Please Help me : I Didn't set any password for my back up and now it's locked what should i do ?
Hi , i just restored my iPhone and now that i wanna restore my backup (contacts) it's locked i didnt put any password when i was backing up , any idea ?
Encrypting an iPhone backup doesn't happen accidentally. Either yourself or someone had to specifically select that option...by someone, that could be a work Exchange account...a profile installed on your phone when setting up the Exchange account can force the encryption of iPhone backups.

I bought a new macbook air pre loaded with Lion. while setting up the system, I just input the user name, and didn't set any password.

Thanks!I did it like that, but for the purpose of not having to type my password every time since I'm installing a lot of programs, and yes, it asks for the password, but do not type anything and just click "ok" or "install", since you haven't set a password it should let you go through. I guess it asks for the "password" just to let you know it will install something, but just click ok.
I will set up a password once i have install everything in System Preferences/Users & Groups

After both (1) changing the password for my Iphone 4S and now (2) loading system 6.1.3 for it (and restoring when Itunes said I must)
- Itunes it will no longer restore all the apps I bought with the old psasword.
How to get them please?

So just so we're clear, I cannot get that app back again with all my songs if it wasn't in the "purchased" place?

my husband has a iphone 4 and i've been trying to connect it to our Garmin GPS through bluetooth. Now both devices recognize it but once a call is made or received, nothing goes through the GPS. I've had it working before but it was before a couple of upgrades. It is currently on ios7.2 upgrade. Is that why it won't work?

The voice that was on when I first set up my ipad came back on and now I have to double click to get into my apps and can't use my apps because her voice is talking. How do I make the voice stop and my IPAD work again.
If you've turned VoiceOver on then see if triple-clicking the home button turns it off, and then change what Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home is set to.
Otherwise, via 'the touch to select double-tap to activate' process you need to go into Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn it off
The manual (http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad) also says that you should be able to switch voice-over off by connecting to your computer's iTunes :
Turn VoiceOver on or off in iTunes: Select iPad in the iTunes sidebar. In the Options section of the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access. Select VoiceOver, then click OK.
So select Configure Universal Access at the bottom of the Summary tab and set Seeing to Neither -
my 2 year old daughter has set a password on her ipod touch and we dont know what it is. i rang apple and due to being out of warranty they couldnt help unless i paid £25. if anyone knows a way around this could they please help as this ipod is a great support for my daughter and keeps her entertained for hours. thanks

Since this last update, something has happened to not only my phone, but to my daughters phone as well. We are constantly having to restart our phone and have no cell coverage or internet access in places we used to have no problems at all. This is very aggravating and I am ready to ditch the phone for something else! Please help!
I have a S3 and this is driving me crazy. I have taken the battery out (left out for 2 hours in dark place inside original box, SIM card out, hard reset, soft reset, and anything else I could think of including going back to factory settings.
My phone will turn off in the middle of something I am doing. No matter what it is. I still get signal and am able to talk to people. But I use my phone for work and it is starting to get annoying when you have to re-start the email you were typing because your phone turned off and a draft was not saved.
This is my replacement phone that I got back in March/April of this year. I have an otter box for it and had no problems with the other phone until I dropped it (no otter box).
Not to mention my battery will say its like at 80% in the middle of taking a picture and then it wont turn on until I have connected to a charger because it wont turn on without it because from the time I wanted to take the picture to when I turn it on, I lost 75% of my battery.
Or if I get lucky and it will turn on, I have lost half of my battery charge no what percentage it is.
Please help me fix this as I need a working phone and it is not great having to carry a portable charger with me at all times. -

No app on the iOS device is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

My macbook crashed about two weeks ago and I had icloud already set up. How do I go about retrieving the music and images? Please, help me. I had over 10gb of music on that computer and the only place it was backup was icloud. Thanks.
I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.
