windows xp. I used a flash drive and loaded them onto my new computer with windows 7. Ever since all songs from my itunes library skip when played, even the ones purchased or imported. Help how can I fix this? Would it help to deauthorize my computer and then authorize it again? I tried diagnosing the compatibility and changed it to windows xp service pack 2, but it did'nt ffix it.

Unfortunately, SoftBank does not offer authorized unlocking of iPhone.
Your best option is to sell this phone and buy another iPhone from the carrier of your choice or better buy a factory unlocked iPhone so you would be able to use it with any compatible GSM carrier around the world. -

I have been getting the same message as well on any transactions I have tried to place. I attempted to contact iTunes support, but was only allowed to leave an email regarding this problem. I will keep you posted if I hear anything.
