My laptop, HP Pavillion DV6-6047CL Entertainment PC came with a Lisenced Windows and it was Geninue. So one day I left my computer on for about 10 minutes, when I came back there was a notification saying 'This Windows is not Geninue'. Please help me out ASAP! I am really worried. Thank you.

I suggest contacting Microsoft's Customer Service. They will be able to validate your copy of Windows. They have a record of all valid copies. I have had this happen in the past and a call to them solved the problem.

Please help! Mail is freaking out on me!
Mail is downloading thousands of messages into my inbox, i think it's old emails from my yahoo account (the email service i use), but normally in my in-box i have about 100 messages. they keep coming and won't stop, even when i quit mail and go back in, they keep coming. Each message seems to be coming in multiple times. Also, i am not receiving new messages. anyone know what i can do?
And what are all those messages doing on the server? What are your Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove copy from server settings? If you leave the messages on the server indefinitely, Mail may eventually end up losing track of which messages have already been downloaded, maybe as a result of some changes made at the server.
I don’t think you’ll be able to fix this problem without moving a significant amount of messages out of the server’s inbox. You may tell Mail to remove from the server all the messages that have already been downloaded by means of Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove now. Alternatively, you may use the Account Info window to remove specific messages from the server — choose Get Info (⌘I) from the Action menu (gear icon) located below the mailbox list in the main Mail window.
If the account allows web access, however, it may be preferable to remove the messages from the server that way, or at the very least move the messages to other server-stored mailboxes if the server provides that functionality via webmail.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library. -

To use the keyboard to empty the Trash, press Command-Shift-Delete (that's the large Delete button two rows above Return).
Normally, to delete a locked item when emptying the Trash, one would press Option while selecting Empty Trash from the Special menu. However, adding Option to the Command-Shift-Delete combo does not seem to work (just tested it).
If the issue is indeed software based, it should not be at play when the machine is booted to an OS Install CD. That's one of the reasons to boot to a CD - all software on the hard drive becomes nothing more than data files; none of it is in use.
One of the main causes for such behavior when using an Apple Pro mouse is that those mouses had a defect - the wires inside the cable could fray at the point the cable leaves the mouse body, causing random open or short circuits.
Another possible cause occurs when an optical mouse overloads the non-powered hub in the keyboard. This happened to me - it finally killed the keyboard. After replacing the keyboard I came across Apple KBase Article #58649 - Apple Pro Keyboard: Devices Connected. I reconfigured my USB connection scheme so that the mouse was plugged into the powered hub in my monitor, and have not had a similar problem since. -

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

Please help with cancellation! running out of time
i really really need to cancel my purchase of illustrator, my first month is about to be over and i am running out of time! i can't seem to be able to do it according to the proper steps, because it does not appear in my plans or downloaded items. all that appears is a free creative cloud plan which does not have the option of cancellation. according to my bank, adobe has charged me for the first month of the package, so i don't know why it does not appear in my packages. please help as soon as possible. is there no way to contact adobe other than these forums?

Account Hijack - Please help I've really run out o...
I'm posting here out of desparation. I've filled out the long and unrewarding contact by email form several times. But have never received a response. Once I received a we need more infomration form, but upon completion my request just disappeared into a black hole.
About 72hours ago my account was hacked and hijacked by an 'ethical hacker'. He changed my regstered email account and password. He's since been fishing my contacts for FTP passwords, email accounts and any other sensitive information he can find.
I have tried 5 0r 6 times to send an email via the contact forms to GET MY ACCOUNT SUSPENDED, I've told all me friends to block and report the hacker, but still sykpe allow him to continue.
Where should I go with this?, obvoulsy the account to which I refer is not this one, but I don't want to list the name here on an open forum.

I think customer support usually reply within 24 hours (but could be longer in certain cases). They may also require you to provide some information to verify that you are the real owner of that account, before they can possibly assist you in regaining access to it.

I'm trying to build a dynamic table that functions as a calendar...(see http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/javacook/chapter/ch18.html for the basic idea and code structure).
Here's the problem...I want to make each date inside of the table a hyperlink to a new page. I figured out how to create the hyperlinks, but I CAN'T figure out how to create hyperlinks that pass variables to a new page.
Here's the code that works:

for day 2:
"/newpage.jsp?year=2002&month=January&date=2"
...for day 31:

But You tried to use it inside the string expression and it generated some code like this:

, didn't it?
It invokes method out.print(" ... "), that prints this string value (but in the HTML block). So You tried to print something inside the print method. You should rewrite Your code like this:

I've never heard of such a thing.
Usually the software installs regardless of drive performance, it's just slower on a stock 5,400 drive and I fail to see why Adobe would deny all the Mac users the ability to install Cs6 based upon this limitation.
Most Mac's came with 5,400 RPM laptop drives as they take less power.
Ive tried to download the sofware and it fails.. I'm tearfully trying to understand if it is my computer that cannot dowload the software or is it the software that is faulty.
It should be able to download, the software won't know what speed of the drive is until the software is run.
I would look at a slow, hobbled or data capped Internet connection or some other issue as your problem.
Contact the vendor, it's their money your giving them, let them solve your problem. -
Help my keyboard is freaking out
help my keyboard stopped working and randomly enters things when I press the letter F and the trackpad freaks out whenever i try to use it. The only thing ive don in the past day was set it on the counter while I was in the shower.

That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.

Please help, I can't figure out how to use the cable modem...
I'm visiting my sister in Baltimore, Maryland for about 3 weeks, and I want to set up the internet on my macbook so i don't have to keep using her powerbook g4. She has a Motorola Comcast Cable Modem set up for her powerbook, but I can't figure out how to find the info about her connection so I can copy it down into my computer. I keep going to her system preferences section and clicking the network button, but none of the various internet connections shown are actually the one she uses to connect. Please tell me where I can find her cable provider's info in her powerbook and where, in my macbook, i can enter this information and get on the internet.
p.s. i don't know if this is necessary info, but with the motorola cable modem came an installation disk for if you wanted to use the usb drive cord instead, but that disk isn't even read properly in my macbook. like, it lets me open up the disk and see all the files on it but it doesn't automatically start up an installation wizard so i really have no way of installing the items on the disk.well, i can't really tell if i am only allowed one connection with this isp. basically, whenever i plug in the ethernet cord, all of the information gets filled in in the ethernet section of the network, except for the router info. there is router info filled in on my sister's computer whenever i plug the cord into her computer, though. does that mean i can't also use the modem for my computer? sorry, this is both my first time using a mac and my first time using anything other than dial-up, so i'm pretty lost. thanks for the info you've given me thus far.

Please HELP!!Getting booted out of Livecycle
I have been using the alt key to help "nudge" items into place. In the current document I am working on, everytime I try to use the alt key, I get kicked out of livecycle. I don't get an error message, just a popup box that says "Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I tried re-saving an re-naming my form, but it is still doing the same thing.
I cannot reinstall adobe/adobe livecycle without going through our IT department. Is there anything that I could try on my own to resolve the problem?
Any help would be appreciated!!It was happening with one file. I think I may have figured it out. My snap to grid was on and I think that when I used the Alt key it was conflicting with this. I turned my snap to grid off and I seem to be able to use the Alt key. THANK YOU so much for taking the time to try to help with my question.

i have already installed it 3 or 4 times cause of issues.....
i never got the blue screen or login problems!!!!
first time, it just didnt work, so i reinstalled it and thought it was great!!!!!
second time, after reinstalling it the internet menu would only show me the network i was connected it to!!! i called apple, spoke with a level 3 tech and he called me back next say and walked me through re installing it!!!!
third time..... it was working great and this morning i was looking for my other network but it will again show me the one im connected to and thats it...
+ my dashboard wasnt working, but i deleted a preference pane and it started working!!!!! leopard is great, but i cant keep reinstalling it!!!!!
so i tried to re install update 10.5.1 and restarted it, blah blah
but it still wont show me networks!!!!! HEEELLLPPP PLLLEEEAAASSSEEEEE

becks87It is unusual for the calendar to sync and not the contacts in Outlook. I've worked with Outlook for years. You didn't answer what computer OS you are using. If it is Windows, have you tried to reset the sync history in iTunes? Do that by opening iTunes, go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and click on reset sync history. If you have done this and it doesn't help, then we can try and run scanpst.exe on your Outlook file and see if there are any errors. Search your computer for that file, however it normally resides in one of the Microsoft Office folders in the folder Program files. After that, you can see if it will sync.
