I HAVE A ROUTER THAT IS RUNNING TWO LAPTOPS AND A DESKTOP. I PUT A W-E-P 128 BIT PASSWORD ON IT AND I DON'T WANT IT TO HAVE A PASSWORD! HOW DO I REMOVE SAID PASSWORD BEFORE MY PARENTS FIND OUT I LOCKED UP THEIR BUSINESS ROUTER?
login to your router setup page by typing 192.168.1.1 on your address bar....type admin for your password and leave the username blank..... click on the tab that says wireless and there should be a subtab for the wireless security there...click on it and set it to disabled instead of WEP...save the settings afterwards

I have the 80gb iPod. I downloaded the software cd that came with it. When I connected my ipod to my pc and have itunes open a error thing pops up that says BIGDOG IP (or something) can't be used without upgrading t to 7. or higher. It then asks if I wanna upgrage now. Click yes, takes me to page & I click where it says to download 7.3. I do that & like within a sec says Thank You for upgrading and still on the apple site next to Thanks for downloading 7.3 it says to start I have to have adminstrative access (which I do) then it says download the software (which I have). Then nothing even happens!! I'll open iTunes and connect my ipod again and it still doesnt pull up any of the files that were already on this ipod. The upgrade to 7.3 pops up again. I dont understand whats going on. I tried it on 2 different pc's & am getting the same messsage. What can I do? BTW I just bought this ipod from a friend so there are already songs on it. I dont know if that matters.
Not an expert, but I'd try uninstalling any trace of iTunes, and then downloading it straight from the website.

Someone help! I have no idea what I am doing!
I have a 80gb iPod that we just bought from a friend. Somehow I managed to delete all the songs he had on there which was like 2,000. I'm not really worried about that. Problem is..how do I get music on my iPod from my computer? I've also tried adding music to the Library in iTunes and it has stored to the recently added list. SO in other words I just dont know what the heck to do. Now I have a Pod with nothing on it. Any advice? Thanks!

Okay, so the problem seems to be in that iTunes can't find your songs (like you said).
So let's try this:
Open up the iTunes preferences, Edit>Preferences for a PC. Click the advanced tab. Now make sure the Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized box is checked, as well as Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library checkbox.
Click OK.
If these checkboxes weren't already checked, then iTunes will take some time to copy your library.
If you already had the checkboxes checked, and nothing happens when you click OK, click Advanced, then Consolidate Library. This will copy your library again.
If no error messages pop up during the copy, you're set. Right click the iPod (Bigdogs iPod, as yours has been named), and left click Sync.
If error messages pop up during the copying library process, complaining about not being able to find files, it means you've actually somehow moved or deleted the songs that you added to iTunes. Delete the references to the songs in question from iTunes, re-add them again and then sync the ipod over again.

I've just updated my Itunes to the newest update (iso7 I think) and now my itunes won't even open. It just jumps 2-3 times on my dock then doesn't open. I have no idea what to do , please help!
Open Finder. Go to the "Go" menu in the menu bar. Press and hold Control and click on Library. Go to "Preferences". Find a file named, "com.apple.iTunes.plist" and delete that file. This won't delete your iTunes content. It will reset iTunes. Try it again.

I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup. -

While transferring Adobe from laptop to PC the licensing files got corrupt and the right way to use Adobe Applications is to install first as transferring from a different machine can give you problems.
You can try steps from this article if that helps otherwise you have to reinstall and manually delete some files , everything is mentioned.

This is an error reported by the optical drive's firmware. The tracking servo is the servomechanism which guides the laser pickup along the track on the optical disc. The error means that the servo couldn't do its job within the programmed parameters. What it doesn't say is why.
You have to be very precise as to when this error occurs. If it occurs as you wrote, while it "starts preparing to write the disc", and not when it has actually began to burn, then it's likely that the drive has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
There are other possibilities, so you should check them, but they would be more likely if the error occurred after the drive began to write. OrangeMarlin has suggested two options -- try a different brand of CD or DVD, and try cleaning the lens. -
