Please Help me in connecting my X-Fi! Plea

Hi all,
Santa's going to bring me a shiny new X-Fi Fatality, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!
But first I need your help in connecting it to my Creative/Cambridge DTT2500: speakers are now linked to my Audigy via the Y-cable with the mini-jack from Audigy's digital out; the cable splits in digital din in and ac-3 RCA in on DTT decoder.
Will this be ok for X-Fi too?
I've posted the same question in another thread, but without answers...please I do need your help in getting the most out of my Xmas present!

The X-Fi has a standard 2-channel digital out and would not work with the same connections as your current Audigy card.
You would need to make the front / rear analog connections for use in gaming and then a standard mono minijack to single RCA for the AC-3 in for DVD Dolby Digital playback.
This does limit you to 4-channels in gaming, and you would not be using the X-Fi's Dolby Digital decoder. But that would give you the best connection with those older speakers.

Changing devices is no reason to create a new Apple ID.
All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.
To update apps purchased with the old ID, you MUST sign in with that Apple ID.

And I have a printer of Canon LBP2900...
My problem is that, I can't connect my Canon LBP2900 printer with my new OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 version.
My previous OS X Mavericks is working well with my Canon LBP2900 printer...
But when I upgrade it to OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 version, my printer is not working...

Your first step would be to upgrade to Snow Leopard (10.6). To do that, you would need to purchase the Snow Leopard DVD. Following that you could determine how much further you could upgrade.

firstly merry xmas to you all,
Pease please please help me. I brought my son an itouchfor xmas and spent all day trying to connect it to itunes only to be met with the same issues posted about being recognised as a camera but also saying that it needs windows XP service pack 2 or better? as far as i now looking at windows updates i have the latest version.
Please can someone help me, im not the best to say the least on a PC!! and it would save my ears from the wife and son LOL

I had trouble getting my iPod Touch working. Saw a solution that fixed it for me, don’t know if it will work for you, but gotta be worth a try (?)
Go to START / CONTROL PANEL / ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS.
Click on APPLE MOBILE DEVICE SUPPORT.
Then click on CLICK HERE FOR SUPPORT INFORMATION.
A box will open up & there will be an option “REPAIR” to click on.
This resolved the problem that I had, where the iPod Touch was not being recognized by my computer / iTunes. Hope it solves your dilemma too.

Please help me to connect TC for the first time

Hi,
I have a brand new TC since last week, and I am expecting some problems.
I would like to connect TC to my iMac using Wi-Fi.
It seems that Airport Utility (with both 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 sw version) is not able to see TC. Please note that in my office I use also a Wi FI internet connection with a Belkin Router.
I just want to know how to set up TC connection via Wi Fi, and make Time Machine backups on that.
Could you please help?

PLEASE HELP. The connection between invoices and notifications

I have to develope a search page for invoice notifications. The trouble is that I can't find the connection between an invoice and the notifications sent on this invoice. Have no connection between the WF_NOTIFICATIONS table and the AP_INVOICES_ALL and AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL tables. Is there anyone that can please help me ?

for an approximation of "what you see is what you get". There may be differences from what the end user sees based on different browsers (IE vs Netscape), different browser margin and font settings and different printers for printed reports. It is truly annoying. We have found that PDF is more predictable when it can be used instead of HTML.

Is the wifi optoin greyed out? If so, go to Settings>General>Reset and reset nerwork settings. You will need to reenter any wifi passwords you had previously saved. If that dosn't work, backup the phone and restore it http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 this will walk you through all that. Just make sure you setup your phone as new and test the wifi before restoring from backup.

That screen is saying it has gone into recovery mode and you need to use the instructions for attaching by recovery mode given in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Granted this is not the first time I have had frustrating network troubles with these units, however this time I just can't seem to fix it.
We are running a couple iMac G5's 1.6 GHz, 512mb ram w/ Mac OS X 10.4.11, both have airport cards installed and have worked on the network before.
As of the other day they both decided they no longer wanted to be on the network and just sort of dropped off, nothing was changed on the computer end or the modem end. I have attempted running network diagnostics, resetting the modem, recreating locations, powering off for extended periods and even so far as to do a tcpdump with terminal commands. I just can't understand why these machines have such problems with networking and why it has to be so extremely frustrating to troubleshoot. Can anyone please help me with a run through of what this could possibly be and maybe a step by step to fix it, I may just be dumb or missing something but blah.

Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do. Insturctions are inside your router user manual.

Please help: how to connect to SQL Server Analysis Service (OLAP cube) with Crystal Re[ort XI

I'm trying to connect to an OLAP cube on our SQL Server 2005 machine which is running Analysis Services (9.0). When I am trying to use the Crystal Reports menu follow steps mentioned below:
1) New report -> Standard Report Wizard
2) Create New Connection -> OLAP -> Add
Source Type: MS OLE DB Provider fir Analysis Service 9.0
But when I click buttone 'Test', CR prompt me: The connection could not be establiched. Faild to set properties.
HOWEVER: I can connect SQl Server Analysis Server with Excel and other Report tools.
Our softwares are as mentioned following:
- OS: Windows 2003 Server
- SQL Server: SQL Server 2005 Enterprise
- Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Developer Edition
And SQL Server & Crystal Report are running in the same PC.
Any help?

Please help! Cannot connect to Itunes with Iphone or on laptop!

I dont know whats going on but I need someones help. I just bought an iphone today and cant log in into app store. It says "Cannot connect to Itunes store" when entering my apple id. I have made an account online. The weird thing is that my girlfriend account logs in just fine. Same thing with the Itunes on out laptop. I can sign in to Itunes with her account just fine, but when i sign in with mine it says "We cannot complete your itunes store request, an unknown error occured (0x800B010F) There was error in the Itunes store please try again later" But how can that be possible if my girlfriends account logs in perfectly fine? I made another account and nothing still the same, Help very frustrating since we just moved from android. I did the time adjustment by switching the year and time and going back to app store, made a new account, reseted iphone, reseted settings, whats going on? Please help

Start iTunes on your computer and make sure you are logged into your account. Now connect and sync your iPhone and Touch, disconnect and try again.

Please Help! Database connection

Hey guys,
I know this may seen very simple to some of you and I hope
that you can help me with all of your knowledge. I am trying to set
up a database for the first time. I just want to have a login page
on my site and I have no idea how to get started. I pretty much
need step by step instructions if someone could help. So far my
hosting provider told me some things but I still get an error
message. I was told the best way to connect to a ms sql database is
through a connection string. I tried that and it told me that my
name could not have any " - " in it. Then I tried getting rid of it
and it keeps giving me errors. If someone could please just point
me in the right direction to get started with this then I would be
forever greatful. Thank you so much for any help you can give me.

Hi Gary:
Using the latest version of AIM won't work. The PC user MUST be using AIM 5.9 or before or Trillian.
Have you tried connected to the PC AIM Bot listed here: http://www.ralphjohnsuk.dsl.pipex.com/ContactTesters.html (It's my PC auto responder). If you can connect, then it's probably the windows user configuration with the firewall that is preventing you from connecting.
