Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

C:\Users\Cheye\Music\iTunes should be the original library. You should be able to connect to it as follows.
Close iTunes, wait a few seconds, click the icon that starts iTunes and immediately press and hold down the shift key. Keep holding until asked to choose or create a library. Click choose and browse to the file C:\Users\Cheye\Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl.
Depending upon exactly what you did this has either restored your library, or done absolutely nothing at all. That was the reason for asking you to check using the script.
Assuming you still have a library full of dupes there are a number of ways to go. I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove unwanted duplicates which I discuss in some detail in this thread. While it should work it will be ideal if it discards the copies that are outside the media folder C:\Users\Cheye\Music\iTunes\iTunes\iTunes Media. I've a feeling it will do exactly that, but it depends in part on exactly you got into this mess. It would be worth doing a few sample runs of just a few sets of duplicate files first.

When you get a call it has some small icons of reminding and message and one white ugly "slide to answer" bar.*** seriously?
People complained about the green bar in IOS 7.0.3. You can't please everyone with everything. Deal with it and move on. Or you can just get a Droid phone and suffer through the bizarre interface changes.
A lot of people would really appreciate a release with the old interface back.

There is a file in the iTunes library folder that contains your playlist information is the iTunes Library.xml file.
Try and find the file, usually located in one of these locations depending on your OS:
Operating System
Default location of iTunes Folder
Mac OS X
/Users/[your username]/Music
Microsoft Windows XP
\Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\
Microsoft Windows Vista
\Users\[your username]\Music\
Microsoft Windows 7
\Users\[your username]\My Music\
Then you can import this file to your iTunes Library like this:
1. Choose File > Library > Import Playlist.
2. Navigate to the "iTunes Library.xml" file
3. Windows users: Click Open.
If your Podcasts list in iTunes is empty after following these steps, learn how to add them back into iTunes.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

You don't. This is the new iOS that you are running, and it cannot be downgraded.
Why don't you give it some time. Play around with the settings to see if you can get the look and feel more to your liking. Play with the new features. And don't forget, that with the enhanced security, if you are using iCloud and Find My iPhone, your device is far less attactive to would-be thieves. It cannot be reset to factory settings without turning off Find My iPhone, and only you know what the password required to do that is....

Take a picture of your toolbars so you can easily reconstruct them from the default after solving the the problem.
If it happens to you it will probably happen again in the future so you might want to keep some copies of your modified localstore.rdf file so you can delete the bad one and rename one of the replacements in waiting. Saving, copying and renaming must be done with Firefox down, of course.

I recently upgraded my IPad because I thought it was a necessary security upgrade since Apple's security was recently compromised. I did not know it was going to reconfigure my settings. I hate it the way it is now and don't know how to get it back to the way it was. Is there anyway to reverse the upgrade without losing my pictures and other data? I also lost some expensive courses I had purchased. They are no longer there when I open the app. I hate the way it organized my pictures too. My imac wont start up after it asked me to restart the system. Prior to that, a message showed saying i dont have enough space on my start up disk. Now after i restart, it wont go pass the gray screen at start up with the apple logo. I restarted it several times, unplugged power from wall and still wont go pass the gray screen. I am now start up with the installation disk that came with imac and running permission repair( read it from other posts). Permission repair says 8 min till completion and its been running for 2 days now. What else can i do? What happens if i end permission repair and do repair disk? You shouldn't be running Permissions repair booted from the install disc, in the first place. Stop it, shut down and Safe Boot. Hold Shift key down at startup chime. Give it longer to boot than usual. If you can get it to boot up, you must delete some things to make room. Likely candidates are in your home folder, music, movies, documents, pictures. The Safe Boot will, if possible, repair your drive.
If you don't want to lose them completely, you need to move them to an external drive. You should maintain at least 15-20% free of drive capacity.
You will likely have introduced real errors by repairing Permissions booted from the install DVD. You can fix them by running Permissions repair if and when you are in Safe Boot.

I want to restore my home page the way it was before I downloaded Firefox 4 which destroyed my home page features (news, currency converter, horoscope, weather etc.) so I deleted Firefox 4 and re-installed Firefox 3.6.17.

The look of my home page was perfect with Firefox 3.6.17. I had a strip of whales breaching around the Google logo. Underneath I had all kinds of wonderful things (I forget what they're called) on the page which was divided into sections: weather, CNN, Reuters, currency converter, Rick Levine's daily horoscope, health tip of the day etc. I promptly removed FF4 because my home page was totally ruined and I can't figure out how to restore all these wonderful easy features. Could you kindly help me or has FF totally changed the entire home page layout and I shall never be able to restore them. I have saved a copy of my Profile on my USB stick. You have to Restore from Backup.

Whenever i use Safari or play some video, my browser shuts down automatically. It turns black for few seconds and then homescreen appears.. I am encountering this problem after updating my ipad to IOS 5.. Kindly help me guys. Thanks.

Update:
I have since gotten rid of the Asus Motherboard and the OCZ Memory. I swapped them out for a Biostar motherboard with an Ati chipset and PNY DDR3 1333Mhz memroy.
I was quite confident that the motherboard was causing all of my problems, mainly due to the fact that i have another computer in my house that is running a quad-core intel core 2 duo with an intel chipset and I don't have this problem at all on my other system.
After I did the swap I made sure to install all of the latest drivers and after everything was complete I logged on to facebook and i was able to play Fishville with no problems. BUT, as soon as I loaded Cafe' World my computer instantly shut off.
I have been monitoring my temperature with the pc probe that came with my motherboard and my core temps NEVER go above 48 degrees Celcius.
I know for a fact that this isn't a heating issue. Something is not right and I wish someone here at adobe could try to point me in the right direction, take the time to look at what all I have tried and give me a creative point of view on this.
The only thing that is not new in this machine is the hard drive.. and I know that isn't the problem because I tried a new hard drive already and it didn't fix it. So I took it back, as I didn't need it. There has to be a compatability issue with adobe flash player and some component in my system somewhere.. Its making me crazy.
I have never come accross a problem on a computer that I couldn't fix and this is the first time I have ever had to ask for help and I don't feel like I am getting any help whatsoever from Adobe.
At least Microsoft stayed on the phone with me for 2+ hours and TRIED to help me resolve this issue... to no avail.

As of a month or so ago, I could search on Firefox and it worked fine. Now, most all the time when I search, I get only commercial sites. Very disappointing. I then just go to Explorer or AOL and get the search results without hardly any commercial sites. Is there a setting that I can change to get back to good search results?

Your search toolbar can be customised, you can choose which sites it will search. See [[Search suggestions]]
Of course if you are complaining about the results from say Google, and possibly the amount of adverts that is a separate matter.
