PLEASE help me, i fed up with this E71 !
I am suffering from some problems some of them i solved and other still in my Nokia E71:
1. I downloaded and successfully installed the software (IM for nokia - chat on the go) from OVI store. Everything is ok but there is a major problem, when i sign in windows live messenger it gives me the following message "nokia messaging subscription is required to activate the services you have selected"
I know my nokia messaging account but the software does not give me the chance to even enter the user name and the password it just gives me this message and i have no options. I do not know what does this software want me to do. i also saw this problem before raised by many persons. It is purely nokia's problem and they should have the solution.
p.s. Attached snapshots from diff. steps of the program startup till getting the message.
2. I have finished successfully the setup of my work email settings (pop3 email). the email is actually working it sends and it receives emails but only when i synchronize it manually, it does not synchronize automatically every now and then like we have in windows outlook. so it is useless like that. i looked into all the setting of the synchronization and nothing looks unusual or strange.
I fed up really with this problem i kept trying to solve it for days.
Please help me working with an email on the mobile without automatic sync. is really terrible.
These are the settings of sync.
When to sync (menu)
Days : Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa
Hours: On all day
Sync while roaming: Always sync.
Disable sync. when: Never.
Send and Receive: Soonest
What can i do else?
3. I also was want to register with my nokia account that sends you the software updates and latest news in SMSs, i registered and everything is fine but they said that a confirmation SMS will be sent to you and contains the verification number for you mobile phone number to complete the registeration provess, i did not get that SMS till now after several days from registeration. !
My software is till the latest version but really i do not know why it is so complicated !

I have an iPhone 5 and am stuck on a "Searching..." bar where I should have either 3G or the Wi-Fi signal. This has been stuck like this all day, and I haven't been able to send/receive any text messages. I also can't go onto the Internet. Please help.
Try taking out your sim card (if you have a GSM iPhone) and putting it back in. If that doesn't work do a restart by holding down the lock and home buttons simulatneously until you see the Apple logo come back on the screen. If that doesn't work then I suggest doing a Restore of your phone through iTunes.
If all else fails, talk with your carrier, it's probably an issue with them at that point. Good luck! -
Please Help Me - I am stuck with this problem for days
O.k I have posted couple of problems here. But the latest one is as follows
I trying to pass a Stiring Array from Java function to my native method. the native function in turn invokkes another function that takes a char [][] as its parameter. My native function basically converts teh jobjectarray into char [][] and then invoke the other function.

VaishaliThe problem was that I did not ahve any actual values in the String Array. I was doing like this initially
String []file = new String[8]
and then when i pass file to the dll it was trying to read something which was not there. That's why it was crashing.
But now I put some values in it and then it works fine. -
My iPhone 4 will not sync my new voice memos from the "Voice Memos" app to my computer. This is frustrating, should not be so hard, can someone please help. I use PC with windows 7 with iPhone version 6.1.3 and iTunes most recent. Thanks.
In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked. -

I am in dilemma.
Recently i have joined a new organization which is a world leader in its field . The company name is very popular around the globe. But the thing is its almost 4 months , and as an Oracle DBA , i am not getting chance to work on something interesting / challenging . The thing is , i studied the environment here and i think most of my work involves only preparing DB docs , attending meeting and raising support tickets once a while. So very minimal technical work.
To be honest, in last 4 years of my career i haven't worked in such a large organization before so during interview i didn't ask for type of work ,and i just wanted to join this organization as it will have a dramatic impact when i mention the name in my resume . I do not want to quit this organization so early because it will have a bad impression . Also , i think speaking to my bosses will not work because they cant help it in any way .
I am happy with every thing else here , but i want to leave this company for doing something challenging as an Oracle DBA , but want to stay here because every thing else is damn good and also when i switch to a new company after 2 years , people will be dying to hire me ;) , am i contradicting ?
Please help me to come out of this dilemma.
ThanksWell, joining a big company from a small company and then leaving it just in few days would actually backfire. Next hiring people would think that since you were in capable to handle the workload in a big company(because you never worked in such environment before), you were thrown out. You won't be able to justify your reason that you left because you didnt' find enough challenge there because it can be completely blown away by a simple counter that how did you know that there was no challenging work there as you never stayed there even for a year too! So IMO, you would do more harm for you than anything good be quitting now. Its a mistake not to ask about the work but you have committed it already . What you should n't do is to do add another one and that is to leave the company now.
Since you are not having much work, why don't you use it learn more about the company, its various works, other divisons and above all, to learn oracle database in your spare time. There is no place where you would be given challenges for your sake. If there is work it would come to you else you would be remaining free. You are working as a normal dba I believe not in support or something like that for you, every time, a new issue ticket is ready. If you have spare time with you, use it wisely to understand how things are working , both in your organization and with oralce db. Spend time doing trainings and learn more about the product, complete at least and then leave.

Since I have Yosemite on my iMac I can't view PDF files in Safari anymore. It keeps telling me to upgrade my Adobe Reader, but it is the latest version. Please help? I don't have this problem on my Macbook that does not have Yosemite installed.
Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print or save PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to do so by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar should appear under the cursor. Click the printer or disk icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others—I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 6
Do as in Step 4 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari. -

The next time you attempt to reach Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Do not choose the obvious - you have already established that path is not working. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
Skype is aware of problems reaching their customer service unit via the website, however people are getting through. I have flagged your report for follow-up by those to whom I report.

If it were me I would schedule an appointment at the store where you bought it and meet with the Manager of the store in person. Print this post and bring it with you along with your iMac.
And change the password on your Apple ID and then see if there are in purchases in your account that you did not make. If there are then someone did get your ID and password. If not someone got your Credit Card information from somewhere and used it. -
